I admire so much the time and effort that people like these owners put into providing clean, comfortable, well presented accommodation, with everything you'd expect to find in a city motel, yet they are in such a remote area. They have to generate the electricity, pump the water and make it drinkable, provide the sewerage service and provide hot showers! The showers at Augathella Motel were great!

Well I'm sure they're working on the outside area.

The room was large, and the beds very comfortable. The room was clean, and there was not an overpowering smell of cleaner. Tea and coffee supplies and a toaster made breakfast easy. The shower was large, water pressure and temperature great. The local pub was a very short drive away and provided a great meal and friendly chat with the locals. Despite the proximity to the highway it was very quiet.

It was right on the highway so there was truck noise for a little while, and the exterior was a little concerning.

Modern facilities, very clean. Has a great modern shower and bathroom. The bed was great and the right firmness, not sagging like some places. Well equipped kitchenette and strong air con.

Nothing. Place was great. If you do stay in summer / hotter months, you will not require the hot tap in the shower :)

No breakfast was included however the whole unit was very clean and tidy including the bed. Can't complain about anything here. This is where we stay at least three times a year and that says it all. I highly recommend Augathella Motel and Caravan Park to everyone I know .

Was a much needed stop over for the night. Had been driving all day as on the way to Darwin. Bed was comfortable, shower was great and tea and coffee provided in room was great. The air conditioner was nice and cold and the staff very helpful. Was a good room with the thing's you need the most. It provided what I needed.

I can't really say there was anything I didn't like.

Renovation to modern and clean and well equipped.

Lacked outside appeal. A couple of tables out n the open with tree shade would be appealing. A fresh coat of paint outside too make a difference to how one feels. It’s really about cleanliness ( found 3 long dead cockroaches in the bathroom cupboards, plus a wipe over of the surfaces.

The location is perfect for anyone travelling from the North West towards Brisbane. we are regular guests as this stop makes our journey at lot more comfortable with kids and also some much needed sleep. The room had two bedrooms and was very pleasant and relaxing. the space is more than enough for the kids to move around.

minor issue is the internet. I’m not sure if they provide wifi as there is no wifi connection but obviously not an inconvenience to us as we would rather sleep and kids had their own devices to entertain themselves.

Well appointed, modern and clean room. Checking in at the adjacent Servo was seamless. Short walk to local pub with incredible meals was a highlight.

Noisy air con - had to turn it off. Lucky the weather was kind to us.

Looks were deceiving BUT it was the most comfortable bed I had slept in throughout our trip, room was very clean , tea and coffee facilities, shower was good and was pleased we actually stayed there, might not look good on outside but was a good stay

Never judge a book by its cover certainly applies in this case. Despite its lack of street appeal, the room was excellent. Really good size, one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in on this trip so far, nice hot shower good facilities. Some road noise, however it wasn’t a deal breaker.
