The accommodation was absolutely lovely. A quaint walled village with friendly locals. The building itself was old and very interesting, with an 1800s staircase! Beautiful antique furniture. So much history inside and out. The village had a museum, which was heart breaking. Throughout the village and ruins, there was information boards detailing all the suffering that had gone before. The whole experience was awesome. A fabulous find. With eateries and bar. Staying in this beautiful building was like living a locals life, sorry we had a deadline and only had 1 night.

If my knees were playing up as they sometimes do- the stairs would have been a problem. BUT THEY WEREN'T!!!

Good location, short distance to surrounding villages.Quiet room and location. Hair detergent and soap in the bathroom. The room was not hot and there is a cooler in the room. The host Max was really friendly and helpful. It was the 70th birthday of a former resident in the village and we were invited. Food and drink were good. Max was involved in organizing the whole event. If you had any questions, Max always answered very quickly.

The breakfast was really small. Coffee, fruit, sweet pastries, cookies and some breadcrumbs, nothing salty. We bought bread, yogurt and cheese and paprika on top of the bread. It could have been mentioned that, Breakfast is Italian. It came as a surprise even though we are in Italy. However, it was our first time. The floor could have been swept while emptying the trash can. The wardrobe is really dangerous when you open the door, the whole wardrobe swings. There could be more than two hangers. The drawer in the dresser was dirty, someone kept shoes in them. Although we give this feedback, we don't complain. These were attention. 😊

The place is a beautifully refurbished old Palazzo, decorated with really good taste. The quiet surroundings were perfect. It's a really good choice to explore the area around (1h to Siena/ Firenze). The village is really small, there was no shop or restaurant opened. This did not bother us, we adored the unusual silence, but it's useful to know.

The Italian breakfast is full of sugar and carbs :)) Only cakes, fruits, biscuits. We bought our own stuff to keep in the fridge. But apparently this is what Italian breakfast means, so it did not bother us.

It's really delightful to have a chance to stay in an 18th-century building. The furniture and the interior decorations take you back to that time. Free parking right in front of the building in that small square. You have a coffee machine and an Italian breakfast to be taken in your room. Even though it's a small village, the surrounding views are stunning and you can find a few local places to eat. I definitely recommend it!

Nothing to be mentioned.

Everything was fabulous. The welcome was impeccable. The attention to detail was superb. The location is quite magical. The room has a combination of contemporary and historical which I really liked. And finally, I think it would be hard to find anywhere that gives such value for money. The only disappointment was having to leave! I hope to return to this area and be able to spend a little longer next time.

The host was very nice and helpful, we came late so we were able to get the keys from a box outside with a code. He left our italian sweet breakfast in advance, with juice boxes and fruits, there was a coffee machine, the view of the room was to the yard of the town. Bed was comfy, just a room a bit cold for an April in Italy. But in general perfect! Max, thank you!

A bit cold.

Everything was amazing. To spend a night in a castle was a dream. All little details giving the feeling of the past from furniture to cutlery.

There was a festival on a main square, and windows of the room facing that square. We couldn't sleep until after 1am.

Very good location in a pretty special location. The room was interesting on two levels , tastefully decorated. The view from the windows are amazing over the countryside. The owner very gentle and available for info and questions. The village is small but good restaurants to choose from.

WiFi is weak.

Great quiet location on the hill. Beautiful views from the room. A two-story room located in an old tenement house that exceeded our expectations. Atmospheric, clean, spacious but, above all, steeped in history. Additionally, breakfast is provided. Great contact with the host.

The location was great, a short drive to the surrounding villages and towns.

Breakfast could be improved. Very plain, no bread. Dry cake, biscuit, coffee, juice and marmalade.
