the rooms more than adequate, the food served was top class and plentiful, but there is nothing else in the village no shops ,restaurants or bars but we used this place as a one night stop over and cant recommend it enough

On arrival you have to check in at 17.00/19.00 we turned up at 15.00 and met a grumpy old bar tender that was quite abrupt and said they were closing and come back later rudely that aside the rest was Perfect

Lovely rural location a few miles away from motorway. A nice help yourself continental breakfast. A very good, typically French evening meal.

The room was very hot. There was a fan, which was great but with 2 halves to a family room only half of us could be cool.

Lovely unique hotel in a tranquil French village. Excellent, very traditional four course evening meal. Unusual but very comfortable, rooms. Our family was perfect for two adults and two teenagers, with essentially two separate rooms and a shared bathroom.

lovely French village in rolling countryside and yet just 10 minutes from the motorway so convenient for our one night stop over too. super friendly welcome and great dinner in the on-site restaurant /bar. Nice buzz in the village and hotel in the evening (Thursday), there was also a pizza van in they square and a couple of local stalls in the square. really comfy beds and Egyptian cotton bedding and squidgy pillows - felt like sleeping on a cloud after a long day travelling

as others have mentioned the rooms are small and the bathroom is a fibre glass formed unit (similar to a ferry bathroom) but it’s all functional and wasn’t a problem for us

Very pleasant little hotel in a tiny village...good dinner and breakfast but the mattress was Extraordinary!

Because of staffing problems the hotel could not let us in until c. 5pm...which was very late and tiring after driving so far.

Staff - very welcoming and helpful. Dinner & breakfast. Most enjoyable & plenty of food. Relaxed atmosphere. Room very clean, comfortable & well equipped - bonus of a fan as the weather was very hot. Parking excellent. Good to meet people who were had previously stayed here.

Beautiful location away from the noise,. The hotel is beautiful and odd, the rooms are clean and facilities where perfect, easy to find. Restaurant food was freshly cook and the bar is a bonus.

The only thing I didn't like was my room had a bit of a cigarette smell, but nothing too bad the ceiling low window means some people will smoke. Not hot breakfast.

The room was comfortable and very well equipped with facilities including the ingredients for making coffee in the room. Dinner was excellent in terms of both choice and quality. A good breakfast was also provided.

The cubicle including toilet, washbasin and shower is rather cramped. Villiers-sur-Suize is a bit off the beaten track but it is worth making the effort to get to Auberge de la Fontaine.

Quiet location. Clean and comfortable rooms. A fantastic evening meal with local produce and beers and a 1st rate breakfast that was great value for money. The local honey at breakfast was delicious.

This Logis is ideally situated for an overnight stop when travelling North/South in France. Although a little tired the room was large, clean and functional. Breakfast was superb in choice and quality. We enjoyed an excellent four course evening meal which was remarkable value for money - well cooked, good choice and well presented. Drinks also very reasonably priced.

The room could do to be freshened up.
