Personal is very polite and helpful. Location is convenient - in the center of the city, close to the airport express train stop. Maybe a bit far from attractions. The room is spacious and clean enough. Breakfast dishes are diverse, the choice is broad.

I had a pre-paid reservation and was requested to provide for a deposit at arrival, which was a surprise (there was no information about it during booking). However, it took just couple of minutes to sort this out (THB is not the only option, USD also possible), and the deposit was safely returned during checking out.

We have been returning to the Sukosol over the past two decades and always look forward to the service, breakfast and a familiar place to stay. Our rooms had a connecting door which was very useful when travelling with an elderly relative to give us and them the security and peace of mind. We enjoyed the vast array of the breakfast offerings, with Asian and Western tastes catered for amply. Location is always a factor when choosing a hotel and while we did not use the airport link this time we made good use of the Skytrain links from Phaya Thai into the main shopping area and of course Siam and the food court.

A little of noise from the road below at the front of the hotel from the room (6th floor) but nothing to worry about.

Great breakfast every morning with plenty of options. Room was spacious for family of four. Location was fantastic for the Phaya Thai BTS station nearby. BTS easy to get around main destinations. Staff also assisted in arranging a driver for local tourist destinations.

Renovations were being done and the paint smell was a little off putting.

Extremely clean and well-maintained hotel. The pool and the walking distance to Paya Thai BTS station and Airport link is a big plus. Friendly staff and plenty of breakfast options in a side street next to the hotel. Shopping mall nearby (Century The Movie plaza w. dircect access from/to BTS station Victory monument. Many airlines use the hotel for their crews - they know why.

Organizing a meter taxi through the concierge was a bit of a drag. The driver wanted to rip us off (initial price 300 THB for a 15-minute-ride) and we had to bargain with him before getting into the car. I would expect a good concierge to tell the drivers to turn on the meter or f*** off immediately. PS It was not midnight and there was no rain

1.The disagreement on the room -we were group of 3 but they provide a room of 2 queen beds which its small beds and not comfortable for 2 - the hotel offered another room but really small instead of adding bed to our booked room 2. Booking confirmed the pickup from airport and the hotel didn’t

The rooms are very spacious with modern facilities, including the bathrooms. Location is also very easy to access.

The breakfast menu was too limited, and tasted was not really good.

Exemplary services by the hotel staffs. I'd booked a deluxe family room, however upon checking in, we realised that toilet couldn't be locked. It was not faulty, just that the door came without a lock! My girl was uncomfortable with it, hence we requested for a room change. Unfortunately, all the deluxe rooms are of the same format. We requested CS staff, Picenta to assist us and she was to prompt and considerate on our request. We got our room changed and she send the bell boy to personally to move our luggages to the new room. The hotel staffs are polite and is always greeting us with a smile. My family and I were very pleased with my stay. There is a very nice fishball noodles shop next to the hotel, I recommend everyone staying in Sukosol to try!

Room and corridor are abit dim. Food is limited around the hotel.

Room is very very big. Nice big toilet. There is 2 part, one side is newer, i went to both so can see the difference. But both have very big rooms. toilet is nice. staffs is nice. There is a restaurant downstairs which serve nice food with nice ambiance. Breakfast is good but not as fantastic as i read from other review. There is a 7-eleven beside which is very helpful, u get drinks and food there. Train station is just 5mins walk. The staffs there are all very friendly, mostly speaks good english. I had a very comfortable stay there. Go for the newer wing/rooms if possible, price not much difference, its much nicer. Hot water is fast for shower.

Upgrade the older rooms and make it very modern. Might attract more people. Heard it was upgraded, maybe it more towards Thailand style. Not the super modern style. So got pros and cons. Might appeal to some people too. Overall its still very good actually.

Fantastic hotel, incredibly clean and luxurious. The breakfast buffet was excellent - plenty of choice and all good quality. The pool has plenty of loungers (though there's only a few hours of direct sun, if you want to tan) and the gym is very well equipped. The sky train is just around the corner, about a 7 minute walk.

There's a very busy road directly outside and the windows don't block the noise. If you're a light sleeper, I wouldn't recommend this place as the noise is 24/7. Also the beds are very firm. I'm a side sleeper and after 4 days my hips were sore.

Everything was good and almost to exceptional level a) love the location -10 minutes walking to BTS near Phaya Thai, b) the room - spacious and the cleanliness is top notch c) and the staff - friendly

a) The halal food was very limited (which is find) but imagine having the same type of breakfast (capati, roti canai, with two types of curry repeated for 4 days) and the taste is nothing to talk about. So u can stay here but perhaps do not opt for the breakfast ( there is 7-11 5 minutes walk from the hotel) b) it can get loud on weekend and u can actually can hear your neighbours talking and the traffic down below.
