The breakfast was nice. Don't leave your food outside, though, because huge seagulls seemed to know when people were having breakfast. 😀 The location is close to the busy touristy street and the central station. The staff was friendly.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is very close to the central train station and many attractions and restaurants were within walking distance. The room was comfortable and clean, and felt like good value for the price we paid. We would stay again.

Communication prior to our stay could be improved - we were booked months in advance but were not told about construction affecting the breakfast room and the neighbouring building until a few days beforehand. The rooms were not completely soundproof, as sometimes you could hear other customers coming/going. Also, we were not bothered by this but the bathroom is very small. Regarding proximity to central station - consider the weather and how many bags you are taking. We were very unlucky as there was a snow storm right before we arrived so even though the hotel is only two streets away, it was difficult bringing our bags to and from the station.

Central location close to Oslo Central train station, comfortable bed and useful working desk in the room. Breakfast is really excellent and quality price for Oslo hotel was a pleasant surprise. Bedroom and bathroom for standard room is relatively small but showers are hot and amenities good. I stayed in room 312 and it was a quick descent to the breakfast room under partial renovation but plenty of tables available. Breakfast staff very welcoming and again breakfast selection 10/10! Thoroughly recommend for single travellers but larger rooms are available for couples. Indian Italian and Thai restaurant within 100 meters and multiple bars on the corner 200 meters at the next crossroad on your right after leaving the hotel.

Add a fitness room!

They had a great selection of breakfast and the staff are both kind and very well-versed around the city of Oslo. Going to anywhere is very easy due to it being within 5min of the train station (for far travel) and being next to Karl Johan's street (for going to places within Oslo itself). This also works the other way; if you ever get lost in Oslo, just go to the train station or Karl Johan's street, and from there you'll easily find it.

There was construction work just at the neighboring building, so it was a bit louder than expected. It also obstructed the view out of my window - though that would have just been the building on the other side of the street.

Breakfast was great, a lot of choices. Location was central, close to shopping center, walking distance to some attractions within the center, and a few minutes walk from train station.

We don't usually mind much about size of the Toilet-shower as long as its clean, but the one in our room was too small, even for small people like us. It was too tight and barely no space for the toiletries. It could be just the for the room we were assigned to, so not sure if we were just unluckly to have been assigned to that room. Door lock when leaving the room was not automatic. We had to be check few times before going to make sure it was locked. It was not functioning as expected.

Location was perfect - 2 min to a tram stop and 5 min to Oslo Central. Staff was nice and helpful! We had to catch an early train and asked for a breakfast-to-go. And the gentleman staff made sure we got them ready in the morning. He also made one of the sandwiched himself (It was as nice btw!). Two other staff we encountered were also friendly and nice. One helped us with direction to a restaurant and another one ensured our smooth checkout. Amenities were adequate and suited our needs. The room was spacious enough for 3 or 4 adults. There was a large open wadrobe and a pair of armchairs too.

One minor disadvantage was our room was pretty warm which was a good thing but when it got stuffy, it was not practical to open the window because of the noise (perhaps from the kitchen?).

The staff was extremely accommodating helping with arranging a breakfast take away bag for a 3:00 AM departure time to catch a flight and with putting a small package in the refrigerator overnight.

The guestroom restroom facilities were fine other than the water from the shower flowed under the door and went across the entire restroom floor due to the floor being sloped away from the shower. The only drain was in the shower itself so we had to push water back towards the shower drain and dry the floor with a towel after each shower. The walls seemed to allow a lot of the noise from the adjacent room. Unfortunately, we had an early flight the next morning and were trying to get to bed earlier but the family room area that we were in had kids in the adjacent room that were simply being kids but the sound travelled through the walls quite a bit in the first 1+ hour that we were trying to sleep.

It is still a nice, clean, designer discount hotel with a perfect location.

I booked accommodation here again because I liked it so much a year ago. Except for one thing: the size of the room. That's why I thought I'd take care of the reservation in time to get a bigger type. I wanted two separate beds for two people, but in the end, I got the same size room again with the two halves of the bed pushed together in the same way. It is amazingly small, uncomfortable for two people. Because of this, and because of the somewhat less tasty breakfast compared to last year, I was disappointed this year.

The hotel's location is fantastic, just a 4-minute walk from the train station. Now, about the breakfast—it's extensive, thoughtfully curated, and absolutely delicious. A big thank you to the dining area team for their kindness. The quality of the spread was excellent, and the breakfast alone made the price worthwhile. I also want to highlight the two ladies at the reception who contributed to a comfortable stay. Overall, it was an amazing experience.
