Very friendly and helpful staff, they went out of their way to make us welcome, hotel is in a great location for the market and all the shops, bars, restaurants, and a short walk to the beaches. It is clean and the rooms have a good feel. A/C worked very well. Beach towels and a bag available, chilled water to top up our bottles, useful touches. The hotel restaurant (called La Gambette) and drinks area outside at the front of the hotel is a charming setting for light eats and drinks, all good value but nothing fancy. There are many great places to eat and drink in Biarritz, all minutes away from the hotel.

This kind of feels picky but none of this was a deal breaker. The beds perhaps not as comfy as one first thinks (the mattress a little too soft for our liking - but not a serious issue!), the duvet far too warm for the summer (we had to ask for a sheet) and the interior part of the restaurant/bar is not as characterful as it could be, and the menu was a little limited/didn't seem to change much. We ate there once - the situation is charming at the front of the hotel - but it was not our best meal in Biarritz.

I only stayed one night at this hotel because I extended my stay, and the original accommodation was unavailable. I wish I'd stayed longer, the hotel is full of lovely little details and everything is very thoughtfully designed. The bed is super comfortable, and I loved the in-room cosmetics. The staff are all quite young and super friendly and welcoming. The bar makes great cocktails and the food at the restaurant was excellent too! The location next to the Halles is perfect, easy walking distance to everything in Biarritz. They helped arrange a taxi to take me to the train station, and gave little farewell gifts. It's a super cute place, and quite calm and quiet despite it's very central location.

The location of the hotel is amazing, only a few steps away from the local produce market and just around the corner from the beach but on a quiet road, so there is not much noise. The staff were so friendly and helpful, I received a room upgrade which was a wonderful surprise. The bed was super comfortable! Best quality linen!As part of the stay you also received complimentary unlimited tea and coffee with croissants or pain au chocolat (of there were any left) and a welcome drink! I will definitely be staying again on my next trip to Biarritz!

That my stay was so short!

Location, and design were really nice. The staff were also really lovely. Some of the nicest i have encountered. A+ for the staff.

Our room was a little bit small. Normally this would not be an issue but, when in the bathroom, when sat on the toilet, one’s faces was almost pressed against the wall. I think a taller person would have struggled. There was also not a lot of furniture to store clothes.

really enjoyed my stay. All was perfect - the location, room was bigger than i expected. I even had a small balcony. Mattress was very comfortable. A lot of small pleasant details - card to greet, tea, chocolate. Stuff was very friendly. It’s also nice to have kettle in a room, even if you can grab a coffee or tea downstairs. Breakfast was great. Thank you for all. I felt care and attention.

1. No bathroom door! This was a bit crazy actually 2. We booked late in August so it wasn't cheap. They could have included breakfast 3. No parking so parked in public car park nearby which was really busy

Excellent central location, lovely room on the 2nd floor, very clean and comfortable with very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed drinks in the hotel bar on an enchanting little terrace.

The bathroom was a little small but perfectly clean and functional.

Perfect location with my room being just off the Main Street so it wasn’t too loud at night. Staff were so accommodating and the welcome drink and check-out chocolates were lovely touches.

The room was small and the bathroom is an arch rather than a door. Fine for me as a solo traveller but may be close quarters otherwise.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, also arranging a free room upgrade due to availability which was a lovey surprise. The room itself was very thoughtful - both practical and beautiful. After having stayed in various places in Biarritz, I look forward to staying here again soon and will be recommending to friends.

Being in the old part of town was fascinating to me coming from NZ where our country is 200 yrs old.the linen was fabulous as was the body wash in the shower.i took a video of the breakfast to show other hotels what they can aspire to as it was the best hotel breakfast I have ever had!
