The hotel is luxurious and sumptuous. It is plain to see that a lot of time and effort was spent renovating the hotel and the quality shines throughout. The corridors and rooms are full of quality furniture and decor. Chandeliers, beautiful chairs, dressing tables, boxes, wardrobes. It really does feel like you're staying in a magical fairytale castle. In our room we had individual robes and slippers and a free minibar. The champagne breakfast was wonderful and indulgent. I would happily stay here again and again.

We stayed on a Thursday night and the bistro was closed (it's closed on Wednesdays and Thursday). We could have eaten in the Michelin starred restaurant but this wasn't our vibe. Luckily for us we discovered that in the summer there is outdoor dining adjacent to the castle grounds in the Jardin du Commandeur.

Great Property. The castle is away from the city and perfect for vacations. Room was decorated in the old way, just what a castle room should be, elegant and classy. We also reserved our exclusive time slot to sauna facilities. The facilities are new and well maintained. We had a super relaxing time here. The in-room dining experience is also wonderful, we ordered a sea bass and a spaghetti, both delicious and well plated. Breakfast is also perfect. A glass of champaign was served, the cold plates are fresh, the farmers omelet was the best omelet you would ever have. All the food was fresh and delicious. Overall, the hotel is not cheap, but it worth every penny of your money. Highly recommended!

Nothing.

I absolutely loved the attention to details in the room. Modern yet traditional. The bed and pillows were comfy and you had the option to change the pillows if they were too soft or hard. I loved that the W.C was separate from the shower and the towels were actually in a cabinet under the sink. Every detail in regards to accommodation was there, for example if you forgot your phone charger the front desk had you covered. Room service 24/7. The wait staff at the Bistro Richard were all so friendly and attentive. The bar tender in the lounge...and the lounge itself...the decor...fantastic and uplifting .

The walk from parking to reception ...needs to be a bit more clearly marked.

Simply beautiful! The splendor of the castle continues into a stunning bar, the accessorized hallway, the remarkable staircases. The beds were very comfortable, especially for my spouse with chronic back problems. Restaurant staff were the finest of all!

Reservations for dinner are necessary and should be suggested by the hotel when the room is first booked. It would have been a shame to stay on site and be unable to eat there.

Our suite, and the hotel common areas were clean and in good repair. We had a late bite the night of arrival, and breakfast in the restaurant. The food was excellent, and there was an adequate selection. The furniture and design of our room was incredible! The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. There was no air conditioning in the room, but it was comfortable with the windows open. I would definitely stay here again.

There is nothing I could think of that we did not like. The property was beautiful.

Very nice location, very helpful staff, different things to do (hiking, biking, vespa tour, …)

It seems like the bistro was not (yet) organised/was understaffed for the first sunny days. It looked a bit like chaos inside. We didn’t receive our drinks, had to remind them more than once, or they were brought only after 30’. But… no major problem, we were on holiday and had time 🙂

It was everything we'd hoped it would be. For one night and a day, we were treated like a king and queen. The grounds, along with the buildings with the decor, were all beautiful.

It was a bit of a walk from the train station. A shuttle service would have been nice, especially because we're arriving after dark.

The room was beautiful. As was the bathroom. Fantastic building and stunning gardens.

We arrived downstairs on Friday morning at 9.20 only to be told breakfast could not be served since the staff had already been sent home. We were told that we hadn't reserved it in advance and hence could not have breakfast at the otherwise outstanding property. The same applied to the restaurant and bar. Sadly the restaurant was booked out, the bar was not in operation due to lack of staff. Not customer friendly.

The renovated castle is amazing. The restaurant (bistro) has very tasty dishes. You can also rent an e-bike to see the area around the property. There is also a private wellness but better to book it well ahead.

The wellness facility is private (which is good), but it was almost fully booked upon our arrival. Therefore we could only use it for only one late slot in the last evening before we leave (during our three night stay). The system should be organised so that there are at least a few slots available when guests arrive.

Beautifully renovated castle, rooms in the main building are nicely decorated and spacious. Bar with very good selection of drinks, nice Staff.

Surroundings of the castle were not very impressive due to the fact that heavily build plot of houses was created just next to estate. It's really a shame, such property deserves large parks.
