The best thing at this place is the staff; Zoey, Win, Min.. They were all amazing! The warmth they make you feel from the moment you enter till you leave, 2nd to none. Besides this, the location is good in terms of local street food around. Walkable to some sightseeing places, not easily walkable though.

Do not get excited with the images. Trust me it is not bad, but it is not as 5* as it potrays. The other thing is, it is a little difficult to spot out when traveling for the first time. Maybe Air Con in the common areas would be a good touch.

My stay at Khaosan Social Capsule was truly exceptional and incredibly comfortable. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Harry made the experience unforgettable with a sunset boat trip, his incredible magic tricks, acoustic performances, and spontaneous singing, all while maintaining a smooth professionnel approach. Gin and Sherly were amazing, ensuring everyone felt included and had a great time. Thank you girls for being super hospital and caring every time. Win’s always smily and cooperative his friendly readiness to assist with anything were so very much appreciated. A special thanks to everyone also thank you Marianne, Peduda, and Kevin at the bar, and the rest of the fantastic team. You guys completed a unique puzzle of solid team and creating a healthy social atmosphere. Apologies if I missed anyone! Khabkhun ka 😄 The hostel facilities respond well to travelers needs, and its strategic location made exploring easy. I also met some wonderful people during my stay and had heartfelt interactions. I RECOMMANDE !

I loved the staff! Really felt welcome and at home right away. I arrived super early yet they were able to accommodate me in the common area where I could rest a bit and provided me with a towel, was nice to take a hot shower after a long journey! It’s quiet there at night especially if you consider the location. Which is super central and is right by the Khao San night market. You won’t be disappointed! This place has a rooftop, free yoga classes, I met lovely people there. If you want to enjoy your stay in Bangkok look no further!

The beds were clean and comfortable, you had charging points by your bed and a light. The bed had good curtains for privacy. In your dorm there were hooks to hang your towels or clothing which was useful. The room was quite cool through out the day even when the AC was turned off. In the night the AC is nice, not too cold. The bathrooms were large and always cleaned. They also had soap and shampoo and you were given a towel in check in. Also no shoes were allowed in the bedrooms and bathrooms which was nice and hygienic ! There were lots of common areas which allowed you to be able to have social interactions, hang out with people/meet people or even just to chill alone. The lockers were large so it fit my big backpackers bag inside, along with other things and it was secure and safe. You didn’t need a padlock for the lockers which was a bonus. The hostel is in a great location, close to street food, markets, Khao san road (party area), public transport and other landmarks. It was also not too noisy. The hostel staff hold events like pub crawls, Sunday dinner, yoga classes, social hour, open mic night, tours and lots of other stuff which is really useful for when wanting to meet people or if you’re a solo traveller wanting to explore.This is the reason I was able to make lots of friends ! ALL the staff were so kind, helpful, fun, chatty and informative. They gave a great vibe to the hostel especially Harry, Jin, Kevin and a young girl from China (I don’t remember her name). And not to forget all the amazing cleaning staff and maintenance staff doing a super job with keeping the place clean and looking good. Also it’s cool how they allow you to hang around and use the facilities before check in/after check out. I loved the hostel so much that I’ve booked it for another 3 nights at the end of my trip. Thanks for having me ! :)

I’ve stayed at this hostel twice now as I really like the vibe there. Very chilled and relaxed but lots of activities organised by the hotel that allow you to meet people. The rooftop is also a great place to socialise. Drinks from the rooftop bar are also a good price. The bathrooms are always clean and there are enough showers and toilets for the number of people. The A/C in the dorms is great and the personal fans built into the bunks an added bonus! You can hear a little noise from the restaurant underneath sometimes but I found this mainly to just be on a Saturday night and it wasn’t too late. I slept very well here in general. You can’t hear the noise of Khao San road 😊

No backpacks in the room is a little annoying, but it definitely helps to keep the rooms tidy!

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Very social and a great community of travelers. All the staff are very kind and helpful. Yoga class everyday for free. Events by the hostel that take you into town every day of the week. The “capsules” you sleep in are very nice. I wish more hostels had that system it makes going to sleep way easier and it’s harder to get woken up by people coming in at 5am. AC turns off at 11am which will get you out of bed, but I think that is proper to get you out exploring and meeting people, which is what traveling is all about. Would recommend to anyone it’s a very safe and fun place to stay!

This was my first time staying in a hostel and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I was on a solo trip and they had SO many activities which made it very easy to interact with others and make friends. The staff were very kind, helpful and friendly. Very clean beds in the dorms, and I loved the privacy factor added by the curtains. The bathrooms were cleaned constantly and we were given a towel for the duration of our stay. The had a nice Indian restaurant right below which could got a bit loud but it was a great vibe. 100% staying here again when I’m back in Thailand!

Only thing I’d recommend is for staff to maybe go on some of the touring and restaurants that are suggested to guests themselves, as staff training. As someone who appreciates the less touristy side of travel, some of the suggestions (for example the floating market) felt very expensive and inauthentic. I can appreciate staff are mostly Burmese, so a depth of knowledge is harder to come by, but I do think it’d be worth the time and effort! Even just some examples out of lonely planet!

The location is great if you like to party and want to be near the most lively part of Bangkok. The hostel organises events and facilitates meeting new people so you won't feel alone. At the same time the dormitory provides enough privacy with its capsule-style beds to disconnect if you want to. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

Since it's located near the clubbing area you can hear the music and feel the bass till late at night. The lockers are located outside the rooms which makes them a bit awkward to use.

Clean, comfortable hostel. Really enjoyed the balance of social and privacy. The beds felt very private, but there are a few nice common areas and nightly social activities too. Everything felt clean and tidy and the location was great! The staff were really friendly too :)

At night I think the bar downstairs played karaoke and loud music which was a bit annoying but I managed to sleep through it. Maybe the floor cushions could be cleaned? They felt a little damp and musty. Bags are kept outside of the room which was actually nice so you’re not hearing a million zippers every five minutes, but a little inconvenient since there wasn’t much space around the lockers to access your bag.
