Location location cleanliness

Disruptive guest ,guest smoking pot which is illegal by the pool and off balcony with vapors flowing upward so my 10 yr old could not sit outside little long us on the balcony we paid for an enjoy the ocean view!!!!! Notified guest services nothing done int happened 3 days in row!!

We always enjoy our time on Daytona Beach and The Days Inn is our hotel of choice. The rooms are always very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, Eddy at the front desk is awesome, pool and deck comfortable and great to be on the beachfront. I'm sure that we'll be back in the near future.

Our only issue during this stay was the lack of beach access. The steps from the hotel pool deck to the beach were destroyed in Hurricane Milton and left us high and dry. Although this was an inconvenience, we're well aware that it was not something that could be fixed within a short time frame. Hopefully they'll work to get replacement steps built for their customers very soon, as beach access is extremely important.

Very large room with a small bathroom. We were on the top floor (7th) and had a wonderful view of the beach and sea. Good pool area but there were civil engineers repairing part of the patio area.

There was nowhere to wal to around the property all "good" restaurents needed a car to reach. A lot of heavy engineering noise from the patio repair. Standing on the beach and looking back athte hotels all you could see was building work/repairs, as far as the eyes could see.

Beachfront room had an excellent view to the ocean and far enough from the people traffic at the pool. The housekeeping staff were friendly and provided us with extra tissues when requested. The front desk personnel were receptive when we complained of hammering going on in room next to us. The front desk promised to reduce the noise of repair and during a certain time. The pool area was good with sufficient chairs to sit in and the pool was warm when the air was cold.

The room looked as though there might be some mold on some points in the ceiling and was just painted over. We smelled marijuana when sitting on the balcony from other guests smoking on their balcony.

We had an issue with booking.com on our way there but Ms. Sherri had us fixed before before we arrived. We were on thr 5th floor above the pool. Beautiful views. Beds were super comfy. Housekeeping were phenomenal. We didn't have then clean our room except the bathroom the days we were there. But they came everyday and asked what we needed. They replaced our towels and tissue everyday we asked. We used the aid laundry twice and didn't have issues with any of the machines or waiting. The location from the hotel to the beach was great. Out the door, by the pool, down the steps right on the beach. The hot tub is under renovation. The pool was great the 2 times we were able to use it. The weather was dreary all except one day, so we lounged in the room. If you park in the lower parking lot, there is an entrance there super close to the elevator. Also, they have a waterhose, window cleaner, and a free vacuum for use. The ice machine is also on that level by the pool, vending machines and laundry. We would stay here again!!! Is it a 5 star boutique? No. Is it comfortable with a great location and phenomenal staff? Absolutely!!!!!!

Weed! If you're sensitive, as soon as you smell it close your balcony door. It's not only the hotel, it was the boardwalk, on the street, everywhere.

The main advantage of this hotel is its location and closeness to the water. This was the main criteria of my choice and my expectations here were fully met. I turned off the air conditioner at night, opened the balcony door ajar and fell asleep to the sound of the ocean - unforgettable! Another thing: you don't need a lounger at the beach: you can lie on it for free by the pool and enjoy the ocean view - less than hundred feet in front of you - and go for a swim (beach towels are for free, btw).

Since the whole beach area is public, expect a lot of vacationers' cars during some days. They even have a kind of lane along the beach line (the beach line is really wide). Most of them leave by 2PM, though. Since the hotel itself is pretty old, I would advice them to do some renovation (to replace a balcony window, to install a newer shower mixer and add a long hose to it), add - even though everything in the room is in a operational and clean.

Easy to find. Amazing ocean view. Underground parking so the car wasn’t on fire every time we got in. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. Eddy was so awesome! He knew where to get amazing crab legs and gave me a free appetizer card. The pool was perfect for the kids. We loved the patio looking at the pool and ocean. It was incredible to wake up, open the slider and enjoy the sun and ocean sounds. Hurricane Milton destroyed the beach access stairs, but judging by where they should have been, direct beach access will be incredible once they’re replaced.

Our room had a bit of a damp smell, but I’m not sure if that’s just a Florida thing.

it was quite and got some sleep

Did not like was that the beds are small for two people needs to be little bigger for people that move a lot and that if it two people that have cars only one person per room can park where does the other car have to park luck there was a nice person that let us park there for two day and car was save I come from far for someone to tow my car or one of my family car and that the swimming pool close early cuz I love the pool but don't like when lots of people are there I love me time or family time with us at anytime of swimming or just relaxing enjoying the air and stars

Very clean room and comfortable beds. Staff was very friendly with a “Good Morning” every day. Housekeeping staff was very courteous and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back to stay again. Coffee was made fresh and always available. The pool was clean as was the area around it. Joe at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly. Check in and check out was very quick and easy.

If I had to point out something I didn’t like, it would be my hope that the spa area would be completed soon. Also the visitor up stairs would smoke a lot on the balcony (not sure if smoking on the balconies is allowed) and we could smell it on our balcony and sometimes in our room.

We loved this hotel. We could be on the beach within minutes and it was in a calmer part of town for going out at dinner time. Easy beach and pool access were a big deal this trip and this hotel delivered! Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful the entire stay. The beds were comfy, the hotel room had a full size fridge and small kitchen area with a stove and microwave. Perfect for a longer stay

The only complaints we had were that the hotel is pretty dated (aesthetically), the parking lots are tight and hard to turn out of (line of sight blocked on turning out), and lastly the floors by the pool get slippery where there are no rugs. Also, if we were staying longer, I wish there had been more counter space for meal prepping.
