Overall, this hotel remained outstanding. Its staff in all areas, food service, reception, cleaning, were attentive and exceeded all expectations. Like most German hotels, air conditioning is not available but, to counter the summer heat, my room had a small portable fan which kept me cool during hot days and nights. I found this an excellent feature. As I grew up in Florida without air conditioning, we used portable electric fans to counter the hot, humid nights. The restaurant across the street gave an outstanding breakfast (Frühstück) selection. I found its sauna and other recreational amenities interesting and unique. Also, the abundance of drinks & snacks really supports visiting families. The restaurant is popular and requires reservations. But, the restaurant also runs a separate takeout option next door which provides really good German food in convenient packaging.

I really do not have any negative comments in regards to this hotel and restaurant. My only regret concerned eating dinner at its restaurant was limited as it is very popular and requires reservations.

Great Breakfast with local German breads and pastries and eggs to order. Excellent Coffee! Coffee, Tea, Juices, snacks, and Beer were available in the lobby all day and were included with the room. All the staff were super helpful and friendly. We were offered an entire apartment vs just a room for our 9 day stay. It made our stay so much more comfortable. We would stay here again when in Stuttgart!

Location was ok but a little further to restaurants, etc. than I was hoping. Also, we were able to find free parking but it was on the street and often a block or so away from the hotel. Not a problem for us as it is a very safe area.

This hotel is a little GEM located close to the town and restaurants. It is easy to find with excellent parking facilities for a short break or overnight stop. The staff were welcoming and helpful - we were offered complimentary drinks and snacks upon arrival including local fraught beer. The breakfast was excellent - with plenty of locally sourced food - and freshly prepared eggs of your choice. There were also complimentary snacks and drinks to take away. Great value hotel

This accommodation was booked for us to attend N overnight sports event. We were looking for something nearby the venue. This hotel met and supereseded our expectations. The reception staff was friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was thoughtfully prepared.

The restaurant that held breakfast was extremely warm. Like we needed to open windows without shirts warm… but if that is all you didn’t like…then take off your shirt and have the loveliest stay!

The staff was friendly, breakfast was amazing, one of the best we had, lots of options, everything fresh. We also had dinner in their restaurant, traditional German Cuisine, loved the selection of dishes, food well seasoned, lovely flavours. The room was clean and comfortable, the room, lift and halls had special scents, everything to immerse you in the black forest experience.

We had a car, but if not, you will need transport to explore around, but of course we knew that already, so it wasn't an issue to us. Herrenberg, Tübingen and Stugartt still near by.

Everywhere we went was all in a walking distance ( within 5-20 Minutes away). The hotel personal were very helpful and friendly especially the breakfast was really great. If you really enjoy freshly made omelette or scramble eggs just order it from the waitress and she will bring it to your table. Anyhow, the breakfast selection was very good. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and will definitely book my next stay the next time. Thank you for your hospitality 🙂👍

Great breakfast and friendly staff. The location is great and it seems like a high standard in terms of cleaning.

There is no staff from 9.00 PM to next morning. We had a need for toilet paper, and needed to get some from the WC in the basement. That was not good! It seemed like they forgot to clean the room one day? Please consider having a refrigerator in the room.

Very good breakfast buffet. Very comfortable bed. The staff are extremely friendly, and very helpful. The hotel itself is wonderfully calm and relaxing to be in.

Difficult to control the temperature of the room (it was far too hot, even when radiators were turned off). No other negatives though!

Timo (the owner) and I go back 10 years and in that time everything only gets better. From the drinks when you arrive to the excellent breakfast to the SpatzleAutomat! He actually cares and the price is a true value!

I really can't think of anything as I like the throwback style. They do have a small parking lot and parking on the street can be tough sometimes.

Cozy local Swabian atmosphere, welcoming staff, fantastic attention to detail everywhere you look, super clean rooms and very comfortable bed, great breakfast

Nothing - a very fair 3 star hotel. As a side note: in one of the rooms on the third floor, there was a big size dog locked in the entire day, who was barking very loud on a regular intervals - it was both annoying and scary. The hotel should consider avoiding such guests or find a better solution in such cases.
