As we lay on pool-chairs beneath the hot Moroccan sun, my wife, Aaron, proclaimed that this is the most relaxed she's felt since that time she fell asleep in a vat of almond butter at the Pip's factory back in 2004. The staff went over and above to ensure we were comfortable. The room was bigger than my house, and had great facilities, for example the screen-sharing capabilities on the TV, allowing my wife and I stream the YouTube from my telephone, and watch highlight compilations of Joe Biden falling over on television. They had Nutella crepes; as Aaron said "yum yum yum".

The room service is not 24/7 like we had been lead to believe, so if you are arriving late, or perhaps are just after a late night snack while watching your YouTube videos on the television, I suggest pre-organising a meal with Muhammad, or Muhammad, or Mehdi, or any of the other amazing and helpful staff. One other issue is that they like to blast loud, and my wife Aaron's opinion, bad music all day. Instead of royalty free Ed Sheeran covers, may I suggest just playing 'Not Like Us' by Kendrick Lamar on repeat? It's a great song.

The location was perfect because we had a rental car. Otherwise it would have been a bit remote for us. Everything was perfect, staff had good English, bed was very comfortable, room was quiet and everything was clean.

When going down to the beach, we got access to the private beach of the Hyatt Regency, but we had to walk past the lovely sun loungers only available for the Regency guests and arrived at some not so lovely seclusion for the Hyatt Place guests. If it is the same hotel chain, why make us feel so obviously second class on the beachfront where the sand and the sea is the same for everyone?

Nice hotel with good facilities.

Small details need to be fixed : new towels, comfortable pillows, renew the sofa …etc.

It was very new and clean and smart, if a bit ‘soulless’

It was a way from anywhere and ideally you need a car if you want to explore (although didn’t use the free shuttle to the beach). I had to wait for my room on arrival but was upgraded to compensate. However, the air con was faulty and fixed at 24 degrees - they sent someone to fix it in the evening but I had to call reception again at 1am as it was still at 23 degrees and I couldn’t sleep. They said there was nothing they could do till the morning (when they did fix it properly). There was also a smell of drains in the room - not horrendous but noticeable. The prices were equivalent to a similar hotel anywhere in the world (ie London prices) despite staff costs etc being much lower but that is just the plague of big brand hotels.

The hotel has an incredible view, with great leisure facilities, and a good breakfast. The room was a generous size and very comfortable. We were greeted with a warm welcome upon arrival and treated well throughout the stay. I was well catered for with my gluten allergy at breakfast and dinner time, thanks to the attentive and helpful staff. Thank you!

The hotel is up a hill, so a little further away from the beach and outside of Taghazout centre. This was not a problem for us, as we had already stayed in the centre for a few days, but for longer stays a car or use of the hotel shuttles/a taxi would be needed!

The outside space and pool area was very peaceful and relaxing. There was plenty of space. The hotel amenities and services were excellent and staff very helpful. The hotel is set in a beautiful location up the hill with great views over the bay. We made full use of the shuttle service to the sister hotel for easy access to the beach and then a 20min walk to Taghazout. Agadir marina was only a short taxi ride away which reception were happy to arrange. We really enjoyed our stay here

Nothing but would comment that the hotel could provide complimentary drinking water around the pool area

Mohammed and the whole team and the front desk were amazing, very friendly, super approachable, and also willing to help with any enquiries. The hotel has 2 free schedule shuttles, which either take you down to the beach or into the city centre. We decided to eat in the hotel every night we stayed in because the food was great. Breakfast is also good. However, the menu doesn't change, so it's the same every day, but the standard of food is really good. The grounds are well kept and maintained very well, and the spa is a great addition to this hotel. It's a very peaceful and relaxing resort, and that's exactly what we wanted. The bedrooms are so spacious, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Mohammed sorted out ajoining rooms for us, which was very sweet of him.

It's not that we didn't like it. it's just more so you know. If you're looking to be in the middle of agadir, then this hotel is out of the way. The hotel offers free shuttles to and from the city, so it's perfect I think the team at the pool bar is not as friendly as the team at reception. Which is ashame however that didn't ruin our time.

Nice pool area although a bit small. Nice staff but check for a better price if you are renting an excursion from the hotel or hiring a taxi to/from the airport and it is more than what you can through booking.com. The buffet is varied.

When you book it is not clear it is far from the beach. Having to take a shuttle to go to the other Hyatt where there is limited area for sun beds for Hyatt place guests. The breakfast is way too crowded unless you go early. The menu options for the restaurant are limited.

Breakfast, poolside, and room facilities are excellent.

It's not clear from the description that the the hotel is on a hill and not next to the beach or even walking distance from it. Although the hotel has transfers to Hyatt Regency, so can get you down the hill, they don't run frequently enough. A la carte menu in the restaurant is extremely limited particularly in view of the restrictions on location that being in the hotel places you in. On a rainy day there is little to do in the hotel.

It's a nice hotel if you rent a car for your travel, otherwise it's a bit far from everything. If you plan to go to the beach, there's a shuttle service but it has set hours and if you plan to go to Tamraght for shopping or smth, you definitely need a taxi. The hotel is nice and clean, it's cheaper than other 5 star hotels in the area that I also stayed in but definitely won't be my first choice for a beach holiday.

Breakfast wasn't good enough for a 5 star hotel. There aren't enough options for people who like it savory, although the pastry is very good.
