The place was lovely. The room was small but perfectly formed. I have reduced mobility and unfortunately the ground floor room was abeedy reserved. In communication with Annette Isaid I would cope for I night.. Annette was extemely helpful and caried my carerbag upstairs theiiithe moring asked what thames would be leaving then came+ took my stuff back down stairs. very friendly lady. Breakfast was included and was very nice. Would definitely . stay again

Excellent transit accommodation in a beautiful house with 2 gardens and plenty of flowers. Annette is one of the best host we ever met, kind and helpful. She offered her garage for parking our car. The room was good with 2 single beds, private modern and well equiped bathroom, small refrigerator, microwave, kettle. We did not check the wifi, we had ours. The breakfast was very good, with coffee, tea, pastries, bread, butter, jam, cheese, orange juice and milk. Thank you Annette, we'll come again.

Clean, warm and comfortable. The pool and hot tub was a welcome bonus after being on the motorcycle’s all day. Comfortable single beds and a nice continental breakfast set us up nicely for another days riding. Annette was friendly and accommodating when moving her own car from the garage to ensure our 2 motorbikes were secured overnight.

Everything. Annette was the perfect hostess. She couldn't have done more for us. Secure garage parking for our motorbikes. Lovely garden, swimming pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was excellent. If we could give it a much higher rating we would. Lovely village with a choice of eateries and bars. We would definitely return.

Annette couldn't have been more accommodating. I had booked two rooms, without realising that the family room had plenty of space for me, my mum and three dogs :), so Annette allowed me to cancel the second room on arrival and removed the cancellation charge! Very kind of her and much appreciated. We also had to leave early in the morning so Annette got up early specially to ensure we had breakfast. I was only sad we weren't able to stay longer to enjoy it properly but we had a Eurotunnel train to catch. Would definitely stay again as only an hour from the train and fantastic for people travelling with dogs.

Host was very welcoming and spoke good English. Room had garden view and was comfortable and big enough for a single person. It had a good shower, toilet and hand basin. a small fridge and microwave but adequate. Breakfast was good with fresh rolls, ham and cheese etc and choice of tea or coffee. There was also a downstairs room at my disposal for cooking and eating in. There was an pool in the garden with a cover that would suit several people.

A drain smell coming from either the shower or sink that was a bit off putting at night.

Breakfast was great, room was lovely clean and spacious, Annette is an incredibly thoughtful host. There is a covered swimming pool but we didn’t use it as we were only staying for one night on our way home.

Well located for the motorway & only 50 minutes from Calais. Nice room lovely gardens good breakfast. Short walk to town & retail park 5 minutes drive

Annette was very kind and helpful. She went to great lengths to ensure our stay was comfortable.

Although my room had an en suite bathroom, the other bathroom was very small and the toilet area cramped.

Annette is a truly charming hostess - supported ably by Ruby🐕. The accommodation is in a nice rural town with good free on-street parking; Annete kindly offered her garage. Her garden is a lovely place to picnic and offers a well equipped kitchen. Breakfast was lovely and generous. Easy access to the motorway. We were only using as an overnight travelling stop but could happily spend a few days there. A very good find! Thank you Annette.
