Exceptionally clean, and I'm very particular about that. Service was friendly, professional, and helpful. Donna at the front desk, did everything to assist us and make us feel welcome. Becky from housekeeping was also very kind and helpful. We were greeted with wine and dessert on our first night. They also give you baked goods daily that are beyond excellent. Everyday they tidied our room and made the bed. The building is very nice and well maintained. We had a slight issue with the shower and it was fixed to our satisfaction as soon as we mentioned it. The grounds feel like a botanical garden with cute sitting areas throughout. They provided great breakfast items each day, coffee, tea, juice, milk. Just a short 2 minute walk to several restaurants and shops, but tucked away so you don't have traffic by your rooms. Park is another short 2 minute walk. We met one of the owners and he was very nice and helpful. All the staff was great.

the room was very clean and well appointed. check in was a breeze and the young lady who checked us in (donnas daughter) was very polite and pleasant and gave some good recommendations. Donna was very helpful before and after our stay with our stay. my son left his sleep "stuffy" in the room when we checked out and the cleaning staff found it and held onto it for us. after contacting the hotel, Donna helped get this very important lost item back to us via US mail. thank you so much! we will be back!

only thing we didn't like (according to my 9 year old and 11 year old) is that it didn't have a pool. we knew that going in, but i guess that's the one thing that could make this place perfect

We were met at the front desk by Donna who was delightful and very helpful with "things to do advise." The grounds of the Retreat are as beautiful as they look on line. Our room was spacious and clean with a very modern updated bathroom. The Retreat is right on the edge of town so we walked to everything including 3 sisters Manatee preserve. If I'm ever back in Crystal River, I will stay here.

Not on the resort yet, but Crystal River should do more to preserve the dark sky, we were there on a new moon and there is a dock right near the hotel, should have been fabulous star gazing.. The lights in the park nearby and street lights made it a busy for stargazing, unfortunate.

Location and landscaping is amazing Very customer oriented, super clean. Ladies at front desk and from the cleaning service were so kind! They put fresh pastries every afternoon as a courtesy Parking is just in front of the rooms

Nothing! Just note they don’t have a microwave in each room however have a lounge room that is accesible 24 hrs that has one, ice and vending machine and hot water. Breakfast was not something very appealing but there is constant supplies of yogurt, fruits, cream cheese, cheese sticks, butter, varied breads and bagels, cereals, milk and coffee that you can take whenever you need. Not the classic american concept but truly well organized!

The rooms were simple but very nice. And the bed was extremely comfortable. A/C worked great at keeping the room nice and cool. Ample off-street feee parking. The property was gorgeous! So many beautiful trees, flowers, and butterflies. Love how they had a free continental breakfast and ice/water machine available 24/7. Left free bottled water in the rooms and provided free fresh baked pastries daily to each room. Staff was amazing! And so close to so many little restaurants, bars, and shops. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

Would have been nice to have a bit more water pressure in the shower.

The location is fantastic. A short walk to King’s Bay & Hunter Springs, great restaurants, coffee shops, attractions & shops. The property has gorgeous landscaping & the ambiance at night is stunning with the lights. Our family loved the fresh pastries at night! The room was clean & the bed was comfortable. Great value for your money.

The only “negative” was the slightly low water pressure in the shower but it wasn’t bad. The shower was still nice, it just didn’t have the strong water pressure that I prefer.

My family and I loved the quaintness of this “European” boutique inn located in the heart of the cutest city in west central Florida, Crystal River. The grounds are gorgeous and the rooms are clean and comfortable. And, the Retreat at Crystal Manatee is within walking distance of numerous shops, restaurants, and bars. Oh, and there were a couple of special touches: they grind their own coffee on site; and each room is gifted a goody bag containing a delicious homemade croissant and apple danish!

Outlet was too far away from mirror sink/vanity.

The place is a lovely and charming one. You are located few minutes away from Hunter Springs (where you can see manatees), Saint-Pier Marina (manatees), King's Bay (manatees again!). You are also very close to many good diving centers and from Three Sisters Springs. About the place itself, you will be able to enjoy a very comfy room: bed is large and the mattress felt brand new, the bathrooms is well equipped and clean. On top of all of it, the outisde has small tables and beautiful local plants and the staff we met was always very kind and considerate :) thanks a lot for having us!!

Fresh-baked croissants at check-in, clean, comfortable uniquely decorated room, quiet area with beautiful landscaping, nice amenities. Friendly staff. Location was very convenient to the spring where we did our swim with the manatee's tour.

While the nightstands looked cool, they were made of some type of metal that made a rattling sound whenever my phone vibrated. Also, there was no place to hang full-length dresses. It would have been nice to have hard boiled eggs available at the breakfast bar.

The plants around the grounds are so perfectly placed and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The room was nicely remodeled, 24 hour access to the coffee/ice (no ice machine for coolers) snacks, fresh made pastries delivered to the room daily was a nice treat. Restaurants, shopping and things to do were all within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay and will definately stay again.

We did look at google maps before booking and were confused when we arrived since the parking was gone, that was surprising but it all worked out. The room could have used a small dresser.
