This motor inn is in the heart of Raymond Terrace with shops restaurants and a beautiful walk to the river. It has all the regular ammenities in your room, fridge, microwave, tv, kettle, biscuits and wifi. A large shower with hot water and wonderful water pressure. There is a free laundry and your room is cleaned daily. Parking is a little tight in the courtyard, but there is more parking in the expansive parking lot next door. The owners are delightful and always available to assist if you need them. The office does shut down at 8 pm, so if you are checking in after hours, just make arrangements to get your key. Best motel in Raymond Terrace. Also, there is a restaurant nest door serving lunch and dinner.

Craig the owner was very friendly, good communication before arrival. Hotel is a little old although typical for a regional town but very well kept & looked freshly painted. Rooms very quiet, ok in size for two, good sized TV. All in all a worthy of one night stop.

Adjoining restaurant isn’t very good, food is quite average & servings were very small, assumed it is sub let & nothing to do with owner of motel.

I really liked the huge, clean and spacious room. Perfect for our family. Amenities are also complete and available. The checkin and checkout process was easy even during after office hours. The inn is close to the police station so whilst there was a bit of commotion during our stay, it was acted onto very quickly.

It is a little old so we were very careful especially with the switches. It looked like they might break if we push too hard.

I frequent Atwood B&W regularly. All works well starting with prompt pickup at airport by free shuttle bus. All staff exceptionally competent and friendly. Rooms above average and very clean and restaurant food as good as any I have had anywhere in Australia, Nth America, Europe, or SE Asia. I have never been disappointed so continue to return.

Rooms are about due for upgrade. Becoming dated.

Stuff we're friendly, kind.. very kind Room we're well set up , clean and cleaning ppl we're really nice and friendly too, Staying here over the long weekend from Melbourne was worthwhile the long drive and I recommend this place to my family and friends , I and my family would be definitely coming back .. Shops are close by and places to see..

I stayed one night in a double room. Sadly as it was NYE the restaurant was closed so I sought a meal at a nearby pub. The room was clean and comfortable, everything worked and the aircon was much appreciated. I have stayed here before and will stay again. The owners are lovely and gave me a courtesy call as my arrival was very close to office closing time.

I'm a Taiwanese who doesn't speak English well. Because I didn't know how to make a phone call, I could only inform myself that I would be late by email. The hotel was very considerate and helped me reserve a key and turn on the air conditioner in advance. It was really nice. The room is very clean and bright. The restaurant was not good. I sat for 20 minutes waiting for a menu then another 20 to get my order taken. The glass of wine took ages to come I. My restaurant experience was very disappointing. I ordered the rump steak medium and it arrived very well done. It took almost half an hour since ordering for the meal to arrive. I was in the restaurant for almost an hour and a half. Based on that experience I did not go there for breakfast as I had originally planned. I figured my chances were much better at the local mcdonalds. I was apologised to 3 times for the wait but nothing was changed etc. I can’t say enough how the situation at the restaurant coloured how I felt about my whole stay

I would stay there for sure , offices ppl were kind and friendly, so helpful when I was stressed I wasn't gonna make it , the place was nice to stay at shops and places to see close by, room were big for me and my family , travelling from Melbourne was worth the drive , kids enjoyed them self as much and I did .. it's a friendly place to stay would recommend it to my friends and family

The fact he property had a restaurant was a bonus. It was in a good location and rooms were on the ground floor with parking, outside our room.

Just a little disappointed there was no conditioner or a soap dispenser in the shower, and the extraction fan in the shower didn’t seem to work, but on the whole our stay was good value for the money.
