The property is amazing, the room we stayed in was exceptional, we have never seen such a more perfect room/ suit, we had an enormous room with a king size bed and a single with a seating area and desk fire place bathroom and another separate bedroom with 2 single beds in, tv, coffee and tea making facilities spotlessly clean, the amenities was the best we’ve seen restaurant bar swimming pool, I have no words that could explain this hotel it has to be seen, I would highly recommend this hotel and will be staying again but for longer

Lovely tradition property in a quiet location. Full of charm, albeit a little run down in places. The restaurant was amazing as previously mentioned in other reviews.

Our bedrooms were in what seemed to be converted stables to the main building. Quaint and a lovely idea however these buildings had no windows so felt a little dark and stuffy, especially in the warm summer months. We always travel with a fan- this was very much needed! The extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t seem to do anything!

Beautiful green surroundings with a lake and some animals. Cute pool. Beautiful authentic French building. Very friendly and helpful staff. Recommend eating at the restaurant there and have breakfast at the hotel.

Damp smell in the room we had. Was a room on the ground floor with two doors, no window. Though part of the charm being in an authentic and old French building. Pool smaller than expected compared to the photos online, but big enough for kids to play. To small for lane swimming.

A charming hotel with landscaped gardens. A convenient location - just a short drive to most sites. The staff were excellent - both hotel and restaurant. The food in the restaurant is exceptionally good but it isn't open every night. The rooms vary in size. On both our stays we had rooms with sloping ceilings - tricky at times but full of character.

The bathrooms don't have walk-in showers and can be difficult to access if you have mobility issues.

Lovely little hotel, very friendly staff, nice little pool and pretty gardens with a pond. It was near the road but felt peaceful.

We booked to eat in the restaurant but after 45 minutes we hadn't had an order taken, been offered drinks, given water or bread. Maybe the food was good but our party was too hungry to wait with no obvious prospect of being served.

Bedrooms were very large and reception initially gave us a room in the top of the hotel and it was very hot - without asking they asked us if we wanted to move which was very good service. The room we then went to was even bigger. This property is excellent value and has a good restaurant with it as well. Breakfast was plentiful and priced well.

Good location. Very comfortable bed. Fabrastic restaurant for evening menu ..despite some tiredness in the venue was very impressive in terms of bed and restaurant.

The size of the room was amazing and perfect for our family of five. The location was great. We had a fab stay. Only thing a negative for us was the restaurant was too expensive for us to have dinner so had to go into town.

The scenery, architecture, courtyard and pool were lovely. Only 15 minutes drive into the centre of Saumur and plenty of local entertainment. Very high quality restaurant.

Breakfast choices were limited. Difficult to cool the room adequately in a heatwave. No walkable village or town.

great staff - good location and it's handy to have the restaurant on site, the food there was really good.

better indication when you drive in on where the guest parking is. it just would enhance the experience a little bit - was not quite sure where the main entrance was.
