The staff were very friendly, helpful and greeted us warmly. The room was a good size and we had a fantastic view of Meteora from our large balcony. The room was in a quiet location and the double glazed windows screened any street noise. The hotel was clean and well managed. We booked a package with dinner included and we enjoyed fabulous food with attentive service. The hotel is in an excellent location to visit the monasteries and see the local area.

There is no lift in the main hotel area and the stairs are quite narrow. We had small luggage and a member of staff offered to carry our cases.

I have nothing but positive comments for this hotel! We stayed here during a quiet period for the sight of Meteora but this hotel is a little magical world of its own. Our room (the one with fireplace, steam shower and sauna) was excellent upon arrival and got cleaned daily! Our towels and bathrobes got changed daily as well, and our bed was made, making us feel very cozy, comfortable and luxurious. We received kindling and wood for our fireplace daily as well, which made our stay great; we kept it on every evening and at bedtime. The bathroom was clean and everything worked as intended. There was hot water at all times, and even the toilet accessories were modern, ensuring 100% comfort and hygiene. There's a small chance you'll make a mess in the shower the first time if you don't close the door fully but nothing terrible. The various lights in the room are an excellent idea, as is the ceiling fan. The staff is impeccable. They're always smiling, very eager to help you with anything, and they go out of their way to make sure you're happy with your stay. We had lunch and dinner in the restaurant and we also got some drinks from the bar, all was 10/10. They even offered us a big bag of breakfast for our early departure since we couldn't enjoy the breakfast buffet (which was great, by the way, lots of options for all diets).

My recent stay was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty and thoughtfulness of the space. The room was stunning—brilliantly clean and exquisitely designed with meticulous attention to even the smallest details. Every element, from the furnishings to the lighting, contributed to an atmosphere of elegance and comfort. We stayed at the Nefeli suite which had an amazing view to the Meteora rocks. The service was exemplary, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure every need was met promptly and with a genuine smile. Their professionalism and warmth truly made me feel at home. We would like especially to commend Christina at the reception. Breakfast was offering a wide variety of dishes that were not only diverse but also exceptionally delicious. The quality and presentation of the food were remarkable, and it was clear that a great deal of care went into curating this experience. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable stay. It is a place where every detail is considered, and every guest is treated with the utmost care. We look forward to returning!

Nothing! All was perfect

This is an absolutely fab hotel, quite small and quant but exceeded expectations for food, service and room. Rooms were a great size and very clean. The included breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice and great barista made coffee. The hotel staff were friendly, knowledgeable and so willing to help they were lovely to be around and knew a lot about the local area. The location of the hotel was fantastic, right near the famous monasteries (still a decent walk or a 2 minute drive) and the next town over was just a two minute drive. Nothing was far away, if you have a car!

All the staff of the hotel were absolutely amazing! Georgia, Theodora, Alexandros, Elena, Giannis and Nikos, with their friendly, professional and hospitable manners, made our stay unforgettable and unique and gave us a reason to return to this hotel unique of its kind! Thank you all for making us feel being at home!

There was nothing we didn't like.

Tsikeli was fantastic on every level. The location is absolutely ideal for visiting Meteora, being at the very start of the road that leads from Kastraki to the monasteries. The room was nicely decorated, large and the bed was comfortable. The selection at breakfast was good quality and offered all of the staples, including hot and continental options. Evening meals were delicious and portions generous; we had booked Half Board and enjoyed 3 courses each evening. The wine list was short but varied and at reasonable prices. The best thing of all was the service. The staff at Tsikeli are fantastic - friendly, attentive, helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Easy to find, nice rural village location yet not isolated or remote. Has got just the right mix of proximity to the village square, tavernas, mini marts and hiking trails. Free and adequate parking. The people maketh the place and the staffs always makes us comfortable and feels welcomed. The showers have proper sliding doors that separate it effectively so that the toilet does not get wet from the water after a shower.

For non-smokers, you can still smell some smoke when others smokes. we did not try to locate the smoker, but we definitely could smell it in the room despite the closed door and windows. Not any one's fault, just how the place is. not a big deterrent to choosing to stay here again if we ever return to Kastraki.

The staff is exceptionally nice and helpful. The bed was very comfortable with nice linens and the room was sparkling clean. The balcony had a nice view to the East of the Meteora rocks, and a table and chairs to sit at and enjoy the view. We had dinner at the restaurant on site, which was delicious! Our servers Georgia and Kathy were wonderful. Breakfast buffet was large with lots of options, and best cappachinos in Greece! Parking is on street, but we never had a problem finding a spot close by. It is located less than a 10 minute drive to most of the monasteries, and central enough that you can walk around town to Tavernas and shops. We preferred the quieter town of Kastraki to Kalabaka, less crowds. All in all a fantastic stay!

We were very happy with our stay. Room a little smaller than expected, but very comfortable!

Room was good, very clean and bed was comfortable. However, it was very small, specially the bathroom. It worked well for my husband and I, but there are other room size options available at the hotel. Breakfast was very nice! The staff were very friendly. Good location in Kastraki village, but you need car to get to Kalambaka. You can park your car in the streets around the hotel. The hotel restaurant is good and offers food options with reasonable price if you don’t feel like going out.

Bathroom size was very small.

Beautiful hotel in fabulous setting. Breakfast choices were incredible and very tasty. Staff (everyone) were very welcoming with a great smile and eager to please. Looks like they really enjoy their work and want to take the best care of their guests.

Our room was on the bottom floor looking onto a garden area that looks as though it belongs to a neighbour. The garden is actually below eye level when sitting down. Would have upgraded if we had known - but a minor issue that didn't detract from our overall two night stay.
