We stayed at the Crest Trail Lodge for 2 nights to explore Mount Rainier National Park. It was the perfect location, in a lovely, quiet country town with plenty of options to eat and drink and it had a grocery store to top up on everything we needed. Our room was cozy, spacious and comfortable! The staff were great and accommodating. There was even a complimentary popcorn machine in the lobby and some toys and games which our daughter absolutely loved. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend for anyone travelling through to Mount Rainier.
It was a little noisy in the halls, we could often hear the people above us showering and walking around. I would have liked to see a kettle and some tea as we are not coffee drinkers.

This property was very clean and the rooms have been updated nicely. It’s true that sound seems to carry easily down the hallway but it wasn’t enough to disturb our sleep. The popcorn machine in the entry was a fun touch and the front desk people were kind and accommodating. There was a nice open space next to the hotel with grass and picnic tables and the restaurants in town were all very good. Packwood and Crest Trail Lodge would be my first choice for future stays in the area.
A bit of a drive into town but also nice to get away from the business of Main Street.

As soon as we walked into the room, we could tell it had just been cleaned. Smelled and looked so nice. I like that it is just outside of town but close enough to grab a bite to eat after a day of hiking. Only about 20-30 minutes to Steven’s Canyon entrance to Paradise.
The walls are thin. We all woke up one morning to the next room’s alarm clock. Plus could hear whenever they coughed or sneezed. The other negative is that it has no laundry facility in the lodge or Packwood. We had to travel 30-40 minutes to find a laundromat.

Great place to stay. We were there two nights. Only complaint was a bit of noise - smoke detectors went off from showers several times (though luckily never late or super early) and hallway chatter and clomping boots. Wasn't bad but we had to leave the room AC/Heat on continuous fan (and we were happy that option existed!) to make some white noise for sleeping. They had 24/7 teas and coffees. And Jessica at reception was a epic level friendly, helpful and just generally awesome. Was a great stay.
Just a bit of noise mentioned above, but nothing terrible at all. Would also appreciate an entry rug for the room. In winter there's always rain or snow tracks and since the hallways are bare floor you track into your room. We put down one of the bath towels and that was fine.

Check-in was super easy and smooth. All the linens and towels smelled like fresh laundry which just boosted my confidence in the cleanliness of the room! Rooms look exactly as pictured in the photos, you can tell they are slightly dated but everything is clean and functional and better than what you might expect for a small town outside a national park
The floors were slightly dusty in parts, but not terribly. The table was a bit chipped on the edges and could probably use a refresh or replacement. These were minor aesthetic issues. The doors have ~0.5" gap between the bottom of the door and the floor so I could see the hallway light on the whole night, it would be nice to have that sealed.

It was a great location near major national parks. It had a good-sized fridge. Had a microwave which was nice for quick meals/snacks. Staff was friendly. Provided plenty of towels and extra blanket.
No elevator nor stairs near the room. Bathroom door was weirdly placed but we worked around it. No corkscrew available for opening our wine bottle. Freezer didn’t work very well.

This room was nice and suited our needs for the night. It was located in a great place and was very secure. The staff was really friendly and the place was mostly clean.
One of the things I didn’t like was the laundry area. The machines needed to be cleaned and I felt the price was very high. Also the room itself needed to be cleaned. Wouldn’t recommend using this again.

The staff was lovely and very accommodating! Rooms were clean and a good size. I was shocked by how great the value was, as it was a very low price and I booked last minute.
Slightly far away from the center of town (driving distance), but makes up for it in price and friendliness. I don’t believe it had an elevator so the one con was lugging suitcases up the stairs.

The front desk woman we met when checking in was so funny. Appreciated the humor after a long day. The room itself had everything you needed after a long day of hiking - microwave, fridge, hairdryer, toiletries, towels, small table & chairs, etc. I would stay here again if I wanted to be near the park as it was clean and had everything you needed.

Cozy room wth fridge and microwave. Not far away from different hiking routes. There is a supermarket, couple of tank stations and a handful of dining possibilities nearby.
The walls were not super thick and a few days/nights we had some more noisy neighbours than others, but it could be worse.
