The beautiful manicured gardens, farm & facilities with a stunning backdrop. The endless amount of things do to, from cellar tours, to bread baking, to farm cycles, kayaking, eating the local produce in the restaurants and cafes, spa treatments and admiring the wildlife. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, nothing was ever too much and made you feel at home, everyone knew your name and made you feel truly welcome and part of the farm which was such a special experience. We would love so much to return some day.

Nothing! Everything was outstanding

The appointment of the rooms and attention to detail of Babylonstoren is amazing and it was a superb two night stay. The concept of farm to table is phenomenal. Spectacular gardens and mountain drive with amazing views.

The offer for breakfast was a wonderful selection. However when it came to the hot breakfast there was not enough attention paid to serving it timeously once cooked. The eggs were overcooked which was extremely disappointing in a hotel of this standard. We chose the pork for dinner at Babel which was dry so a bit of a disappointment as it was my birthday dinner.

Facilities here were amazing , there were so many things to do as the property was huge. Beds were comfortable, room was clean and I love the fire place in the room, felt so nice during winter time.

Maybe you can offer more varieties of breakfast like french toast, pancakes or more warm crisp pastries to add more value to the hotel that is already almost perfect 10? and please provide lots of bubble wraps as we need then to wrap olive oil or balsamic vinegar to put in the luggage for long flight.

Everything about this place is amazing. This was definitely a splurge for us but it was worth it. The property is beautiful, the pool, jacuzzi and sauna are very nice, the rooms are very comfortable and the staff is very polite. Would definitely recommend you stay here if you can afford it.

This is nitpicking but would have liked to make the dough as part of the bread making workshop. The 15 min shaping the bread felt a bit underwhelming but loved that we got to take the bread home. It was delicious.

Stunning location, lots to see and do, amazing food & drink, and extremely good staff. Could not recommend this place enough, we will 100% stay again! The biggest selling point is the location, truly unique!

Service at breakfast and in Babel for dinner was very hit and miss, felt like they we were waiting for / looking for staff to order, and waiting for food took a long time. Felt like they were understaffed perhaps. I wouldnt normally notice this but given this is a 5 star hotel you'd expect better dinner/breakfast service. This was the only disappointing thing during our stay as everything else was perfect! Would still highly recommend!

Firstly, the staff (especially Warren & Constance) who are extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. Secondly, the food is amazing and most importantly all from local produce. The accommodation and facilities are unpretentious and first-class. Loved everything about this stay and wished to have stayed 1-2 days longer.

Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Absolutely gorgeous estate. Lots of things to do that are included in the price of the accommodation except for the Spa. The farm to table is impressive and the fact that you have the freshest produce within the estate is mind blowing. The restaurants are very good too with extremely friendly staffs. In addition, I also enjoyed the wine cellar, garden and mountain drive tours.

None!

The Farmhouse Suites were truly wonderful with the spa on site to warm up in after walks out through the farm. The staff and first hand experiences such as making our own body scrub after picking the herbs for essential oil and the up close feeling to nature with all our senses stimulated was exceptional. I particularly loved the open fires and having a fire in our room and the lounge area, such a treat and the hand cut herbs for the bath...

Beautiful garden. Nice spa area. Good service. Sunglasses got lost, but staff found them and returned them :-)

There were stains in the bedsheets which needed to get changed. Booked the suite and there was just a TV (no Netflix.) and no Bluetooth speaker (even when I asked for it at the reception) Price is quite high, but I would book it again!

The Property is so special that it is unnecessary to leave it. We only had three nights but our days were filled with exploring the property, gardens, winery, farm and other facilities. It is truly special

Its difficult to find fault, a bit challenging in the rain, but the staff and facilities overcome any downside.
