Colonial style property, very pleasant rooms, nice seating area although perhaps a little tired, A very nice touch was that staff put out jugs of water so that you could pop in during the day to refresh yourself even after checking out (if, like me, you had left luggage there).

Rather surprised there was no bar area: as a solo traveller I value a glass of wine in the evening, particularly when there is a pleasant terrace to sit on. I suppose they don’t have the demand, but I felt the lack!

The location is great!! Rooms (bed) very big and confi. Breakfast and coffee delicious. Pool is small but I was able to enjoy it a little big after the breakfast with no other people. Anyway you should be exploring beautiful Colonia and not sit at the pool :-)

One lady at the reception was a little awkward. It may be a language barrier. She was very strict. What time you are coming to breakfasts 8,9 or 10!?! No, you can’t stay at the pool area after you check out, you can only leave your suitcase. Anyhow I’d go back and recommend this hotel to my friends :-)

Perfect central location with easy walking access and distance to everything. The Hotel still holds its charm and character and rooms were large. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and provided information to our many questions.

No kitchen amenities or bar fridge in the room, would like to make tea, coffee or have cold drinks or snacks. The ferry arrives late and we had no access to obtaining any UA currency as ATMs close at 7pm, so we missed out on dinner or even a cup of tea the first night.

Lovely clean room in a good area of Colonia. Nice grounds and pool. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Good continental breakfast.

Our first night we had a couple next door who were really loud and you could hear absolutely everything word for word. The sound proofing is not good between rooms unfortunately so it’s just luck who you end up getting in the rooms around you.

The property is very cute and in a fantastic position in the town. Cecile and Martin and their young staff are super helpful and friendly, and will do everything they can to make your stay great. Breakfast is fresh with amazing little cakes.

Unfortunately, there is one member of staff , an older woman who lets the team down as she is not at all helpful and answers “No” to every request.

Great location, short stroll from old town and even closer to places to eat. Fool was lovely, great to cool off on a hot summers day. Friendly staff and a nice breakfast.

Bed was a bit old and soft. Okay for a couple of nights, but wouldn't like to have slept on it for longer than that.

We loved everything about this hotel. A fantastic location in the historic quarter. A lovely bright room. A great bathroom with a large shower. Everything was very clean. We loved the pool in the courtyard. A great selection of food for breakfast and the staff were absolutely lovely so friendly and helpful.

This a very comfortable hotel with a great location and a lot of character. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the included breakfast - so lovely to wake up and have coffee, pastry and fruit ready. We also liked the pool and sundeck - so relaxing!

The shower control was a bit stiff and challenging to operate.

Good hotel in a historic building. A generous breakfast was included and the dining space had a nice atmosphere. The location was perfect, in the historic district and walking distance from the bus/ ferry terminal. Comfortable room, though there was noise at times from the upstairs room.

Could use more sound-proofing; noise traveled, though fortunately it was quiet later at night.

The staff is wonderful. From our first communication they went out of their way to answer all my questions, give us the best room for our needs and provide us with any information we required. They recommended a great restaurant, advised us on taxis and welcomed us like family (as my mother had been their guest in the past). I couldn't recommend it more. A big plus in winter, the room was really warm with the AC and the shower had great water pressure.
