The property was extremely clean and the pool was very well maintained. We didn’t use the pool but the water was crystal clear and those using it seem to be enjoying themselves. Property is located a block away from a great coffee shop and Kelly’s Irish Pub both walking distance.

We stayed upstairs in room 202 and my only complaint was there was a banging noise each morning that we just couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. Being menopausal and unable to sleep well it doesn’t take make to keep me from getting back to sleep so the banging was annoying for me but typical my husband slept right right through it🤨

I took my parents because I live out of state. My parents are both disable, so I truly appreciate that they held a first floor room, handicap, accessible room and even locked it until we checked in. The staff even informed us that we could park closer to accommodate my parents disabilities. With much gratitude, this meant a lot and made our trip special. Thank you so much.

It is new and clean. I know we can get breakfast elsewhere, but it something to consider would be continental breakfast or coffee makers in the rooms. Having a handicap shower would also be helpful because the tub was high for my parents and hard for my disabled parents to get into.

I really enjoyed that this is a new place at such an affordable rate! The entire facility including the rooms were very clean and smelled fresh! Updated design and easy access to the Main Street was great, too.

This place would’ve received a 10 from me but there were some slight hiccups. The towels were extraordinarily rough, there is a person or persons who use the leaf blower a little early which is disruptive for those who are vacationing and would like to sleep in. Additionally, no onsite laundry which caused us to have to find a laundromat. Also, a family member did make a comment that the pillows smelled stored and unwashed but I didn’t have any issues.

Had a great experience with family and the facility look excellent. Rooms clean and pool was great. Super close to the beach access as well. Rooms smelled great they are definitely keeping up with the facility. Had a amazing rest loved it. Will definitely come again.

The only thing I didn’t like was that we had to pay $35 for a extra parking since we had rented a golf cart to travel around SPI. They literally had no other vehicles and their was so much room to park. Totally unnecessary for the extra charge.

The cleanliness of the room was top notch. Even the pool was exceptionally clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was right off of Padre Blvd, which was excellent. The value is amazing.

We couldn't figure out how to get the microwave and fridge to work. We didn't address this issue with the staff, because we didn't really need to use them, but I'm sure they would have done something to remedy the situation.

The staff we met (Jose and Brenda) were extremely friendly and engaging. I was really most pleased with room temperature (ac) in the stifling Texas heat. And even though our room was literally a few feet from a very active pool, the room was extremely quiet, I presume they have to be almost soundproof. Everything was great. There is no coffee in the rooms (knew that when booked), quite understandable with current issue of covid and having to keep rooms disinfected, but no problem as coffee was available in the lobby. Would most definitely stay there again and recommend to all.

minor issues: would have liked bedside table on both sides (only on one side) as a place to put glasses, iPad, etc., when settling down for sleep. also, table lamps. only light was directly above bed and single switch on one side, inconvenient for person on other side. also, the ceiling light interfered with TV (glare). None of theses issues would prevent me from staying there again.

Location was awesome,near beach , restaurants and gas stations. Very clean rooms and great staff. The room smell great. Rooms have tile and no carpet, that hold bad smells. No smoking, vaping in rooms allowed

The first room we got didn't have a microwave and was really far from handicap parking (which I had requested a room near handicap parking) but the second day a different worker got us a room next to it oh and there was a day that the hotel didn't have water and that it would be back by 4 it was already 730 and still no water we couldn't shower or use the restroom so our plans for that night were ruined but other than that hotel is good

The place is new. The room is small. The double beds are full-size, not queen-size. TV did not connect to cable but connected to streaming apps. We mainly use the room to rest and bath. The lodge is about two blocks from beach access 21 which is very convenient. We just walked over and the beach umbrella and chair rentals are right there. There was enough space for parking. The front desk staff was friendly. We do not use the pool but it looked fine.

Specific amenities could be better. Towels are tiny and rough. I recommend bringing your own towels, body soap, and shampoo even though they provide some. Families got very noisy when using the pool. Our room was right next to it. A child cried/screamed nonstop for half an hour around 9 pm and no one went to check what was happening. From our window, the child appeared safe with a parent but just would not stop crying hysterically.
