Lovely little hotel. Really nice room and great location - close to castle as well as main centre. We didn’t have a car so didn’t have to worry about parking, and was only a 15 min walk from the bus stop. Breakfast was nice with fresh pastries and bread each morning sat on the terrace, although we probably wouldn’t have paid for it if it wasn’t included. Staff were brilliant. Offered us recommendations for beaches and which we could walk to or would need the bus, as well as day trips we could do from Begur. All in all a lovely stay.

Doors to rooms are loud when they close - didn’t bother us but might if you’re a light sleeper/sleep early.

Historic building near the town centre. A quick walk up to the castle for amazing views. Great base for exploring the Costa Brava. Friendly staff and great breakfast! Room was clean and hotel is well kept. Check-in process was easy. We didn’t have any issues parking our car in the lot they recommended. It was free (we travelled mid May) and a just a short walk away. Highly recommend staying in a room with a terrace!

Room was smaller than we imagined but that’s on us, not the hotel. Great value for cost.

The property was spotless, peaceful, and conveniently located. However, for someone with knee issues or mobility challenges, the stairs leading from the parking lot to the entrance made access difficult for an older person with knee problems.

Breakfast was really good, the room was clean enough and location was excelent, very close to the city center and great restaurants

We had a problem with the reservation as we booked a room expecting it would be on the first floor instead of the ground floor but the staff were really nice and they changed us on the second night. Be careful when booking as the economy rooms are on the ground floor but only the ones next to the street, there are also two more rooms on the ground floor with access to the internal patio which are not considered as economy so if you want to be on a higher floor make sure to specify to the hotel

Great location, and amenities and breakfast were lovely. Really liked the common spaces as well, they were all beautiful and great for relaxing. Would definitely stay again!

There was a bit of a musty smell in the room when we first arrived, like maybe the room hadn't had a chance to air out since the last occupant, but I'm sure that just sometimes happens with old buildings.

- The room is small but really clean. We booked the room with a balcony, it was really nice. -The breafast was included, it's buffet style, there were lots of choices to eat! The staff would also prepare you tea or coffe depending what you want. -The staff was super friendly, they recommended us some good hikes around and good restaurants. -The housekeeping is neat and clean. - self-check in is easy.

It was all we could want: beautiful old building, friendly attentive service, a great location near the centre of town and only a 12 minute walk up to the castle … and then there’s the breakfast: FANTASTIC. Homemade preserves and cakes, big selection of meats and artisan cheeses, freshly made espresso coffee drinks, croissant.

I loved the design, the atmosphere, it’s location and the surroundings. The staff was excellent and this hotel felt like a home away from home. I had to work on my computer there and the library was perfect for that. Honest bar and how guests gets to be responsible gave me sense of belonging. I really fell in love with Cluc.

Everything was fine exept the fact that you can hear anything. So you need ear plugs if you want to sliep after 8 in the morning.

Hotel is charming and quirky, bed and breakfast, 12 rooms only. Breakfast was relaxed and we took it on the sheltered terrace, freshly prepared buffet. Location is excellent, couldn't be more central. Car access restricted in Begur. In tourist season car parks on the edge of the town centre generally charge (up to 20 euros for 24 hour parking) and are attended at all hours which is a bonus. Very friendly people running the hotel. It prides itself on being a quiet hotel and this is welcomed given the hustle and bustle of the town centre but is dependent on other residents being compliant! The building in its day would have been quite grand and has been sympathetically and simply designed to suit its current day use.

A couple coming back at about 2am unaware that closing the front door noisily and chatter can waken a sound sleeper.
