This was our second time at Hotel Spot. Perfect central location in the Old Town, spacious bedroom, basic facilities, but all that we required with all bars/restaurants at close hand. Excellent value for money.

The location is the best part about the Hotel. Also the employees are really nice.

If you don't call when you arrive, nobody shows up but I travelled on Christmas. So it is their holiday and the hotel was completely empty because of winter season. (Iwas all alone and that was a bit scary.) Holiday and winter season is an acceptable excuse to find nobody. :)

This is the best location ever. Only 50m from the towns square. The accommodation was a room and shower with a toilet. It was perfect for us as all we need is a place to sleep. It was clean had tea and coffee facilities with a roof terrace if you want to relax. You can literally walk around the town and enjoy the history. Within 100m you can get to the seafront and slightly further is Mandraki There are oodles of restaurants and shops historic old town. Slightly disappointed with the market thinking it would be a typical fresh produce and fish market but no, just the usual tourist trash. Food is reasonably priced. The Spot Hotel is really well priced and great value fo money especially with its location. I always judge a place by if I would go back there and the answer is yes I would definitely use the Spot Hotel again. You are in the heart of a Greek town with women sat outside peeling vegetables as it would always have been. Cat lovers will love it as there are cats everywhere that are well fed and looked after. The streets are clean and well maintained. Motorcycle hire is 100m away from the hotel and reasonably priced.

Lack of fish dishes at the restaurants.

the single bed needed a mattress topper - it was uncomfortable but I did not complain so did give staff opportunity to resolve which I’m sure they would have done if I had - I just did not want to make a fuss because everything was so good

Great spot just off the main drag in the old town in Rhodes, somewhat eccentric decor which we really loved! The owner very kind and accommodating about leaving bags before check in and then all day on check out (our flight was late in the evening). The had a huge room with 3 beds, fantastic value for money for the old town.

One of the beds had a rather ropey mattress, luckily we didn't have to use that one. Bathroom could do with updating but everything works and the whole place was clean as a whistle.

Large ground floor room, shady internal courtyard and lovely roof terrace. Great central location in old town, 5 min walk to sea. Lovely breakfast cafe just outside front door. 10 minute walk from airport bus stop

Mattresses on some beds were old and hard. Please water the plants on the roof terrace. Make sure you phone with arrival time or you will have to wait for someone to let you in.

I had the good luck to get an oversized room on the first floor (2nd floor in Euro rating). There was plenty of space and everthng worked as it should - particularly the aircon which is essential. The building is located less than 10 mins walk from Kolona Harbour, from which the ferries depart to other islands. It is, of course, located in the Old Town which is my personal preference.

The only niggle was that I got the impression that the fridge was a bit tempramental - seemingly defrosting randomly. Or this could have just been that all power goes off when leaving the room and removing the card.

For the price of the room I think it was a superb value room right in the heart of the old town. If you prefer 4 star luxury however please find somewhere many times the price of this hotel. We chose the twin bed room number 1. The bathroom is rather small but still has a good shower with lots of hot water and there is also full size sink and even has a good hairdryer. There was plenty of room to hang our clothes in the wardrobe which had a small safe, iron and travel ironing board. Tea and Coffee and a kettle were provided. The free wifi was a little disappointing but found my own 4g reception was no better so guessing it was generally that way in the old town. In summary a great little place to say in the old town and experiencing the medieval town once the cruise ships had left was really nice.

For the price... I can't complain... We loved it.

The meet and greet staff were fantastic. The location was very central - just off Jewish Martyrs Square yet very quiet and friendly with locals living around the accommodation...a feeling of security when walking out alone at night. Close to many dining and sightseeing options. The back courtyard was a pleasant surprise. The room was, as I had asked for, quiet.

Bed was low to the ground and not very comfortable. The room was very spartan but at the price it's not a big issue.

Perfect locations. I advise use of hotel airport transfer as they met our transport at old city gate and took us and luggage on a golf cart through crazy bobbled lanes to the hotel! Life saver! Otherwise clean and comfy rooms in ideal spot!

When battling to work out where our ferry left from (main port or tourist port) we were simply told to phone the ferry company. With no overseas phone usage and almost zero Greek it would have been very kind for them to offer to phone for us, but otherwise all good! Oh, and maybe an umbrella on the roof terrace would be useful!
