Amazing design. Beautiful, comfortable and in my case extremely quiet rooms. Excellent kitchen and good breakfast. Breakfast service staff is top. Perfect location. Great place for business meetings too with a very nice meeting room and all the facilities one needs.

Nothing. What annoyed me a little is that I couldn’t reach anyone over the phone in 30 mins. Yes, there’s an announcement to leave a message or to write an email but that’s not what I wanted.

The hotel is beautifully restored and the interior design is exceptional. If you like modern contemporary design and great service this is it. There were great in room extras like a coffee machine and complimentary drinks in the minibar.

We booked room only as the breakfast was expensive 17 euros per person and were a family of four so seemed too much. We also ate in the restaurant one night which was a Michelin star restaurant but again although nice, not reflected in the price or choice on the menu especially as one person was vegan. There was use of the pool facilities at the pool nearby but we did not use it so cannot comment.

The location is fantastic, the hotel room and the hotel in general are very stylish. Also when traveling with a dog, the location is perfect as there is a park around the corner. The perfectly made up baby bed was a very nice welcome.

The room service menu had only 4 limited items on it. When traveling with a baby, you want to have the option to stay in the comfort of the room when possible. Last year we had a very nice room service meal options, but this time the options were limited. The room service charge of €10 is a little excessive. What we ordered eventually was of nice quality.

very interesting, upscale property. We had a two room suite at the top of the three story building. There were powered blackout shades that kept the room dark after sunrise, and the room was very quiet.

Disappointed that a room of this quality and cost would required payment for chocolate in the mini-bar.

The room was spacious and very comfortable, the parking was perfect, the location in Offenburg is great.

We ate in the restaurant on our last night, unfortunately my Fiancé was ill after dinner, we had eaten the same all day so we believe it was the Tuna steak which was served almost Raw, not rare.. but Raw. It was a shame but we really enjoyed every other part of our stay.

One of the best design hotels I have ever been to. Every detail is well thought, the room looks so stylish and comfortable. The restaurant deserves a try, even though it is more on the pricy side but the quality is worth it, just make sure you make a reservation (for dinners). Service was great as well, definitely recommend it.

We stayed for a weekend and it was perfect. The only downside is probably the location, there are not much things to do in the city, except if you are driving somewhere, as in our case we went to Europa Park which is 30min away, so we had some activities. Otherwise, the hotel itself is great, nothing to complain about, and since it has an amazing restaurant, you don't really need to go out much.

Breakfast was good. I stayed before also. Manu gets little confusing and would love to see more items on buffet table. Its very limited selection.

Music was very loud for a weekday stay during and after dinner

We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is very modern and the standard room we booked met our expectations. The room is not very large but everything you need is there and everything is high-standard. Excellent shower, good coffee machine and good beds. We did not have dinner in the hotel but did make use of breakfast which was good (you have to make a choice the evening before between several options). When the weather permits you can have drinks/breakfast/dinner outside. Staff was very friendly. Parking available in front of the hotel. Not the cheapest hotel but worth the money and I would book again.

This is a truly beautiful conversion of a former prison. The decor is tasteful and very contemporary and we’d definitely stay again

The attitude of our waitress at dinner - “how do you want your steak? Rare, medium or British?” Hard to tell through her mask if this was a joke or her sneering at us. Either way, it was an unnecessary comment. Also our request for a glass of dessert wine was met with a flat refusal as “we don’t have a bottle open”. Sorry but we can’t drink a bottle of dessert wine between 2 - again, same waitress. Waiting staff earlier that afternoon were lovely and we only had some beers on the very impressive terrace so maybe she was having an off day!

The design of the hotel is simply amazing. The hotel is a 19th century prison and fully renovated to 21st century standards. Staff is super friendly, food amazing with many vega choices. Breakfast is a must do!

The town isnt very special but the broader Black Forrest environment is beautiful.
