Well even tho people in the comments area were annoyed by the bar noise, I only had one night on Saturday if I'm not wrong. The rest of the weak not any problem. The noise wasn't that bad. Is near to the train station by walking distance, many restaurants around. Near to the gondola station too The room was really big, the bed was comfortable, room temperature was nice, toilets and showers really clean.

Should have a contactless terminal to pay the taxes in the entrance area. With cash for foreigners it could be annoying trying to get coins.

Very comfortable beds. Close to the old centre and the station.

There is a club downstairs and the music was so loud that the floor was vibrating to the rhythm. The entire building appeared to be moving somehow.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Checking in and out was an easy self service process, and the staff explained everything clearly ahead of time. The location was convenient, close to the train station, and has many food options around that open late. The area felt safe to walk in the night. Overall, this is a nice place for people looking for a night to stay before they catch the Glacier or Bernina express.

The shower was difficult to use. You have to press the valve every two minutes to get water out, and the water never gets warm enough for me to take a shower in the winter. Also, the mattress is not flat, I felt like laying down on a conveyer belt.

Check in was easy and the instruction given to retrieve my keys were given well in advance and we're easy to follow. Nice sized room and very clean. Communal shower/bathroom was also clean. Had access to British TV stations through the TV which was great. Beds were comfortable and room came with a large fan. All in all I had a very nice stay at VIVA Hostel.

Only 2 spare plug sockets in the room. With having the fan plugged in that only left 1 socket free. Since the room was a triple room, if there were 3 people staying in it at one time the lack of plug sockets could be an issue.

Easy walk from train station, check in was smooth without drama, rooms clean and quite large opening onto a common area which on our third floor had a table and chairs and board games. Right next door practically to the chair lift, and a few cafes with in a short walk for cheap (Swiss cheap) meals.

There were limited towels and no soap in the shower… and the timer on the shower was ridiculously short.

Central location, friendly and well equipped hostal. Had separate bike store which was great. Despite outward appearance the hostal was well decorated and we had a comfortable room. Shared bathroom was clean and close to room. Access instructions clear and easy.

Signage at front could be more visible so easier to find. Very busy road in front of hostal, need to take care with trucks and buses very close to pavement.

It's a beautiful hostel, feels decorated with love. Very clean, very close to everything. I arrived on Sunday, and I guess it was slow because no one else was staying (so I had the dorm room to myself, which was great), but that was good.

Not sure if there are lockers or not, but not a problem because I had the dorm and floor to myself! Many of the electrical outlets were broken.

Very good location near to the station and the old town. It's much nicer inside than it looks on the outside. Facilities were very clean. The room was very big and warm. Remote check in with key card worked fine for us, tho we did meet people who had struggled with that system. Very quiet, even tho plenty of people staying the night we were there.

It would have been nice to have access to a kitchen, or even just a kettle. Although it didn't affect us, I think the fact that on some nights the attached nightclub is open till 3.00am should be made clearer.

I stay in 18 person room, but we were only 4 person's there, so it was definitely comfortable. I don't know how it is in a high season. Beds comfortable, clean bathrooms, sockets near bad.

It would be nice to have small kitchen korner with Kettle and some items for preparing sandwich. Also for such a big room would be great to have some lamps near bed.

We booked the single room for 4. Room and general facilities were very clean. Shared bathroom and shower facilities were very clean. Location was very good; old town within walking distance.

The provide room did not have A/C however they did provide a fan. The central shared areas did have A/C so you had to leave the door open to cool down the room or open the window for ventilation.
