Fantastic location with lots to see and eat all around, beautiful hotel gardens and dipping pool, very clean room. Surprisingly wide variety of breakfast options for a little hotel, and all generous and delicious. Had to get on the laptop for a quick work call and wifi was strong and stable. Lovely breakfast bar setup next to the pool for those who need to work on the go. Arrived late at night and check-in was smooth and easy. Perfect, hospitable service all round.

The location is perfect and the villas are quiet. The price is equal value to what you get. The staff are very polite and the owners reside out the back of the property. This property has a pool and nothing like a cool dip after a hot day out in Ubud (a must). My room had two powerpoints in very unusual places that made it hard for the kettle and power charges to reach. The kettle is included but the cord is short. It's what makes life interesting. The breakfast is included but the menu is of balinese interpretations (small, enough for me) but food is cheap in the neighbourhood and there are plenty of other options. The facilities are clean and acceptable. The property was perfect with a Zen feel and quiet for lazy afternoons after a big day and all for an excellent value for the cost of the room.

I asked for two rooms with a large double bed but one was delivered with two singles. The double bed rolled into the middle. The lighting is very dim but I had this problem in other Ubud properties too.

My recent stay at Sataya House in Ubud was an absolute delight. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the smooth and easy check-in process. My room on the second floor was a haven of comfort, with a stunning view overlooking the plunge pool. The staff at Sataya House were the true highlight of my stay. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready to answer any questions I had. Putu Edsel and Gung Sastra deserve a special shoutout for their exceptional service. The location of Sataya House is simply perfect. Situated on one of Ubud's main streets, it's within easy walking distance of countless restaurants and shops. This made it incredibly convenient to explore the city and experience the vibrant local culture. The courtyard at Sataya House is a true gem. Lush greenery and a tranquil atmosphere make it the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. Overall, my experience at Sataya House was truly wonderful. The comfortable rooms, helpful staff, and fantastic location make it a top choice for anyone seeking a peaceful and convenient stay in Ubud. I highly recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

I stayed 3 days in this house, and it’s been the best stay experience I’ve had in Bali so far. The Balinese ambiance was incredible, the room spacious, the house spotlessly clean and the breakfast is yumms. The staff were super friendly and helpful—Agung (if I’m not mistaken). The location is also very strategic for me. I’m worried this place might just become my second home.

Everything was great, but perhaps the room door could be fix and the lock could be modernized a bit for added convenience. 💚

It's right next to a school or something with a lot of kids and musical instruments playing, so during the day there's quite a bit of noise, but nothing too bad. Overall highly recommended.

Large rooms, very clean, nice staff, quiet and relaxing.

The location is not accessible by car. We arrived with three kids and luggage and had no idea where to go. We had to walk about 5-7 min with all our stuff. The staff was willing to help, not sure what you would do if it was raining though. A photo and description of how to find it would be good.

The staff are very helpful and friendly and the owner family who live on the same premises always smiling and happy to have a chat. With the owner walking around the premises at night to make sure everything is good and secure I feel safe to stay here. Daily Breakfast is fantastic you get 6 different choices you can rotate and keep change options good if you stay many days. Out of the villa to the main street there's plenty of warungs to eat at and a big supermarket just 7mins walk down on the left hand. More shops for apparel and misc items turn right upon exit to main street.

My room didn't have windows so the air in the room can get stale. Have to open the doors to air the room.

We loved absolutely everything about our stay here. It is such a beautiful place, the location is fantastic, checkin was very easy, and the staff were so kind and attentive throughout. Our room was great and clean and the wifi was also perfect. We had a complimentary breakfast omelette with fruit and coffee every morning and it is honestly the best omelette we’ve ever had in our lives. The value for money you get here is beyond incredible. We’ve been in Bali for 3 weeks and this has been our favourite place to stay. If I’m ever back in Ubud, this is where I will stay again. TERIMA KASIIH!!! XXX

The staff were friendly, and the entire place was very clean. The pool was a nice addition and very accessible for all guests. The location was hard to beat, and this made life very easy. Breakfast was included in the room costs also and was a nice enjoyable meal.

My room was right at the rear of the facility and next to a school. There was therefore noise from the children at school early in the morning.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. They helped organise our airport pick up and let us check-in 4 hours early after our long overnight travel, which was amazing. The location is right in the middle of Ubud and everything is easily walkable from there. The gardens are so nice & the pool is clean and enticing. Would recommend to anyone stopping in Ubud

My girlfriend asked for no cheese in her breakfast omelette and it ended up having cheese in it (so I ate her breakfast as well). Maybe this in in the wrong section.... Anyway no biggie, thanks again!
