I have frequently spent a night at this hotel, and plan to do so again. Staff are friendly and capable, and although some parts of the building are showing their age a bit, the housekeeping staff do a fantastic job of cleaning and preparing for guests. The breakfast is fine and is ready a bit before the advertised time, which is helpful for those of us trying to make an early start. The front desk person was quick to switch my room when there was an issue. There is a Cracker Barrel next door. The I-57 is just a couple of blocks away.

The first room assigned smelled of smoke, and soon triggered allergies. (However, the front desk quickly assigned me another room: problem solved.)

The price and location was perfect for us.

Everything was good with the room and hotel itself, except the pool. There was way too much chlorine in the pool. To the extent that it burned the eyes and even the skin of my grandkids. They were in the pool less than 5 minutes and had to leave, the smell was overpowering and I believe harmful. It was very disappointing after having traveled all day with them looking forward to swimming.

I recently had knee surgery and booked a handicap room because the toilets were higher and head flowers for pulling myself up. Regular rooms have toilets that are far too low and make it impossible for me to get up on my own

I was disappointed to find that it had a regular bathtub. Even though it had bars on it it was impossible for me to get in or out of it. I need a walk-in shower

I like the location, the bed was comfortable and the price was right. I love that they have a pool that my grandson loves and slot machines for me😁

I didn't like that the young lady that was responsible for the breakfast was removing some of the food at 9:00 when breakfast is over at 10:00 she removed the Biscuit and Gravy an hour early and one of the waffle machines which made us have to wait a long time just to fix a waffle😡

The Hotel was very clean and inviting Good Breakfast!!!

Was traveling with my 75 yr old mother on a walker and the room we were in had a tiny area were toilet was and could bearly close the door for privacy. And tge toilet was very low to the ground. Was told that handicapped rooms didn't have 2 beds or they weren't available. But we managed.

The entrance is beautiful. Rooms are clean. It was truly an enjoyable stay.

In the room my mother and I stayed in, one bed was very comfortable,but the other... Not so much. One half of the bed was EXTRA plush, NO firmness at all. I felt as if I may fall out of the bed even. The other side of the bed however was comfortable as long as I did not roll over into the plush half.

I came with 4 grandchildren ages 2 -8 and we had a great time! They loved running down the hall to the room and our pool time! Everyone slept well! We missed the warm cookies but the breakfast was GREAT! The baby loved the apples! The oldest was in a baseball tournament and I just didn’t want to drive back and forth to Chicago! He won on Sunday so I wished we could have stayed another night! Everything was GREAT 👍🏼

We enjoyed our one-night stay here. The breakfast was really good, and the food was kept hot and well stocked. I thought the waffle maker was really good at making the perfect waffle. All of the employees were friendly wherever I was. I only small thing was that they were talking a bit loudly in the hallway when we were still sleeping, but this was minor since we had to get up anyhow. I actually like how friendly it all felt.

The water saving shower head did slow down the shower's water flow quite a bit, but it was otherwise alright. Also, the outlet plugs on the desk table were loose and not really effective for powering my laptop. I also had difficulty getting my laptop connected to their wifi, so I switched to using my cell phone as a hotspot.

It had so so many places to shop it was great

Young kids and teenagers smoking Pot in their rooms and carrying it on their pockets spreading the smell on the floor I stayed in, in my last day it was horrible I know that's not your fault it's their parents for not attending to them correctly, but otherwise it was nice, oh and Microwave didn't work

The breakfast was excellent with both hot and cold food choices. It was a very busy weekend because of the college kids moving in so they were refilling items often. Most places I've been to the biscuits are dry but their biscuits and gravy was excellent and the whole wheat blueberry waffles outstanding! I also won $542.00 in the slot machines!!!

Can't complain about anything.
