From the moment we arrived and met the very friendly and helpful manager( Katrina), we knew we would enjoy our stay. We chose the Reef Motor Inn because it was dog friendly and we were so impressed with our choice. A ground floor apartment overlooking the grassed area. Comfy bed and great shower with constant hot water. Small kitchen area with all the essentials. Plenty of parking. Excellent value for money. We would thoroughly recommend it to other people and would stay again when next in the area.

We stayed here as a stopover and it exceeded our expectations. The location and the facilities were great. Being pet friendly is what won us over as we had our cavoodle with us and the room accommodated us having our dog. We were on the ground floor and had access to nice big grass area right outside our room. The room itself had everything we needed. It was so spacious and the beds were very comfy. Staff at the front reception were so welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back!

This is now one of my all time favourite hotels, I usually don't like dated hotels as they are often run down. Yes, the reef adventurer is a bit older but it's so well maintained and extremely clean. The views are phenomenal and arguably one of the best in Tannum Sands, I don't think there is a higher building. The gardens, grass, pool, everything is beautifully maintained. The receptionist was very pleasant and friendly. For our family it was perfect, the kids slept like a dream and the kitchen came in handy. I can't rate it highly enough!!!

We were warmly welcomed by Karina at Reef Adventureland. Our room was spacious and in good shape and looked out over the swimming pool from a small patio area. The motel is within walking distance of several places to eat as well as a large supermarket We were very happy with our stay and would also like to mention Karina's efforts to return an item we left behind. She went well above and beyond!

Reef Adventure and Motor Inn provided myself and my partner with the cleanest property! After driving for 6 hours I wasn’t expecting much in the way of comfort and cleanliness, but I’m actually eating my words at how comfortable and clean the property was. The bed, pillows, sheets and the comforter were all so extremely clean and fresh.. Even when initially opening the room door there wasn’t any kind of musty smell and it was just so fresh. Well done team!! We will be back!

The property's location is brilliant - walking distance to cafes, restaurants, shops, etc. The (upstairs) room was spacious with the option of flow-through fresh air, had lovely ocean views, an oh-so comfy bed and pillows, the staff were welcoming and friendly, the car access and parking were excellent, and the whole property well maintained. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Tannum Sands!

We rarely stay in apartments / motel type accommodation, however this was a pleasant experience. We were given a choice of an upstairs or ground floor room - the person in the reception area was very friendly and helpful.

Perhaps a little more attention to cleaning, as it was dusty at the back of the air-conditioning unit above the double bed. However, on the whole the unit was clean and welcoming.

Great location 👌

The aircon was disgustingly filthy. I attempted to clean it before turning it on as my family and I have fallen very sick from dirty air-conditioning before. I did my best but it was the system itself (not the filters) that needed a deep clean. The master bed was super soft. We barely got any sleep as it was so uncomfortable.

I could not believe how lovely this place was! I was so in shock, I face timed my mum to show her how nice it was. Travelling with my fur baby, you never know really what you are going to get, however this place was so genuinely lovely to stop. The Manager was absolutely wonderful and I felt very safe, like a home away from home. I will absolutely be back many times!

Easy 5 minute walk to shopping centre, Cafe and pub. Rooms very spacious with excellent view of the ocean (upstairs rooms). Lovely pool area with a grassy common. On-site parking. Room was equipped with everything you need, including a kitchenette.

Only the people smoking, which is their right mind you, on the balcony's below and next to us.
