Aloha Lanta is about 10 min walk from the ferry pier and is in the town centre with all the amenities beside you . 7/11,restaurants and markets right beside you and you are looking out onto a lovely beach. This hotel is owned by a lovely family, Mum,Dad and son Peter snd it has such a lovely family atmosphere.

No facilities to lounge or relax - perhaps a sun chair or two to enjoy the beach would be good!

Accommodation is on excellent location for travel and tour excursions. In front of the hotel is a beautiful beach and during low tide you get long sand stroud to walk almost to neighbouring island or all the way around pillar houses. The hotel owner is kind and welcoming to all guest requests and help with booking tours or rentals for the best prices. Place dosenoffer breakfast or any tipe of food service but you can always just leave hotel and across street find amazing whole day open place for deliciousbites( also owner recomendatipn). All together this place is excellent value for money and one of our best accommodations on this holiday. We will definitely be back at Aloha Lanta..

Missed room cleaning service, I would like my sheets to be changed daily, but this can also be personal preference.

Staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. They arranged scooter hire, laundry, excursions and connections all in a helpful and friendly manner. It is clearly a family run hotel and you get the feel of being welcomed in. Value for money was excellent, the room was to exactly the standard to which we paid. Location is excellent - close enough to restaurants, bars and shops etc but whilst feeling slightly detached from the noise we had a peaceful night sleep each night we stayed. Also being right on the front of a quiet beach is lovely, with waterfront restaurants nearby also to enjoy

everything was fine and pleasant. good location - quiet for sleeping but still close near the shops and restaurants. It's directly on a beach but sometimes the tide is very high and the sandy part is covered up. but much of the time there is plenty of sand and you can walk a long way on the shore or choose to swim. Other beaches are not far and it's easy to hire a scooter and explore. I recommend this family-run hotel

We loved our stay at Aloha and wish we could have extended our trip by several more weeks! Without a doubt the two biggest draws are the amazing location and the wonderful family who runs the guesthouse. They were endlessly helpful and attentive to even the smallest details and needs. We will miss waking up each morning to a beautiful peaceful ocean view with nothing but the sounds of nature. Thank you and see you again!

It would be nice if there were some beach chairs available to sit by the water :)

If I could give a 20 I would. Wonderful small, family run hotel Spotlessly clean Comfortable, large rooms with balcony. Very friendly staff who were very helpful and kind No Kettle in the room but complimentary coffee/ tea station in the lobby. 3 minutes walk to main street of Salandan. Beautiful grassy area with palm trees out the front of the hotel right next to the beach. Very quiet beach and beautiful safe swimming area We swam every day for 5 days and only once was there someone else in the water with us. Definitely be back 💖🙏

Aloha Lanta exceeded all expectations! The highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking sea view from our room, making our stay truly unforgettable. Situated just steps away from the sea, the location couldn’t have been more perfect. As a family-owned business, there was a warmth and personal touch to every interaction. Peter’s exceptional attention to detail made our time in Koh Lanta truly special. His invaluable tips, assistance in booking tours, and securing reservations at restaurants at great prices truly enhanced our experience. Highly recommend for a memorable stay!

The location is quiet but within easy walking distance to restaurants, markets and tourist pier. The view ended up being one of my favorites on this trip. Sitting on the balcony, feeling the sea breeze and looking at all the colors of the water was my favorite. The room is basic but spotlessly clean. The bathrooms are well maintained with good hot water, a rarity in these parts for these prices. I must also mention how helpful the young man and his family that run the hotel were in securing tours and transfers. He is kind, honest and just wants the guests to have a good experience in his town.I'd consider it an excellent value stay and would absolutely book again.

Nothing, was great. You may have to walk up a couple flights to your room, so please keep in mind if you have mobility issues.

I stayed 4 nights, combined vacation and remote working. The hotel is located in a perfect location for me: walking distance to the pier to go onboard for diving trips, in a quite area overlooking a serene beach with fantastic sunset, and close to many restaurants. The room is very clean, and the bed is one of the most comfy ones I've used (I prefer harder mattresses). It's family owned, and the owners are super nice. They're there for you whenever needed, and never overselling any info. I feel very comfortable and safe there. Highly recommended!!!
