Dealing directly with the staff, they were very welcoming and friendly. The food was great and more than what I expected in such an isolated place. Would definitely stay there again, and now I have their contact number I will call them directly, no need for booking.com.

Trying to book through Booking.com, the site was cumbersome and when I discovered the head office is in the Netherlands I decided to never use this service again. I would prefer my money to stay in the country. The extra bit that booking.com charges makes accommodation a bit more expensive.

Location between large towns is good. Even though hotel was on the highway, we heard no traffic. We enjoyed the lovely welcome we received from new management--some lovely Irish young people who had just started there. Room was large, clean and with good bed, No view though, as it is built behind the pub. We could also eat at the hotel, so that was a bonus.

The bathroom shower looked clean, but someone had stepped into it after it had been cleaned as there was a definite footprint there. However, as we arrived in a management change-over, I wasn't too concerned.

Externally not quite sure what we had gotten ourselves into but the room was super clean and comfy although not really a sitting area at all but the motel dinner catering was excellent so really just needed the room to sleep. No breakfast option so self cater required

No cups or glasses supplied although plenty of tea coffee biscuits etc. We had our own so didn't matter. The unsealed car parking can he an issue in rain.

Unfortunately the attached Hotel is no longer operating, Ivanhoe township appears to be on a downward spiral and is dying.

Poor lady cleaner had to do a quick clean for us, late on Sun. Very apologetic. Bins were still full.

Considering Ivanhoe is in the middle of nowhere it was a great little place. Staff were so helpful and the food perfect. Very clean and tidy room.

Could be a bit cheaper considering it's location.

Friendly staff. Good pub grub. Comfortable bed and room. Good to have the toilet separate from the bathroom. If you intend to stay in Ivanhoe, book early as there are not many options.

Very clean, roomy, well equipped and comfortable accommodation in a small remote outback town. Helpful, happy staff. Close to fuel station.

Overhead fan! So few places have them, but so much better than aircon. Large toilet, and separate shower/basin. Exterior lights turned off at night so I could view the wonderful outback stars!

Sole light bulb was a little dim, and mounted in centre of room, making it difficult to read in bed. A bedside lamp would be good.

Staff, and Room Facilities. Heater with AC, modern bathroom and toilet. Flat screen TV, Coffee & Tea, toaster, kettle, with fridge with milk and bottled water. Large queen sized bed, with warm sheets, and good quality bed linin.
