The tour desk guy from Manaus (I can't remember his name, Mike?) has been the most helpful hostel/hotel person in my -week trip and he is the only person who speaks good English. I move to the other hostel initially which touted the staff speak English and many good comments from foreign visitors. The other hostels is over rated and the lead staff who speak English is a bit rude. That one was way overpriced, barely any kitchen amenities and a proper place to sit and eat. The tables were taken by those seem to stay there long term and the long table top is uneven. There is also no matches to light up the stove. So it was a real surprise for me when I checked into THIS hostel. The breakfast was great with many choices. It is not that expensive. I really appreciate the tour desk who went beyond to explain, help me book the bus to my next destination! Many thanks.

Front Desk Operations: One area that could use improvement is the front desk staffing. Given that it's lightly staffed, guests might find themselves in long wait lines, even for straightforward inquiries. This can be a bit challenging, especially during peak check-in or check-out times. Facilities & Room Size: While the hotel boasts of a prime location and commendable service, it's worth noting that the facilities seem somewhat basic for the price point. Additionally, for those who value spacious accommodations, it's worth mentioning that the room sizes tend to be on the smaller side.

Room is simple but clean, bathroom was shared with one other room but was super clean and nice. Facilities were amazing. Pool table, ping pong table, breakfast, bar, pool, classes, travel advice, bus across street to go to falls.

Slightly far walk to go to downtown or bus station (if wanted to go to Paraguay)- unsure of night safety of walk, night restaurants in immediate area limited, although the neighbrorhood was very nice to walk around during day- so possibly could have gone back off the main streets

A large property with plenty of nooks and crannies and places to hang out, comfortable bed and pillow, big shout out to Richard at the front desk who went above and beyond to take care of my (simple) requests. Breakfast as a buffet was excellent with many options but when it was only choices from a pre-fixe menu, it was quite limited. The kitchen staff, however, were able to take care of my low-carb needs. Much appreciated, guys!

We had a single room with our own bathroom and it was quite large—same as publicized. Front desk staff were very helpful. The woman who handled our falls tour was exceptional. She also booked us a private car to our hotel in Argentina. Close to many restaurants.

Breakfast was ok, not a lot of choices. We had dinner at the lounge and it took an hour— the bartender warned us before he took our order. The Selina app was a waste of time since we still had to check in at the front desk and show our passports.

The downtown location is great, the staff are super helpful and friendly, the breakfast is nice, the facilities are good and there is a ticket office in the lobby where you can book tours.

Some of the fixtures and fittings were a bit loose, the shower took a little time to warm up and the lockers were too small for a large backpack, so security could have been an issue.

Very comfortable beds with good matresses. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Good to know: You can book several tours for a fair price (e.g. to the Argentinian side of the waterfalls) via the hotel (there is a counter in the lobby). Breakfast and dinner were delicious. There is also a good selection of restaurants nearby (tips: Patio Pomare for pizza and Best Acai for acai).

Our sink in the bathroom was broken (good: got repaired immediately) and the craftsman left the bathroom quite dirty. Nobody checked/cleaned afterwards.

The room was gorgeous, had a mini fridge and a swing seat, loads of room, a really nice bathroom and good air con. The hostel organises events like karaoke which is a rarity in this part of south america so we loved that. The food in the bar was lovely and healthy. The swimming pool looked nice though we didn't use it. Diego who organises the tours is super helpful - though it's better to talk to him in person when hes at the tour desk than over whatsapp! The bar is nice and overall it's a nice place to spend time.

The kitchen isnt very clean - this is mostly the guests' fault but the hostel should do more to enforce keeping it clean. A large hostel should have more people on the front desk for when it is busy.

Great hostel with many equipments, a bar, a pool and a good restaurant. Breakfast is awesome ! Staff was really welcoming, special shoutout to Eduardo and Richard ! Great spot if you wanna go to the falls, there is a a bus station (120) just in front of the hostel. Same bus to go the airport and same bus station if you wanna go to Argentina.

The bathroom of my room needs a little bit of refreshment but it was clean.

Locarion - easy for tour pick-ups. Ensuite bathroom was great with body wash and shanpoo included. Stores and plenty of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was good. Tour desk on-site was a plus.

I wasn't told about the group chat when I checkes in. The bar staff/bartender wasn't friendly both times I went so I stopped going all together. Even after meeting people there who wanted to go drinking we decided to go somewhere else.
