Very good breakfast right next to the swimming pools. 3 course breakfast with coffee and juice. Enough choices to select from and very fresh food. The property itself is so beautiful and very serene and quiet. The staff are outstanding, so friendly. The rooms were quite spacious with extremely comfortable beds. Overall a gem of a stay,
This has nothing with the hotel itself. The restaurant right next door (not associated with the hotel) was just ok, service was terrible. But given that we were so tired, we decided to eat there. The location of the hotel is about 15-20 min from Ubud center which is where all the action is. But again, this is not a negative on the hotel. But just making you aware.

The place has a very unique, very Balinese vibe to it. They have a huge, very beautiful and looked after garden with orchids growing from trees and a collection of statues depicting local folklore. They also have a beautiful rice fields right on the territory of the hotel and we were lucky to see the process of seeding the fields by the farmers. The territory is well looked after and everything is quite clean and tidy. The room was also very beautiful, spacious and clean! We had a chance to try the newly renovated Suite number - it is just perfectly done! I loved everything about it - the design, the quality of renovation works the fact that it is so spacious and has everything you need for a perfect stay! They also offer an afternoon tea and snack everyday, which is a very nice gesture. The staff were very nice and incredibly attentive. Special thanks to Ms Dewi, she was always there to help, very nice and caring! I would definitely love to stay there again! It is a gem right in the center of Ubud but quiet, tranquil and peaceful at the same time!

I highly recommend Svarga Bebek Villas. This boutique resort exceeded all of my expectations. It’s grounds are stunning and perfect for a truly relaxing getaway away from the busyness of Ubud yet is close enough to enjoy the town centre when necessary. I was originally staying for 1 week however ended up staying here for 3 weeks. I was fortunate enough to stay in the 1 bedroom pool villa and it was simply perfect. The combination of cultural architecture and modern ammenities was spot on. The resort offers breakfast, a lovely afternoon tea and free shuttle/car service into the town centre included in the tariff. The breakfast menu has a lovely variety of options along with the The Orchid Duck restaurant which is also on site. I was looked after so very well and cannot wait to return in Dec/Jan. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful and went above and beyond with their service. Svarga Bebek Villas deserves to be rated 5 stars.
There is nothing I didn’t like about this property.

Our stay was absolutely fabulous! We intended to stay 4 days but expanded our stay to 1 week, which was possible with a change of rooms. The whole staff treats you like family and is so kind and helpful! We totally felt like home in paradise. The hotel/villas are freshly renovated, so that’s the reason why there aren’t too many reviews yet. The garden is the most beautiful we have seen so far with a lot of different tropical plants and there are statues everywhere, even integrated in the pools. You could almost easily skip the temples in Ubud (except maybe the Pura Dalem which was our favorite temple). The japanese restaurant (Orchid Duck) was an absolute delight! It has delicious food which is served beautifully. We only would recommend that they take the Mochi’s from the menu, because they were our only disappointment, because the dough isn’t right, it’s not gewy like a Mochi should be, it’s more like pasta dough, and it brings down the quality of the restaurant which we otherwise experienced as exceptional good (especially loved the Udon Broth with Onsen egg, also the Wagyu Burger). We also enjoyed the famous Bebek Tepi Sawah (indonesian restaurant famous for crispy duck) next to it. Also the drinks and the breakfast (à la carte, but you can mix anything that you like) are one of the best we had so far on our 2months in Indonesia. The rooms are beautiful and nicely decorated for a warm welcome with delicious chocolates. We would recommend to take the a little pricier rooms/villas, because you get much more space, a bigger bed (200cm instead of 160/180cm) and a bathroom that isn’t open on one side and this for just a little more money. But that said, we enjoyed both rooms very much. The hotel is very economy-friendly with reusable drinkingstraws and two big glass bottles of water in your room that you can refill whenever you wish. All in all we loved it here and think it is a “hidden” treasure, a relaxing oasis amidst busy Ubud!
- Mochis (read above) - Spa Feedback: we felt bad for one of the massage therapist (of my fiancé) since she was working while clearly struggling with a cold. we would recommend her not to work in that state and for the hotel to cancel the treatment if the therapist is sick. you don‘t want to infect your guests either and ruin their holiday, and you can not really relax while your therapist is coughing. (not sure if spa staff was part of hotel staff or if they are hired from outside though!! which is why i didn‘t include in rating, my massage was good though)

A little hidden oasis near the center of Ubud. The suite is nice and clean, delicatedly scented and cool. The staff is best team I've ever met. Sitting on the balcony or at pool is pretty calming. There are several types of breakfast you can choose from. I recommend their nasi goreng and black rice muesli. It's worth to have dinner at least once in their reputable restaurant. Their nice fine art gallery is just in the same building where the reception is. Plus you can book a ride to Ubud Center and back. Drop off points are near the market and the Monkey Forest.

A beautiful, refined complex with a beautiful garden full of orchids, two pools one of which is 12 m long, delicious breakfast options (though the croffle is too small :-), afternoon cakes every day and great cocktails. Shuttle to town is great but the level of congestion means that it takes ages to downtown.
The hotel is great on every level…. But Ubud was a disappointment. I remember Ubud from 20 years ago, quaint and arty. It is now a terrible traffic jam of a place, a mega loud chaos with unwalkable streets (pavements too narrow and broken and morotbikes ride on them too). Most shops sell ugly Chinese ware. Restaurants are great but exposed to the horrible sound of traffic. Risking your life every time you try to cross the road. Much better in the north of Bali for some peace and quiet and real nature

I like everything. This is a very special, authentic place where you can fully experience the culture of the East, its wealth and beauty. The territory is very green, there are rice fields and beautiful lotuses, beautiful pools, orchids everywhere. There is also a gallery here, I really like art, so that was a nice plus for me. I felt like I was in some fairy tale or legend, in a luxurious palace, many elements of culture: gold, statues of gods, paintings, trees, flowers, rice fields. There is also a beautiful restaurant on the territory of the complex, the symbol of the complex is a duck.
All was nice!

Overall, it was a good experience. The rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. For the price, I found the performance to be quite good. One lovely touch was that they put flower decorations on the bed for our honeymoon, which was really sweet and made us feel special.
However, the hotel does seem a bit worn down, which detracts slightly from the overall experience. Another thing that stood out as odd was the reception's warning that any damage would be charged to our account. While we understand the policy, the way it was communicated felt a bit uncomfortable and out of place.

This hotel is a true gem, just like the charming Balinese hotels I remember from 20 years ago! I wish more places were as well-maintained and full of character as this one. Our stay was absolutely perfect, thanks to the incredibly friendly staff. We’ll definitely be booking this hotel again!
The breakfast was okay, but there’s definitely room for improvement. Serving Kopi Bali as the main coffee option at breakfast doesn’t quite match the standard of a 4-star hotel. While Kopi Bali is fine for budget accommodations, when you’re staying at a higher-end hotel, you expect quality coffee from an espresso machine. We ordered and paid for coffee from the machine, which was around 40,000 Rupiah each, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet expectations either—there was no foam, and the taste wasn’t up to par. There’s a lot of potential for improvement here, and I’m confident that international guests would really appreciate the effort if these changes were made!

Clean room, quiet and peaceful ambiance. I really like their new designed rooms, modern, clean and sophisticated. Breakfast was amazingly good, delicious Eggs Benedicts! The staff were really thoughtful and friendly. Very nice and clean pool, I love it.
I couldn't find the place the first time because there was no signage of the villa, and ride passed it. We had to ask the security ti find the place. FYI, it is located inside Bebek Tepi Sawah Restaurant. An actual hidden gem! Overall it was a pleasant stay and experience.
