The hotel is excellent, spacious and clean room, right on the river within a 2minute walk to the ferry and river boats at pier 10. Directly opposite the grand palace, with Wat Pho and Wat Arun within easy walking distance too. The attached restaurant, coffee shop and two bars were great, riverside with plenty of seating for those relaxing river views. The staff were very helpful and eager to help with any enquiries. There is a complimentary tuk tuk service to the main road, because taxis can’t really get to the door, but the easiest way is to get the taxi to pier 10 and walk down the alleyway through that end of the Wang Lang market, which is right on the doorstep.

I loved this hotel, stayed for a week. Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, quality bedding. I had an issue with one room and they immediately gave me a new one. Rooftop and ground floor restaurant have an amazing view of the river, temples and palace. The Wanglang market right outside makes the location picturesque, it was fun going out in the morning and trying different things for breakfast. It’s just a 2min walk to the Prannok pier, boat orange line takes you to main attractions like watpo etc, traffic free! Favorite hotel in Bangkok out of 3 I tried. They were also very nice and kept my big bag for a few days as I traveled around. Would 100% come back!

It wasn’t an issue for me but be aware that the Wanglang market opens very early and closes at around 5-7pm. Cars can’t reach the front door in this period. Hotel offers a 24h tuktuk shuttle to the main street, so no big deal. And it is also possible to walk, it’s only 2min. When I needed a grab I would usually walk towards the pier and get a grab there. Easy peasy.

The employees are exceptional professionals, they exceed my expectations, they made my stay to be much more pleasant. Congratulations for all of them.

Riverside location in the old town, in the market, 10-mins from the blue line overground is outstanding. Difficult to drive the last 100-yards so if you come by car, get out at the Wat and let your taxi driver away. We were greeted like old friends and every query was answered with enthusiasm and courtesy. The staff saw we were travel weary and got our rooms ready early. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with mist showers and international plugs - great attention to detail. The decor is tasteful and the rooftop bar is a gem, only made a bit annoying by Instagrammers, who just don't know when to stop taking pictures of things, each other, their drinks and food - just stop guys and enjoy your actual life! We don't need to be looked after, it often feels uncomfortable, but these guys understand how to to customer service without it being awkward. Don't go there and ruin it, if you are part of the 'western' hotel set. We didn't want to leave :-)

No pool, being ultra picky. That's all!

Thr River View room had the most spectacular view of the river, I absolutely loved it and loved sitting on my balcony watching traffic on the river. The room was big and nice too. Nice restaurants and cafes in the hotel + plenty of choices for food in the streets just outside the hotel.

The noise. There is traffic on the river almost 24/7 and on top of that live music down at the cafe until midnight. And no soundproofing whatsoever. Earplugs are a must. There is a ferry across to the otherside running quite late (maybe until 21 o'clockish), but other than that the riverboat service stops around sunset. That takes a bit of planning with your schedules if you don't want to use taxi/Grab.

My stay was simply perfect. The welcome was warm and the attention to detail, such as the souvenir photo under the Christmas tree, made the experience even more special. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The hotel's location is strategic. Imagine waking up in the morning, having breakfast with a view of the river and boarding a traditional boat to reach Wat Pho or Wat Arun. In a few minutes you will be surrounded by the beauty of this ancient temple and you can admire the reclining Buddha. Afterwards, you can continue to the magnificent Grand Palace, a masterpiece of Thai architecture. The hotel's strategic location will allow you to live an unforgettable experience. The restaurant on the second floor offers delicious cuisine, both for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooftop terrace is the ideal place to relax and admire the breathtaking views of the river. Overall, my stay was an unforgettable experience. The hotel exceeded all my expectations and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Bangkok.

Loved that it's in the middle of a market where locals actually shop and eat, 2minute walk from the n10 & wanglang port, making Wat Arun, Grand Palace, IconSiam, etc accessible via boat while avoiding the busy road traffic. Even if the roads leading to the hotel are very narrow, the staff are very helpful and they even have complimentary tuktuks to take you to nearby spots. They even helped talk to the Grab and Bolt riders whenever we booked a ride or ordered food. Cleanliness-wise, I cannot complain about anything, this is among my top priorities as we are traveling with small kids. Facilities are also well maintained. I would love to stay here again before flying out next week but they're fully booked already. I hope to be back when I visit BKK again. Thip and Arm are extra warm and nice! 🤗

If you're traveling with kids, found the staircase quite unsafe as there's a part where the railings are quite far apart. I hope the bar served drinks later than 11pm... but at least they have allowed me to stay to admire the serene view of Chaophraya river on one night I decided to come up.

Superb riverside hotel with 4 bars and cafes facing the water for optimal views. Steps from a large (very local) market and the ferry pier - no need to bother with Bangkok traffic. Breakfast was varied if a little limited, and better value than the bar prices (predictably). Staff were fabulous throughout, with lots of smiles and advice, and rooms simple but clean and functional for short stays. Low season rates made this ultra-affordable. NB- regarding the post from Mark (UAE) recently: please keep protecting your guests from vapers!

We chose this hotel because of its proximity via the river to the local must- see temples- if this isn't on your list, it won't be a convenient location. Car access isn't easy. Half a point deducted for the room not being made up in time for our return at 1pm on one day.

Upon arrival at the hotel, my family and I were greeted with a warm welcome. Great hospitality by the hotel staffs - the luggages that we had left at the hotel to go sightseeing were already nicely kept in our hotel room by the time we checked into the hotel. Rooms were kept clean throughout our stay at the hotel. Great location as well, if you're looking for a stay by the river (Talk about how convenient it is to go to places via the boat!). All in all, it was wonderful and pleasant!

Beautiful hotel in Bangkok! The room itself was great, the staff was friendly, and the view of the river was lovely! Being on the pier and able to catch the river boat was convenient, and the Wang Lang Market was very fun to walk through the heart of. Quiet area away from the major hustle and bustle of the city center and the food and drinks at the on-site bars were yummy!

The only drawback of being on the opposite side of the river is that the boats stop running around 7pm and there isn't much to do near the hotel at night. We never had a problem getting a Grab car in the evenings to take us back, but just be aware that your public transport options are limited at night!
