Great view

Didn't like having to carry everything up stairs for penthouse would've been nice to know that there was stairs to get up to room before hand and I would've gotten a different room , wasn't as clean as you would except, alot of dust on stuff windows dirty bedding was stained like it wasn't washed , found old fishstick at base of fridge carpet looked like it needed vacuumed, bathroom seemed like it could've used a sweeping stairs leading up to room had lots of marks , and need vacuumed. Night staff was very polite and helpful

I loved the location and amenities. It was a good price and I appreciated the garage option. The grab and go breakfast is very convenient. And loved being able to rent a bike.

The bathroom appears accessible but it wasn't really. The place to sit was extremely small and a bigger person wouldn't fit. I also don't remember a safety bar. The heater had a bright blue display which isn't great for sleep. I had to cover it with a pillow.

The view of the lake, you don't realize how busy the port of Duluth is. There were ships leaving and you could watch there progress from the comfort of your room. Duluth has a very good variety of eating places.. location of resort makes getting to these places easy. Just get on Superior Street head south till you get to where you want to eat or drink. Surprise the traffic was light very easy getting around. Save room for the Smores when you get back. We were here in March. Summer traffic is very busy.

Having to leave. Did not get to use pool too busy enjoying the town. TV in the room had to use both remotes to get to cable channels

Location, the view and price!

Parking, I’m handicapped and the first night had to park in the car wash bay, second night a non handicapped individual was parked in the only handicapped stall and I had to park outside in the icy street and walk on the ice to get to the building. Was told we will try and see who is parked there but staff is not allowed in the garage? To state we have underground parking, but there isn’t any. If there are x-number of rooms there should be x-number of stalls available for at least one vehicle per noon.

The complementary hot coco, cookies, and smores are wonderful! It was also so quite I could sleep no problem. I loved that the room had a normal light in the ceiling instead of just by the beds.

I had two windows in my room. One to the street, which I expected, and one into the inside pool area, which I did not. The 'inside window also could see into the hallway or other rooms if the blinds were open. Just odd. Breakfast was there but lackluster and limited.

I absolutely loved the balcony and the view of the lake. The sound of the lake was pure tranquility. The price for the room was amazing for the quality that we received. It's definitely on the list for places to go back to.

There wasn't much, if anything, I didn't like about the hotel. I will say the speed bump in the underground parking area was a bit excessive, meaning that if driving a sedan you would for sure damage the bottom of the car.

Lakeside room was right on the water, could walk out to the rocks by the waters edge from our 1st floor patio door, only 50 feet away. Very quiet and peaceful, great place rest and relaxation away from the noise of the city, room had a little kitchenette with cups/plates/bowls/silverware, extra perk we didn't expect! The coffee from the grab and go breakfast in the lobby tasted amazing, duluth's best coffee!

The TV wasn't hooked up properly, had to reconnect hdmi cords ourselves, no fan in bathroom

I stated in the 1 bed studio and everything was great. The view was exceptional, I regret not booking for more than one night but I will be back to visit again! I was glued to my bed the whole time looking at the view, or in the tub soaking so next time I'll have to actually get outside and enjoy everything they have to offer!

As always, incredible views of Lake Superior. Recent lobby renovations have modernized it a bit. The facilities have been falling in quality for several years, but they appear to be on the upswing.

There were a few little broken things in the room (e.g. the bathroom sink was clogged up and backflowing dirty water - sort of gross but not a HUGE problem). I wish they still had hot breakfast but the "grab and go" options are fairly good.

Beautiful setting as always with amazing staff. Love that it’s close to attractions yet quiet and right on the lake. Definitely need to get a room with a balcony for that lake experience…waves lapping in sound so serene. My favorite getaway in Duluth. Will always go back!

I wish the DVD players were already hooked up. Would be great for the kiddos to just pop a movie in without the adults wondering what to do. Office staff were helpful though! We were also confused about how to close the shades. Some instructions near the buttons would be helpful. Otherwise GREAT property that we recommend to many people!!
