This was the perfect place for me to stay in Cognac. The hotel has a fantastic central position with a 2 min walk to a wide selection of bars and restaurants. It is on a shopping street and the majority of the Cognac visitors centres are within a beautiful 10 min walk. The staff were all very welcoming and spoke really excellent English. The hotel is a beautiful house, well adapted to give all the modern facilities you would expect. The overall feel is light and airy. It was clean in both the room and public areas. The breakfast is excellent with cooked and continental both provided. I was intrigued the first night as they were setting up a charcoal fire pit for dinner service. Tables were highly booked but they found a table and I had a great dinner. The bar at the front is a pleasant location to wait for others or just watch the world go by. The bar and restaurant prices are the same as the other bars and restaurants around the corner. So with a great location, super building and excellent staff I would definitely book again.

The staff, in particular Louise and Sarah. Louise offered so much assistance before we actually got to the hotel, in respect to arranging a Hennessy Cognac tour, and also the secure parking at their sister hotel (a two minute walk from Heritage hotel) so important for us as we were travelling back to the UK and wanted peace of mind for our belongings. Rooms were lovely and modern (not very big) but very adequate, with a lovely bathroom and shower. The room was so quiet at night too. It was in a great central location and Cognac has a great vibe to the town. The Hennesy tour is fabulous and just a 10 minute walk from the hotel (make sure you go on the English speaking tour) we didn’t and wish we had, but it was still great. In the evening we ate at the hotel and both enjoyed the sea bass. Breakfast was plentiful in the morning, and we would definitely return to the Heritage hotel when passing this way. Central location in Cognac within minutes of good restaurants. The decor in the hotel really set it off well. The reception staff were helpful and friendly.

Very little. But it was unfortunate that the fire alarm woke us at 2.30 am and it was a false alarm, which we found out after dressing and going downstairs.

Nice location in the heart of pedestrian district. Lovely and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Had a decent meal in the restaurant.

Accessibility by car is challenging, and long term free parking is some distance away. (Warning: google maps directions are impossible to follow due to unexpected barriers.)

Elevators stop at mid stairs and stairs are steep for elderly. We parked at the nearby parking for the night. Next morning,our car was so full of bird shif and leaves we had to go right away to the car wash.

Excellent breakfast, comfortable room, perfect location for a weekend trip. The hotel is located in the center of Cognac and therefore close to restaurant, shops, sights etc. Staff was extremely helpful, everything was taken care of. I felt very welcomed and safe.

Hotel was absolutely lovely in a great location. We had a room to the front of the hotel but as the area is quite anyway there was no noise. Breakfast was very good also. I would highly recommend this hotel and Cognac town itself.

The location was great, walkable to the sites all around the village of Cognac, close to cute cafes and shops. Very comfortable bed, and friendly staff. Loved this historical feel of the building with the modern amenities like AC and an updated bathroom.

The breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast buffet, recommend getting a coffee from one of the nearby cafes instead.

Great location. Easy walk to bars, cafes and shops. easy to find with lots of parking nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff, We will visit again on our next trip to Cognac
