The bed was very comfortable, staff were all great. Yousef and the other male colleague were very attentive at the front desk / answered all our questions. Great location, really close to the subway/eateries/bars. Shower was a good size and powerful. Would stay here again!

Charges seemed sporadic, we didn't realize the first night would be taken first, then deposit, then the remaining balance of the room rate. This could be due to booking through booking.com so would advise booking directly which may contain more information regarding this. However, the front desk staff explained this after our queries.

Yusuf was a real professional from the start of our stay until we left. Super accommodating and always happy to help. Hotel is located within a great neighbourhood. Mainly Latinos so it helps to know a little Spanish when you walk into the delis or cafes of which there are so many available. A large laundromat sits right across the street so you can wash all your dirty clothes before you leave. Only 3 blocks away from the 36th subway station which connects you to the rest of New York. A B35 bus stops right outside the hotel if you’d like to visit East Flatbush. The room came stacked with extra towels and enough toilet roll to last our entire stay. Iron and ironing board available in the room so you can press your garments and look your best before stepping out into Brooklyn.

The hotel was clean and the bed very comfortable. Rooms were small but on par with other places in NYC. Close to subway and lots of good choices for food in the neighborhood.

We were in Brooklyn for a wedding. Family and friends occupied at least 10 rooms, but there was no place for us to sit and visit. The dining area was unused most of the day, but staff would not let us sit there. The lobby was about a 10ft by 10 ft area with one couch. The place would have been fine for a business trip or individual weekend, but not good for a group.

Very confortable place in Brooklyn quite near subway station (36th street - both express and local trains). The room is not big but well planned and disigned. In fact enough space for falimly of 3. Very clean, comfortable beds, nice bathroom and (!!!!) great window with fantastic view of Manhattan Skyline (room 703 on 7th floor). Also very quiet with no traffic noise. Friendly staff. Didn't eat breakfast so no comments but use coffee machine in the room every day - it's fine!

You have to wait a bit for the hot water in the shower - not a big issue but just don't rush in until checking as I did once :-)

Modern, clean, comfortable hotel with a great price-quality ratio. Room cleaned every day, with towels replaced whenever necessary. Excellent location, with very close access to the 36 St metro station and about 30 minutes from Times Square. We went with two children (1 and 5 years old) and we were well accommodated with a cot. There are some restaurants and shops nearby, ideal to satisfy any needs.

Employees, despite being friendly, created little empathy. Expensive breakfast for the available offering

The rooms are clean and the design is nice; i love the headboards that extends up the wall and across the ceiling. One rater described them as futuristic and I would agree; I've never saw one this shape and it was also like a reptile type of texture to it. It has a great location for many of things in walking distance- we walked to Saks off Fifth in less than 20 minutes. Anything u want to eat or shop is in walking distance. The community is safe and people were friendly as we were out walking and exploring the Sunset Park area of Brooklyn. Ubers arrived pretty quickly to this location. It's a nice touch to have food on location though we didn't utilize their services. We got stuck in NY due to weather and this place was the best bargain yet was far from a budget looking hotel. Plenty of towels and toiletries and the cleaning staff kept things tidy. Nice strong shower and a beautiful view from the window. Plenty of channel options on thw TV if u want to stay in. I was able to extend my checkout 2 hrs with no extra fee, last minute, and i truly appreciate that. Booking never steers me wrong- there were no hidden fees at checkout. I will definitely be back if in the NY area. I think the location is very smart

The air had to be reset but that was a quick fix and the shower had a tad of a slow drain BUT i didn't inform them about it until check out so i am 100% sure if i would have told them prior, they would have fixed it on the double. Very hospitable! Only typed this part to be transparent (because they ask) but there are NO complaints!

The hotel staff was amazing. Kind, friendly and always there to help. The hotel was clean all around. Youcef who works at the front desk was brilliant. One of the best Front desk clerks I have ever met. I do travel a lot so to have that experience was amazing I will be back at that hotel. Thank you, Youcef and the amazing team, at Wyndham Garden Brooklyn Sunset Park Hotel in New York.

I don't have any complaint

The hotel decor was very inviting, modern and light. The room was immaculate. Breakfast costs extra but is well worth it. Kudos to the kitchen staff! I felt safe in the hotel, access in the night time from the street requires hotel card. Night front desk staffer on duty. All staffers I interacted with were most helpful, and very welcoming. Special thanks to Ermel, Mae and Josh!

I cannot think of a thing I did not like about this hotel

I had interactions with four different staff members and they were all so nice, professional, and helpful. That was really what made my stay. The lobby and breakfast area are pretty nice. Breakfast also looked decent. I like that the room had tile and not carpet and the hotel was pretty quiet even though I was off the lobby, which was a surprise. Great pillows. Great cable selection. I'm so happy that this hotel is in Sunset Park. The area needs more nice hotels!

I probably had, I assume, one of the lower-end rooms in the hotel on the basement floor below the lobby, and it wasn't that bad. It smelled like cigarette smoke when I checked in, but the next day I asked them to ventilate it, and they did, and it was much better. The room needed paint and was a tiny bit grimy, but the decor is pretty cute and modern. The walls had stains, and the shower tile was possibly a bit old. Grout coming off, or maybe just a ton of buildup. The room felt mostly clean but not really clean. A few grimy areas around the toilet and corners of the room.

The hotel is small but very cozy, and the staff is very friendly, with making an effort to help. The hotel is also conveniently located close to the subway, where you can catch both local and express trains.

I didn’t notice anything particularly negative.
