I love this place! I love the spa to enjoy all day. I love all the amenities. I love the fact you do not have to get in your car and drive to eat. All the restaurants on the grounds all have great food, from fine dining to casual foods. There is live music at some of the restaurants. Love Paddy's! We ate twice at the golf course. There are a few retail shops if you need anything from personal items to clothing and gifts. You can sit and relax in chairs and fire pits, hammocks placed throughout the property. A golf course if golf is your game. There is an outdoor pool to enjoy during the season. The winery and the wines are excellent. We sit for hours in front of the winery just talking and relaxing. I have no complaint. Even parking is easy peezy. This was our second time and we will visit again!

The property is beautiful and very well kept. There are onsite restaurants/bars, spa, winery. You don’t have to leave the resort if you don’t want to. The property also has shuttle service to get around which is very convenient.

The one thing we didn’t like was the fact that our room was not thoroughly and properly cleaned before check-in. We checked in a little after 4. The original room was not ready. However, after a short wait, the front desk/manager up graded our room. We get to the room and it was full of dog hair (pet friendly hotel). After expressing concerns the manager took half off the bill, pushed our check-out time to 4pm, and gave a complimentary bottle of wine and of course cleaned the room.

Such a beautiful location for a relaxing getaway! Absolutely loved hanging by the pool. It was beautiful and they waited on you with food and drinks. There are games outside like bocce ball, cricket, volley ball, ping pong, life size chess, and corn hole that were free. The bikes were fun too and no up charge! It was nice how many restaurants were on the grounds so you didn’t have to leave. The rooms were big and clean! I love how there were nooks you could find to chill on the first and second floors. Also, the hammocks around the property and in the vineyards were so nice to relax on!

You’re already pay so much a night plus a resort fee and most activities are an additional charge. And not just that, they are super expensive.

Everything was beautiful! The staff is exceptional!

I couldn’t keep up with time of facility opening, closings. The wine tasting ticket wasn’t exactly clear. I ended up forfeiting 3 of my tastings due to the winery closing at 6 on Sunday when it had closed at 8 on Saturday. I had planned to get my tastings after check out only to find out the winery doesn’t open until 12 on Monday! Very inconsistent!

There were charging stations for my electric vehicle that was super convenient. The facilities were beautiful and there was wine upon arrival. The hotel restaurant serves a great breakfast and the rooms were spacious and clean.

The cost. I don't think the price paid was equivalent to the quality of the stay.

The property was so nice. Quiet laid back place. The winery tour was very nice. I enjoyed my Birthday at the resort

We paid a lot of money for rooms only not to be accommodated with nothing. At least we should have got something other than a complimentary wine tour. Which me and my group had already purchase wine tasting tickets for $61

The grounds were absolutely beautiful. I loved all the lights located around the building. I love how all the restaurants are close enough for walking or you could take the lovely shuttle service. And oh my God the Spa absolutely divine.

The valet service definitely could have been better. they definitely were some morning staff that did not have the same happy and welcoming attitude like the other staffs on the grounds. That sometimes did not leave us with the a nice feel‘s. Especially the Sunday morning chef she was not very welcoming. I also expected when we called down for certain amenities like extra towels for soaps that the front desk usually would send someone up to assist you really right away and you just did not get that here.

Everyone at the Chateau was very nice and professional. The general manager was amazing, including the front desk folks and all the drivers. The restaurant staff was super nice as well.

What I didn't like was all the extra charges on the final bill, including a wine stating fee for $25, and that was irrelevant!!!! We had made reservations for the wine stating room and that was paid prior to our arrival. I also was not happy about all the extra holds they place on our credit card. When we arrived, they put a hold on the original fees plus extra holds for each day and then after that a hold again for other amounts!!!! that was not necessary.

I loved the scenery. The staff was excellent except for the one woman who worked behind the bar in the Atrium. Matisse who conducted our Sommelier and the bartender in Louis House of Bourbon who conducted our Mixology demonstration did an awesome job.

The sheets on the need holds heats, making it quite uncomfortable to sleep.

Chateau Elan does not offer daily housekeeping service and that was unacceptable to me - especially since they did not indicate that fact at check-in. The front desk people said that most folks don’t expect or want daily housekeeping. But I disagree - at such a beautifully maintained and desirable establishment folks DO want to return to their room with clean towels, beds made and trash emptied- the price one pays and the reputation of this hotel deserve a rightful expectation of the full service experience. Management needs to be in touch with their customers.
