We loved this place for its beautiful architecture, inside it is very beautiful too. I like that it is tall building, so you can enjoy the view. Staff met us with complementary drinks. Very comfortable bed and bedding, plus the bathtub was nice and relaxing.

Sadly, when you getting out of the building, there is homeless people everywhere, yelling, smelling, doing things. We couldn’t enjoy our walk in peace, walking there was really scary experience, but if you’re having a company of 5 let’s say, I think you’re ok(or if you’re driving) plus Those homeless people just using streets as toilet, so you can imagine the smell. By the way, IT IS NOT hotel’s responsibility, so yeah, they are keeping their place safe and clean from it that’s for sure. Two more not good things, is that in our bathroom we noticed someone’s piece of fake eyelashes. Second, on bed headboard and on curtains there were a good amount of dust, but everything else seemed clean.

The room was wonderful, clean, all that you need, giant bathroom, wonderful shower. The view out our upper floor west facing window was so interesting. We saw lots of birds flying by and a dramatic thunderstorm from our window. The elevator was very efficient. The staff were very helpful. WE also enjoyed the healthy apples in the lobby.

I would rather have had a normal coffee maker instead of an espresso maker in the room. The wifi was confusing with a different log in at times, but staff were extremely helpful with this. We didn't find out when the lobby coffee hours were until the second morning.

It was my anniversary and this by far has been the best hotel I have stayed at so far. A few highlights were: *The cleanliness of the lobby, room, elevator, walkways. *Friendly staff that you can contact through text or call. *I had asked for a complimentary upgrade due to the celebration of my anniversary and they had given us a premium corner room (based on availability.) *We arrived earlier due to our flight, we were given complimentary early check in with a check in beverage. *Check out at 12:00 PM *Free water, fruit, and even water bottles when asked for. *They provide 24/7 gym, pet friendly hotel, free bike and helmet (based on availability), umbrellas ready to go incase of rain and free coffee from 4AM - 9:00PM provided by Portland Coffee Roasters. Would 10/10 come back to Portland for the Dossier! Thank you Dossier team for creating a wonderful anniversary for me and my partner. I have no complaints.

Great staff all around. I texted the concierge pretty late (past 11pm) and asked if they had a firmer pillow, and one was delivered to my door right away. LOVED the bathtub in the king room. Nice sloped back for pure relaxation. The shower was great too, nice and hot with amazing pressure. I don't normally like any hotel products, but I looooved the scent of their shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The bed was very comfortable, wall unit AC responsive to our changes, and overall just a great hotel. Free beverage upon arrival (checking in) was a nice touch! I got a mini can of Coca-Cola, my favorite lol. Oh and it's super close to and easy to get around town on the TriMet rail or buses.

Can't think of a single negative on their part. I didn't love the area of downtown (didn't feel safe to walk around at night) but the hotel itself was like an oasis during our travels.

Second time I've stayed here now, after trying a few other central hotels. Location is great, very central and about half a block from the main square. the main reason I came back to the Dossier over other hotels I'd stayed is because of the cleanliness, which stood out. The staff have been very friendly and helpful both times I've stayed. This time I came with my son (twin room) and some friends with their daughter took a couple of rooms and it was perfect. Exceptional value for the price paid.

None related to the hotel, overall was a very good stay.

The room is nice and cozy in downtown Portland.

The scent used in the lobby makes me feel sick and nauseous. It is a very strong and unpleasant fragrance. Please stop using it or switch to something more subtle. Additionally, there seems to be a delay in cleaning rooms and a lack of communication between the front desk and housekeeping. We called for room service at 3 p.m., and while a ticket was sent, no one came to clean the room. When we returned to the hotel at 9 p.m., we were still waiting for the housekeeping team to arrive

Very charming and the artwork in the halls and rooms were amazing. The bird art above the bathtub in my room was a lovely touch. Felt like royalty. The view and location were amazing too. It was easy to walk to several types of shops, restaurants, and grocery stores.

Some hairs that were not my color were in the shower drain and it didn’t drain very well even after it went down. The under toilet was dirty too. I am not picky though, just a heads up. The room was clean otherwise.

Thank you so much Don and everyone of Dossier who curated an amazing hotel experience for my birthday trip to Portland. From the exciting check-in and the prompt professional valet late Friday night to a flawless check-out and delicious Sunday brunch at Alder, my party and I were absolutely SPOILED! The location of the Dossier is travel convenient and was perfectly epicentered around our planned activities. The room was clean and aesthetically pleasing with a magnificent view of downtown. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time and appreciated the small kind courtesies, complimentary cold beverages and fruit, and the sweet birthday card and chocolates. You're team really took care of us and I strongly believe we got the best of the best at the Dossier. I will definitely be recommending your fine establishment to anyone planning a trip to Portland. Thanks a million! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The property was well located in the heart of downtown. Our room was nice and clean with a great view. The staff was great and especially Clyde, who works the front desk, was helpful, full of great recommendations and just a great human! Coffee, fruit, a decently stacked gym and vouchers for Alders were nothing to sneeze at either, 10/10 would stay again!

I personally would have liked a smart tv rather than just cable in the room, but that’s not a big deal. The valet price was a little much for us, but there a lots of park houses around a short distance away as well.

Front desk guy was nice when i informed himi had my nephews staying with me unexpectedly. one was graduating from Portland State, and we thought it would be fun to hang out before they headed back to Eugene and i caught my flight to SF in the morning. and he was nice about it. Then, the next morning, what we didn’t like is we waited over a half hour for valet when there was a plane to catch (and instead of having breakfast my nephew had to take me directly to airport as a result) he waived the valet cost. We didn’t complain but it was a bummer hanging out on the sidewalk that long.

Had to skip breakfast with my nephews because valet took sooo long.
