I can't speak highly enough of this inn. The family and staff are very comfortable, the room was very nice, and the two meals we had in their restaurant were very good. Private parking behind the building and magnificent mountain scenery in every direction. Nice photos recapping the long history of the place. The bar is a town watering hole and we had a couple of good conversations there. When I suggested the private office in the upper floor solarium would be a great guest lounge, we were immediately told we were welcome to use it. We had a minor medical need and the staff was very helpful -- although I certainly don't recommend the medical office just across the street: heavy homeopathic emphasis and a wasted 75€,

The thermoelectric room refrigerator is weak. It barely chills things even after many hours. This may be adequate for Germans and Austrians, many of whom eschew very cold beverages, but not for us.

This place is a hidden gem between Salzburg and Graz. My niece and I wanted a nice relaxed stop over before we headed to Hungary from Salzburg/Hallstat and this place was perfect. Clean, comfortable room. Super friendly staff. WONDERFUL food! We highly recommend the menu of the day for dinner and breakfast was so good as well.

If you go on a Sunday, the town will basically be shut down, so you'll just have to enjoy walking the river and enjoying the patio. :)

The staff was amazing and friendly. We arrived late but they served us dinner and allowed my dog in the dining room. The room was really beautiful! Updated and very clean and large. The bed was super comfortable and we have a great time socializing with the staff and other guests. We are definitely coming back!

The property has charm, old building with a pub on the lower floor and rooms on the upper floors. Clean and cute. There is parking behind the hotel. Pets are allowed, 7.5€\night. The garden is beautiful. The pub has authentic style and staff is kind. The village is cute and small. Around 40min to 1h to Graz.

Comfortable beds, charming, clean. The cook made my wife a gluten free Schnitzel on request! The host was wonderful. We will be coming back again! Only 30 minutes from the Red Bull Ring. Cute town, nice place to walk around after dinner.

We highly, really highly recommend the guest house Gasthof zur Sonne! Very friendly owners (thank you very much, Josef!), an excellent central location in vicinity of the train station, lots of hiking possibilities in the mountains and stunning views from the trails. Very warm atmosphere on the New Year's Eve together with the owners. We would love to come here again!

Excellent location, fantastic food - great to relax in the garden after a long drive. Close to the motorway, but in a lovely little village.

The rooms could do with a bit of a makeover, but for the price still very good value.

A Gasthaus, just like you’ll remember from decades ago. Old world, quaint, with professional & friendly staff. Just like decades ago. Same great service, same good value, same exquisite memories.

Absolutely nothing

It's an old building in a clean and quiet town, with nice garden and small bar/restaurant on the ground floor. Owners are super helpful and a very kind people. We really liked very comfy beds and optional breakfast served for additional charge. Despite the fact that the building is quite old, our room was clean and tidy.

We had a problem with shower head but it was quickly fixed by the owner. There could be more fresh vegetables for the breakfast.

Good size of rooms in a cosy traditional Hotel. Dinner and drinks were served in the garden. The swimming pool was after a long ride a very welcome cool down of the day.
