The location was great. The views from the room to the river were fabulous. The staff was really kind and helpful. The room was wonderful and super clean.

That they allow people to smoke at the balcony where they also serve the breakfast. Unfortunately, if you are a non-smoker you are forced to be disturbed by the pestilent smell and smoke of someone else's cigarettes while eating. Moreover, if the doors to the balcony are open even inside the dinning room you also get disturbed by the smell and smoke. It is really a pity, that by allowing smoking during meal times in the balcony, the hotel direction destroys the breakfast/meal time for all the non-smoking guests.

The location and the friendliness of the staff are exceptional. It is very difficult to get a taxi in Neuburg, even when trying to book more than half a day in advance. So when I had to catch the train the boss gave me a lift. The room is very cosy and comfy and the view over the river was very nice.

The room was a bit cold at night and the smart heating control is not intuitive. However, there was an additional blanket in the wardrobe, so it was ok.

This is a lovely, quaint hotel. The balcony from the restaurant offers an amazing view. The breakfast was plentiful and beautifully presented. When we arrived on a very hot day and the rooms were even hotter, so be warned! We traveled by bicycle and they offer a lockup garage for bikes which was great.

Unfortunately the bar/restaurant was closed in the evening when we wanted a drink. We went elsewhere. On returning to the hotel we discovered the bar open ... seemed a little disorganised.

From entering the hotel, we were immediately welcomed and given a tour-in English. The last who greeted is was warm and kind and offered to bring our luggage up the stairs. The room was modern but with a traditional charm. Two large, comfortable beds and seating and a gorgeous bathroom with very large shower awaited us. Or dog was also welcomed for a small fee. You could purchase bio soft drinks and/or beer and wine and snacks for cash on an honor system without having to go to the restaurant. Breakfast was delicious and simple and suited even my vegan needs. They even had noon dairy options for the coffee. The view from the cage was magnificent.

Unfortunately, the town was closed for the holiday weekend but there were amazing hiking and outdoor activities to experience. It is a bit far from the big highway but that's also a bonus.

The hotel was fabulous, such beautiful views. We traveled via train and were able to coordinate a Taxi with the hotel but on the way out there were no Taxis available. The receptionist at the hotel was kind enough to drive us to the train herself. We loved our stay in this beautiful hotel.

Fantastic location, very friendly and professional staff, quiet rooms with great views. Bed was hard, which I personally liked. Extra pillow was provided upon request.

For this price point I would have expected slightly more service, such as daily drinking water/ free tea and coffee (plus kettle) in the room, stronger WiFi, bathroom amenities (shower gel is provided), bathrobe, and free parking.

This place is exceptional. A (very) old building turned into a cozy hotel with modern amenities but without destroying the historic nature of the place. It is perfectly located in the old city, has breathtaking views of the Danube river. Rooms were cleaner than clean. Really spotless. Bed was super comfy and large (nothing for people who prefer soft mattresses though); bathroom was huge and pleasant. Everything in working order, internet was fast. Breakfast was a real treat with healthy tasteful options. Above all the price of the room was very reasonable too. What a great find with a friendly staff. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Really nothing to complain. But be aware that the stairs to the upper levels are pretty steep if that is a hurdle for you

Breakfast was very good, including fresh made egg and bacon... Free access to touring cycles for riding along Donau :) Just in center of the nice old town with lots of restaurants and bars.

The hotel has no dining restaurant. Watch out for the narrow parking in parking basement.

A really great place to stay with very nice rooms with a fantastic view over the Danube river and a great breakfast on the quiet terrace overviewing the river. Staff gave a very warm welcome. Save and easy parking for the bicycle.

Very nice staff, very nice hotel in a vintage building, good comfort and details in the room. Nice view over the Donau river.

The garage of the hotel is very tight. If your car is big, better stay outside and go for road side parking 200m down the road.
