I liked the room was set back from the main road. It also had a little patio at the back so you could sit outside facing away from the road and overlook the gardens and pool. This also allowed for the room to have a breeze blow though the room. Beds were all good as was the facilities in the room. Good location for supermarket and pub.

There was a strong cleaning odour in the room. It might have been carpet cleaning, don't know, but it took a good 10 minutes to clear. Alright for us but might be a problem for those sensitive to strong odours.

Absolutely adored the staff. Had a bit of rain and was unsure if we would be able to do any travel the next day (we were moving interstate) and they blocked off our room for us for the next night just in case we needed to stay the extra night. The amenities were lovely, by far the best stay we had over our 5 day trip from WA to QLD. Would absolutely reccomend to anyone going through or near tambo- and would love to stay again.

The receptionist was warm, welcoming & friendly, and happily helped accommodate my trailer, which I couldn't reverse. The room was welcoming, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Just lovely. Also a great position in town, close to pubs, cafe, etc but not too noisy.

The family room was nice and spacious, with a full size fridge which was great. Plenty of room to sit around the table. A microwave to heat up food but no other cooking facilities. The room was at the back of the motel, away from the highway so we weren't disturbed by road noise.

Cleanliness, comfort and service - we were a late arrival however this was easily accommodated and being a very cold night our room was warm thanks to the heater being turned on for our comfort. Great to see split a/c systems have been installed!

The carpet and bathroom is dated but the cleanliness and comfortable beds make up for the peeling paint and worn carpet. Nothing that a little reno wouldn't fix - but totally understand how expensive and hard it is to get quality tradies in remote locations. This is not a complaint but more of a statement. :)

The manager was amazing with us!. We drove since really far and she told us all the issues maybe we can find in the road (like cows, kangaroos, etc). During the day we had a flat tire in the road so we arrived really late to the motel and she gave to us all the indications.

Staff rang and checked in on your travel to see how far you were and waited until you arrived. Very friendly and approachable. The cleaner was also very friendly and cheery in a freezing cold early hour morning.

Rooms were closer to each other as requested, parking undercover in front of rooms, quiet sitting area at the back and pool

More equipped kitchen facility in rooms would have been better

The location is right in the middle of town; the deluxe rooms are wonderful, and I would recommend them; they are always clean, and there is a beautiful view of the pool and green area.

Good location, not difficult in a small town

The rear of the room seemed to access an area outside which was lit up all night and the curtains did not prevent light from entering the room.
