Flexible check in and very clean room The bathroom was very complete The swimming pool was stunning Location was excellent but a bit far from the night market (walking distance about 1 hour and half) but easier if you have a motorbike (just 20min) Nice variety breakfast options even for vegan people

The owner (woman) was very kind and exceptional but a bit invasive. I understand she needs to make money but she was continuously offering us tours to book, motorbikes to hire, and other services every time she saw us. Roughly three times a day which was a bit tiring and she even tried to come inside our room while we were there just to ask about booking the tours I would book again because the place was great and she was really nice as well but I believe it’s my responsibility to let everybody know about this because it can be too much for some people

I stayed for 1 week at Sands River and I felt like home. My room was very quiet and nice. The bed was super big and comfortable and the bathroom was super clean and comforable. Mrs Hien and his husband were super nice and helpful. Mrs Hien helped with everything I needed: to rent a scooter, to buy a simcard and also she cooked for me every night and brought my food to me bedroom. She was extremely kind and caring. The neighborhood was quiet and you could find mini markets and a market to buy fruits in the morning. The beach was super close (3 min walking) but I did not go. I felt truly like home.

It was a little far from the center of Hoi an. In my case the reason why I visited Hoi an this time was attending a training that was located 1 min from the hotel and my plan was not to visit the center. So for me, the distance between the hotel and the center was not a problem this time (20 min in Scooter).

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful villa. Hien is the best host you can imagine, always with her warm smile, ready to assist, excellent cook and housekeeper. The place is very clean and well managed. The location os close to the sea and Hien provides bicycles free of charge which can be used for an easy bike to Hoi An or other beaches nearby. The street where villa is located has a special cosy local vibe with a beautiful garden between villa and the river. We will carry best memories about this place in our hearts back home. We highly recommend to stay here. All the best to you and your family, Hien!!!

The AC in the room blows direcly to your back when you sleep which caused me damaged hand for couple of days. Otherwise, there is nothing else we did not like

Everything about this property is wonderful! Not only is it beautiful and peaceful, but it is exceptionally clean and comfortable. The bed in our room was ginormous and extremely comfy. Unlike some of our other stays, the water pressure and temperature in the shower was also fabulous. additionally, the property is nestled between the beach and the river. There is ample space to enjoy the breeze coming from the water and a cold beer in the afternoon in the garden. More so, Mrs Hien is a fantastic hostess, and truly makes this property outstanding. Her assistance with booking tours, arranging transport, providing delicious meals, and even negotiating with local taxi drivers to return lost mobile phones, is invaluable. Everything about our stay here was extremely relaxing and enjoyable.

The only thing to note about this property is that it is a 15 minute drive from Hoi An proper. However, this is easily overcome by the free bicycles, rentable scooters or a Grab car, and it is quite nice to escape the bustle.

We had a wonderful stay at Sands River. Before we even arrived we were contacted to ask if we needed transport. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and shown to our room which was spacious and perfect for our needs. Mrs Hien was able to take our laundry and offered to book any trips - we did the nearby coconut boats and she both booked our tickets and arranged transport for us. Breakfast is ordered each evening and served fresh the next morning at the time you like - I have been missing the pancakes ever since leaving. There are also bikes available for free hire which was a great extra for getting about, although the location is great for walking to the beach and restaurants for those preferring to stay closer. Huge thanks to Sands River, will return for sure.

Hien the hostess is one of the kindest, most helpful, warm and adorable lady you could hope to meet. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She organised mopeds, trips, massage and gave us recommendations for restaurants nearby. The property is a 5 minute walk from the beach and at the back we looked on to the river. It was lovely to have a pool there as it was very hot and nice to take a plunge after being in town. It is about 4.5km from the centre of Hoi An. We cycled there, took mopeds there and also it is very easy to get a Grab cab or grab bike. The beach nearby is quieter than the main beach in town and has nice seafood restaurants - I liked it particularly at the top end of the beach where there are volley ball nets. We loved going in to town to eat and shop and personally I didn't miss being closer. Thank you Hien x

It would have been good to have a place to sit inside at night to play cards as we tried to sit by the pool in the restaurant area but we got bitten! But having said that we didn't really mind and played cards in the afternoon instead by the pool. The bulb in our bedside light could have been brighter

We stayed at Sands River two nights and it was really really nice. The room was nice and big it was everything really clean and the service was perfect. For Breakfast we could chose everyday something new. It was really nice that we could use the bicycle for free. The Beach is 10 min to walk or 4 min by bicycle. Around the location there are nice and good restaurants and on the beach there is also the possibility to play beach volleyball with locals. It was definitely one of your favorites stay in Vietnam. I recently enjoyed staying at Sands River Villa Hoi An with my fiancée. I must say, from the moment I arrived until my departure, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with Hien Nguyen providing all the information about the villa facilities, amenities, and top sites to visit. My room was tastefully decorated, spacious, and impeccably clean. It had all the amenities one could ask for, including a comfortable bed, a mini fridge with water, a luxurious bathroom, and a stunning view of the pool/river behind the villa. The attention to detail was remarkable, and it was evident that Hien and her husband take great pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and comfort. The villa also offers various delicious food choices, catering to different dietary preferences. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the service provided by Hien was attentive and friendly. I also had the pleasure of having breakfast juices, which were refreshing and delicious. Regarding location, Sands River Villa Hoi An couldn't be more ideal. It is conveniently situated close to popular attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. The villa also provided free bicycles, which made exploring the beach hassle-free and convenient; 4 min walk from Cua Dai Beach and 15 min to An Bang Beach. Overall, I can confidently say that Sands River Villa Hoi An exceeded all my expectations. It is a shining example of genuine hospitality, where every detail is meticulously taken care of, and guests are made to feel like royalty. We have been traveling around SE Asia for three months now and this was probably one of the best places we’ve stayed. The owners are so helpful and friendly, food cooked fresh, location was peaceful, the views are beautiful and the pool is lovely. We booked all our activities and travel through Mrs Hien. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Our room was very spacious and overlooked the pool. The bed was very comfortable, the rooms were spotless and cleaned every day. Our hosts were very friendly and tried to help us in any way they could. The pool was great, being in the shade most of the time meant the pool water was refreshing. Limited breakfast but freshly cooked and very tasty. Location was excellent with only a short walk to beaches, good restaurants and the riverside.
