The hotel is extremely stylish, with spacious and comfortable rooms, and a fantastic terrace. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom is clean and modern. The garden is beautifully maintained, and the restaurant is the best in the area. The hotel also offers transportation to the beach and has a designated beach area for guests. The staff is incredibly helpful doing everything they can to make our stay comfortable in spite of the language barrier. Another advantage is the spacious parking lot. The beach is fantastic offering comfort or wilderness - whatever you prefer.

The only issue with the hotel is the language barrier as most of the guests are local and the staff speaks very little English. The language problem is common everywhere in San Menaio so one should be prepared to be adventurous about the food and the overall tourist experience. Sorry to say that but San Menaio and the area does not offer much more than the beach experience. Most of the streets are not clean and it is common plastics or other garbage to roam the streats.

The hotel’s outdoor rear terrace was elegant and our room was nice, with an ocean view balcony. The staff was friendly, the food at the on-site restaurant excellent, and the cleaning staff did a great job every day! While the hotel is up the street from the beach, the ocean is only a five minute walk away. The hotel has a shuttle service if you need it. However, the neighborhood is much nicer than it appears on Google Maps. My wife and I enjoyed the walk. San Menaio is a relatively quiet small town located midway between Vico del Gargano and Peschici. If you are looking for a tranquil Italian beach vacation, Park Hotel Santa Maria is the place!

Superb and luxurious comfort in a clean and well appointed hotel. A welcome night of sprawling rest after a day's travel and a single-bed the night before. In mid October San Menaio is largely closed but Villa Maria, a stately pink mansion tucked away quietly in its luscious green garden surrounded by pines, keeps going to November. It is just 5 minutes walk to a sensational sandy beach, with a crossing over the inevitable railway line right below, so no need to detour for miles as can happen. The beach was empty apart from one fisherman and handful of walkers, and I had a blissful 4pm swim in 24 degree sunshine. Villa Maria also has a VERY good restaurant (the squid was superb, as were the maccheroncini) which rightly attracted many non-residents. Spacious car park, which is a small but appreciable asset, when one is in a big car in Italy. All at a bargain price, which may have been because I was out of season but was the best value in all of Italy so far. And i had breakfast with a fox. A great discovery and highly recommend.

Squeaky clean room with a nice rain shower and handheld shower. Super convenient location in a laidback, somewhat retro-feeling, beach community. Just a few minutes walk to the sea. At the beach we really enjoyed a restaurant named Moro's: great view, tasty food, excellent musicians, and a tiramisu to die for. :-)

We stayed in the Annex across the street, which is not as charming as the main building, but it is modern and comfortable. The hotel staff did not speak much English.

Quiet hotel in beautiful location. The room was lovely and we were glad to have a balcony with a sea view. We much appreciated being able to eat in the hotel on a Sunday night out of season and the food and local wine was very good. Highly recommended !

We had a lovely meal but the ambiance could have been improved with softer lighting and no television in the restaurant.

Plenty of parking in a roomy parking area. We had to find it ourselves however since no one told us it was there. Very pretty garden and terrace downstairs. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the garden.

Difficult to find and a little off the beaten path. We were just passing through, so it didn't matter that it was not really walkable.

A small family hotel in a villa like from an American romantic movie set in Italy. Very professional and pleasant people. The best Italian food there is, great coffee. Italy in all its glory.

We would have liked an area to relax inside and for example be able to read a book. But this is a minor detail!

Beautiful setting with the Adriatic Sea view. The room we had was a 2 bedroom with a private large outdoor terrace with an amazing view. Villa Maria provided parking across the street. Breakfast was delicious and served outside on the terrace.
