Very close proximity to the city center, a minute away from Place de la Brèche. Reasonably priced for the location. Conveniently furnished apartment with bathroom (sink, toilette, shower with toiletries) and small kitchenette (microwave, small electrical stove, mini fridge, cutlery). WiFi and TV set available in the bedroom. Very friendly staff. Late arrival was smoothless with an entry code (digicode) and a safe (with your room key inside) provided upfront. Secured car park available at 200m from the hotel (parking Marcel Paul). A 6euros/day parking card can be acquired at the reception.

Moderate sound proofing of the rooms so you could still hear neighbouring snoring occupants or loud TV program for instance. But reasonably decent insulation though.

They are exceptionally helpful. We've stayed here about 5 times now and we can't fault them. They are polite, helpful, attentive, reception is open 24hrs and on this most recent visit we were indebted to them because they allowed us to park our huge van - full of furniture we were moving to France to a new home - outside their reception for the night. This van was a worry to me, so I can't thank them enough for being so obliging. Apart from this, they are very central to Niort, which is a lovely city, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfy and not like boards(!) and kitchen utensils are always clean. Big bathrooms too. Overall, they offer an excellent and really personal service.

Absolutely nothing to complain about.

This is the second time I/we have stayed here and I think it's excellent value for money. A standard double room is quite spacious, the bathrooms are generous, the bed is comfy, there is a drop-off area right in front of the hotel and a lift just inside the doors so you don't have to haul heavy luggage very far. The Reception staff have always been welcoming, and I'd definitely stay there again. The kitchen area is all you need for a short stay. Also, great credit to the hotel, although they don't have air -con (much needed in this heatwave) they do have fans in the bedrooms and the windows open fully to allow any evening cool air inside. They also opened the windows of the corridors to let in the cooler air too. Not much to fault for a studio/bedroom in this price range .

Almost nothing! If they had air-con I'd have given them 10/10. The only smaller issue was that there were kids running around late in the evening slamming bedroom doors at 10.30pm. Not the hotel's fault but I was glad the bedroom had double doors.

Beautiful apartment, with 2 balconies. We were traveling as a family after quite a long time in France making our way back to Calais. This apartment was exactly what we didn't know we needed. Big comfortable beds with good quality linen. The apartment was spotless. Had a huge bathroom. Super fast wifi and TVs that Chromecast. It meant we could relax after we had been around the city and take time out from rushing. It was a gem of an apartment.

It was hard to find initially. I thought the satnav was wrong but it was under an archway on the correct street.

Close to the city center (just near). Spacious rooms with basic needs of an apartment, flexible reception on our late arrival, option to park a car (upon payment) app. 3 minutes walk form the hotel, the next day we had a free luggage keeping late (after 13:00).

The temperature at the end of June were already high, so an AC would be great, especially for rooms at the top floor. There were some ventilators in the rooms on the top floor ... but the rooms were just overheated

we worked our way up from the Pyrenees and found this hotel in Niort perfect for a family of 5 and we were surprised of the room you get 1 double bed 2 singles big bathroom with bath and 2 balcony views perfect for one night and could easily stop for more nights the kitchen area was a added bonus aswell and having a microwave fridge freezer and cooker really helped very welcoming on reception and couldn’t do enough to help Niort is a very lovely town and plenty of shops and restaurants on the front to eat at

The location of the property is excellent and very close to all the amenities of Niort (bars/restaurants/shops etc.). The room was clean and well equipped and, as we were travelling with 2 dogs, the location of our room on the ground floor with doors opening on to a small courtyard was excellent. It was also very nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy a drink in the evening and coffee in the morning. We found the staff very helpful and who also spoke very good English (thanks as my French is poor).

We have found that beds in French hotels tend to be quite firm and this was no exception. We tend to prefer a slightly softer mattress but the bed was not uncomfortable.

Walking distance central position rooms not big but everything you need compliments to ever designed appartments the breakfast was a bonus

We had room 1707 which for some reason seemed a fair bit of banging and scraping noises coming from the above appartment

The lady at reception was extremely knowledgeable, polite, friendly and helpful. There was a disabled parking space outside the front door so my wife did not have to walk far. There was a good choice of restaurants within very easy walking distance. All the facilities we needed were available within the room. The choice of items for breakfast was extremely good. Outside the room was a small private patio with table and chairs. Ideal for relaxing after our long drive

There was a long hair on the shower wall

Location was perfect for where we needed to be. It was right in the centre of Niort and in walking distance of loads of great places to eat. It was slightly small for 4 people (only a 2 person table in the kitchen) but at the end of the day it was fine for us. The balcony was a lovely place to sit in the evening.

An extra fan would have been very welcomed!
