Good-sized room, spacious for one person. Bathroom amenities were good -- rain shower with good water pressure and responsive heating, toiletries provided. Wifi and aircon also working well. Free washing machine/dryer (washing powder provided!) available on the first floor. Central location, Hotel itself is located right outside Taipei Main Station exit Z10. 7-11 is just across the road and many eateries are within walking distance. Ximending and the famous Ruyi taiyang bing store are also within a 10min walk too. Note: If you are arriving via Taoyuan Airport MRT, it is actually nearer to walk above ground (<5min walk from the Airport MRT station building). If you try to walk via the underground malls (which is a gigantic maze), you will have to walk one big round to the Taipei Metro main station first before you can reach the Z10 exit.

The bed and pillows were a bit hard for me, but otherwise fine. The place is called 日野苑 instead of HINOEN Hotel on Googlemaps, which makes it hard to find and also makes it look suspicious to English-speakers. But don't worry, it's a legit hotel!

Hotel was a short and convenient 5-min walk from Taipei Main Station (Airport Express). Ground floor facilities include a toilet, water dispenser (hot and cold water), as well as washing machines and dryers (and even washing detergent powder!). Lobby area also has free coffee (machine) and other items such as combs/shower cap (on request). You may also keep your luggage at the front desk/lobby area if you arrive early (before 3pm check-in) or have a later flight (after 12pm check-out). Our double room (one tier above classic) was spacious and well-furnished (boiler, shower gel, shampoo, etc.). Items were mostly replenished daily and room was tidied up as well. When we encountered inconsiderate neighbors who smoked in their room (smoke entered the vent of our room), hotel staff was swift and helpful in going room-to-room to check.

Nothing to be honest.

Great location, useful as a travel base. Our Deluxe Triple Room was spacious, clean, and beds were comfortable. Toilet was huge, with separate shower and bathtub. Friendly staffs. Toiletries were available for free at the front desk, take what you need concept. Free use of laundry (including detergent) and dryer machines, and water dispenser. Room was reasonably quiet for a good night sleep despite in a high road traffic area. No sewage smell in the toilet, unlike most of the other nearby hotels we had stayed in.

Despite the spacious room, there was no wardrobe. Only a clothe stand was provided, which was grossly insufficient. Table was too small for dinning, only big enough as a "work table". And only 1 chair. The other was a lounge chair. No luggage stand, open your luggage on the floor. Since there was no wardrobe, there was no storage space; we had to "live" from our luggage. No in-house restaurant, but paid breakfast available as pre-order (set menu) delivered next morning at a predetermined time. We did not eat their breakfast because of the inconvenience, and partly because there were many breakfast shops nearby.

My husband and I absolutely love this hotel! Upon arriving in Taipei for the first time, we found it very easy to locate—just a straightforward journey from the airport, a quick MRT ride, and a short walk from the station. The location is excellent. The staff are exceptionally friendly and always ready to help. The room itself is impressively clean. Despite being situated on a main street, it remains surprisingly quiet. This allowed us both to sleep soundly and work or study in the room without any disturbances

There were only a few minor issues. The windows in our room were quite small, which limited the natural light. Additionally, the washing machine in the laundry downstairs could use some maintenance.

- It was spacious, modern decor, and the bathroom was surprisingly large for a budget hotel. - Extremely clean room with just the right amount of furniture. - Staff was very courteous and tried to answer our queries promptly. - There’s an expresso machine in the lobby (no cream or sugar) for free morning coffee. - There’re 2 sets of fairly new washer/dryer (including detergent) for guests to use first free. - Lots of eateries and boba drink places within walking distance. - At least 3 massage places a buck or less away.

The towels were thin and threadbare.

The staff is the best part of our stay! Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially the gentleman during the day. I believe his name is Asakusa. He was so patient with my endless questions and helpful! The facility is clean and room is comfortable. The free laundry is a bonus. Location is also convenient and easily accessible to MRT, HSR and also airport rapid MRT.

The only thing is be careful when walking some streets during the night as there are many homeless people around the area, since the location is near Taipei Main Station. Overall still feel pretty safe.

The bed is very comfortable. It was clean (as far as I can tell). The staff is friendly and respectful. Hotel is located next to Taipei Main Station, so it’s convenient if you like to commute frequently. Powder detergent for laundry machines is free! The provided slippers were comfortable. The walls are surprisingly not that thin, so it was mostly quiet. You can only hear noise through the door and window.

The restroom on the 1st floor (for everyone to use), should be cleaned daily! It was very dirty..

My comments may or may not apply to all the rooms: 1) Shower water flowed out. Floor and floor towel became wet 😔 #505 2) Shower head no multi mode. I was hoping for a jet spray. 3) Shower warm water suddenly became cold. Can be frustrating trying to moderate the temperature. 4) occasional cigarette smoke came into the room #503, dunno how 5) shower halfway can feel cold draft. Cos glass door not fully closed, got gap

The location is great, the staff is courteous and helpful when we asked for directions. The free coffee provided is great for the cold weather. I do like the room which is brightly lit, the clean look of the bathroom

The floor is dusty which i felt there was no vacuuming. There was also a dead mosquito on the wash basin on the first day and it was still there on the last day which was the third day. The bed i feel is too small for 2 persons

The location makes it a great starting point to explore the city. We had been traveling for weeks and were down to our last pair of socks, so it was great to find that they had a laundry room - free of charge. Peppercake across the street is awesome, as well as Notch coffee. Very helpful and friendly staff on top of that. Clean rooms.

The bed is a bit hard, but we slept well. No breakfast in the house, but there are plenty of places around to pick up a riceball or dumplings in the morning. Don't expect a European continental breakfast.
