Great stay at the Chateau! The location is fantastic close to a small town if you feel like leaving the grounds. We stayed in an annexe room with terrace which was lovely. Pool was great, towels super fluffy and comfy beds!

Finding reception can be tricky (tip: Stop at the ‘visitors entrance’ and checkin at reception in the main building before parking at the ‘main entrance’ - otherwise it’s a bit of a walk!) Make sure you book the restaurant for dinner, we missed out during our stay as they were fully booked, we managed to have lunch there though. Also, if the restaurant is fully booked they can’t do room service so just plan ahead Air con isn’t super cold, but it’s enough to get by on 35+ degree days

Beautiful park and superb pool. The rooms were nice though not luxurious. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is conveniently located near Sommieres.

The main problem is the access and circulations within the hotel. Very weird. The access road ends into a residential area which is rather shabby - not adequate for a hotel of this class. Internal circulations are strange. Our room was next to a workshop in which workers were fixing stuff during the day, etc we tried to have lunch at 1pm and were told it was too late in a not too pleasant manner.

I have stayed before and the property is spectacular. Lovely pool. Good accommodation. Set in a beautiful setting. Reception staff and massage staff lovely and very helpful.

This stay the waiting staff and cleaning not so good. The mirror had children hand prints from last guest not cleaned in two days. 30cm cobweb both days. Bins not emptied. Requesting desert menu never came and we abandoned this. The property is fantastic and from time to time there are staff changes so am sure this was maybe an isolated time and next year would be better.

We stayed in the annexe which had very poor sound proofing especially in our room which had a connecting door to another room. It is quite a walk from the annexe to the hotel for restaurant, swimming pool etc. The hotel appears deserted at times. When we arrived we couldn't find the reception and there was nobody to ask! The bar at the swmming pool had no staff so if you wanted a drink a trip to the hotel was necessary.

A beautiful chateau with the most breathtaking views from the bedroom of the Languedoc countryside. Our room was nicely decorated with a wonderful ensuite bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was divine. Breakfast out on the terrace in the morning was good and very relaxing.

Dinner in the evening, which we had booked well in advance, was a bit disappointing. We were told that everyone was having the same menu, there wasn't a choice, and this wasn't written down for us to view. The next day we discovered the menu was 70 euros per person. The food was good and there was a lovely live jazz band, but it would have been nice to have a choice and clarity on cost.

lovely château beautifully kept and decorated with fabulous grounds and loads of potential. Rooms well excellent and well catered. Breakfast was good. Desert was excellent.

While the service at dinner was good and the surroundings are very nice the food should be better and have more choice.The man who checked us in on arrival was under pressure with a group of people arriving and ignored us for quite a while even though we had arrived before the group. After he returned from dealing with them he still ignored us for a long time . I found his attitude very poor but would blame a lack of training on this.It appeared that a lot of the staff ,while very pleasant,had no idea what they should be doing and needed some leadership and direction.It’s a pity as the surroundings are so nice and have such potential.

Amazing property and gardens. We stayed in the Annex building, which gave a lesser "castle" experience, so I would recommend to book a room in the castle itself. The Gardens and outside premises are amazing.

The annex building has "inside" doors as entrance doors to the rooms, so when there's sound in the hallyway, it can be heard in the room. We also had a connecting room, so sounds from the other rooms, like an alarm are easily heard.

The chateau dates back to the late 1100s and its medieval style is unlike that of the Renaissance which most people think of when they hear the word chateau.. The grounds are spectacular. The rooms are beautiful and large with outstanding bathrooms. The staff is superb and the hotel restaurant is absolutely wonderful.

Signage is absolutely non-existent in a hotel where you can't find the entrance or reception, and the few signs are confusing. Guests need several minutes to find out where to enter and where the reception is. When we finally arrived, other people also called because no one could find the reception.

This might have been my favorite spot I stayed in France. Not necessarily for the room but the property grounds, they are incredible. 15 hectares of gardens, fields, pool, paths- it was truly magical. It really felt like staying in a castle, with such beautiful care taken of the grounds. I enjoyed a stroll in the evening around the property and was in awe. Pool is great as well! Restaurant is good, not the best I’ve eaten but great for your stay to have convenient food thoughtfully prepared. Bedding was ok, but other than that room was more than comfortable and had controlled air. Would recommend this spot hands down!

Wi-Fi can be a bit tricky in different parts of property but worked relatively ok in main spots.
