First and foremost I LOVED the staff. They were friendly, accommodating and the level of communication exceeded my expectations. Second thing would be location. Your by major landmarks, stores, restaurants, perfect for a late night stroll. It can’t be beat. Third thing, price. Considering the location and quality of the property (updated, clean, etc), it was affordable.

There was only thing I did not like and it was to no fault of the Spanish Suite. Being in a foreign country, I wasn’t comfortable with the Air BnB setup where you rent a room and have a common area for all to share. The corridors were well lit either and either though there are multiple codes you have to punch in to get through several doors, we couldn’t get the main door to latch. So let you imagination take you where it may (we did) and they moved us into a different building the following morning. And the rest of our stay we could relax and enjoy Rome.

Location cleanliness availability of staff 24 hrs

The key to the large door was an annoyance, had to play around with it in the keyhole till one opens. Also besides leaving luggage at reception, maybe a suite can be given past checkout. Also one of the matresses was over used. Extra bed could have been better. Flushing was not working one night although receptionist fixed it but more maintenance has to be done. Ideally kettle coffee tea milk in suite.

Great location, walking distance to all the buzz areas in Rome. The room was very nice and very clean. Comfy bed and very secure.

The room was noisy at night from the outside streets. This was the only detractor, and only a problem because we were early to bed and early to rise.

Perfect location, very friendly and helpful staff. You can reach main sightseeing places easily as most of them are in walking distance. The room was clean and it was orgaised on a daily basis, once back to our room we were finding it clean and organised. The only thing is I was expecting slightly bigger room, considering we were travelling with our toddler it was a bit tight. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and trip to Rome :)

breakfast is not located at the property so we had to go 300 yards for breakfast then back to the room to set out for the day- fine but should be made clear on booking. on Sunday delivered to the room but no choice. bathroom- needs a good clean. taps had scum around the tap fittings - easily taken off if cleaned properly (I did it easily). shower head needs a good clean. again simply done. concerned about the metal gate to enter steps in the corridor to flats as not sure how it would open if a fire happened- on a code. no keys fitted. but of a concern.

We greatly enjoyed our stay - the location is very convenient and centrally located making it easy to walk (our preference) to most of attractions. The staff was terrific, very friendly with some great restaurant recommendations, and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Especially appreciated as we were celebrating our anniversary.

Clean, secure and very central to both Metro and sights of Rome. Walking distance to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Parthenon etc Our rooms were next to Performing Arts School so we were serenaded most days.

Wrongly sold to us. It was portrayed as hotel rooms but it was 1 unit seperated into 3 units. We were a party of 2 couples and had unit 1 & 3. The walls were paper thin so had some other couple been in Unit 2 it would have been noisy.

Spacious, clean, quiet and modern room, great secure location, friendly staff, a walking distance to most of the attractions that Rome has to offer and it’s close to lots of cafes, restaurants, trattorias, shops and supermarkets.

It would be good to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

The staff were amazing. So courteous, helpful and informative.

It was mid/late June when we traveled and the AC seemed to struggle a little bit at times to keep the room cool so that we could comfortably relax and sleep after a day out in the heat. Also, the shower door was very narrow - if you are even slightly over average body size or larger, you won't even fit through the door. So bathing, outside of sponge baths, is out of the question.

This was my third time to stay in The Spanish Suite. I plan to stay again next year. This is a very clean and comfortable hotel. The location is unbeatable.

Location and cleanliness. The room is very spacious.
