There is little not to like from this hotel. We spent two days and, because of a severe snowstorm, much of it was inside the hotel. It was very cozy, people were friendly and facilities very good. Breakfast (and the chef that explained everything for us) was amazing.

Cant think of something we did not like

One of few modern approaches when it comes down to sustainability and ease of access to equipment provided. I can't promote more than a review that TV had exposed HDMI port, all other deprecated hotels should learn from this one, such a simple commodity is top notch in my eyes. With additional tips such as turning off tap water while you are brushing your teeth reeks of care for the environment. The receptionist was lovely and made us feel welcome on arrival. We did not expect comfort in such a remote place, yet we got it. Also it was quite quiet, no door slamming of other guests could have heard.

The parking lot could have markings of some sort, everybody park as they fit and not always properly.

From the moment we arrived in Honningsvag we knew it would be an amazing place to visit. The reasons we were there were twofold. To visit Nordkapp and a place to stay before we joined our cruise. We chose the Scandic Bryggen and from the moment we arrived we were very pleasantly impressed. The staff are all so cheerful and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. They dont try to push or upsell anything. Any questions were answered in depth and with no bias towards the property which seems to be getting rarer these days. The room was spacious with all the expected amenities. The only thing missing was a kettle. We later learned that they were available on request at the reception. The bed was lovely and comfortable. The bathroom was very smart with underfloor heating. The view was fantastic. I honestly can't find a negative word about the room. Breakfast was simply delicious. A wide choice of cooked and cold food. Sweets and bread. I have seen many reviews recommending the breakfast and I must also join them in my high praise. Also if as us you have to check out before breakfast you will receive a very generous breakfast box. Just make sure you preorder this when you check in. I cant not praise the Scandic Bryggen enough. From our first to last moment with them it was a pleasure for us.

To be honest there only thing I could find fault with is the fact there is no kettle in the room but in hindsight coffee and hot drinks are offered in the reception free of charge. Maybe it's an eco move to reduce use of electricity. On our final evening the drinks machine had issues and we were immediately given a kettle. Absolutely no other negatives. A fantastic stay at a fantastic hotel. Thank you Scandic Bryggen. We shall return one day.

I really enjoyed my stay at Scandic Bryggen. The hotel is located right in the harbour, a view of which we could also enjoy through a huge window in our room. The room was very nicely furnished, with a comfy armchair and a bed with big pillows and a warm duvet. The personnel was very friendly too - they helped us to prepare breakfast boxes when we needed to leave early in the morning for a ferry. The hotel is managed in a sustainable way and I could definitely feel it - a big plus from me!

There is nothing to complain about, but a kettle would be handy, to enjoy the nice view with a cup of tea in hands :)

Very comfortable room with a view of rooftops and hills. Excellent breakfast with a variety of hot and cold options. Free parking close to the hotel (get parking permit from Reception). Free charger for electric cars (the one we used didn't work, but there was a fast charger near the hotel, so not a problem). Very nice staff on reception.

Very clean room, superb view from the eindow and tasy, filling breakfast. They offer opportunity to assemble lunch box from breakfast food and price for that is very reasonable. For us it was very good deal.

Nice view from our room. Hotel has a lovely lobby and nice dining room (which sadly is closed for lunch and dinner). Room was adequate and bed was comfortable. Plenty of outlets. Breakfast is included and was good. Very, Very expensive for what you get, but I guess that is because it is close to Nordkapp. 1

The location is as close to the Center of this small town as you can get. The staff is friendly and most of the rooms seem to have some kind of view to the harbour. Breakfast also quite nice. Restaurant was closed, but there are other options nearby

A comfortable, good-quality stay in the center of the small Norwegian fisher town of Honningsvåg in Nordkapp. Surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful sceneries of the island and easy access to the North Cape by car or even public transport. The room and the service were good as you would expect from a Scandic location. Also the breakfast was excellent as per usual Scandic standards.

The price of the room at least at the time of our particular stay was quite high compared to what the same level of accomodation would typically be, probably due to it being more or less during a tourist season.

New did last min booking and weren’t disappointed . It’s basic nice neat and clean . Breakfast is basic and good . They have a table next to the window which is the best to sit and enjoy water view with breakfast .

There is no view from the room but it’s a nice and small property
