very nice breakfast and very kind restaurant staff and clean room and service of house kipping are very good and we enjoy steamboat dinner.

location, just facing to main road that some noise, when I booking refer to photo of tea plantation and picnic in plantation so we hope we can enjoy same as photo but, that is irrelevant photos.

Cameron Highlands Resort was amazing. I travel regularly, but never have I experienced such excellent service and well trained staff. From the front desk, to the restaurant/bar waiters, to the room attendant, ... every single person was so welcoming and caring. The colonial building itself is beautiful and well maintained. We particularly enjoyed the high tea, cozy evenings at the fireplace, and the delicious breakfast.

We spent three days in the cool and tranquil Cameron Highlands Resort; the perfect retreat from the heat of KL.  Special mention must go to Darwin -  the Food and Beverage Manager.  A consummate professional in his work, he is a credit to the YTL group and a real asset.  He is moving to the Pangkor Laut Resort in August - head hunted, no less which is no surprise.  They will be lucky to have him and with his relaxed and charming professional demeanour he will be very popular with guests and staff alike.  All is not lost for the Cameron Highlands Resort however - there are several other staff members following in Darwin’s highly-polished and capable shoes.  Ravi is clearly cut from the same cloth as Darwin when it comes to discreet yet complete customer service and you will want for nothing when he is around;  especially in the Gonbei restaurant!  A 'steamboat’ is the perfect way to fill-up on a chilly evening in the Cameron Highlands and Ravi will keep you well-supplied with tasty ingredients for you to cook in your pot until you’ve had enough. We couldn’t talk about he CHR without mentioning the spa.  Worth the 5,000ft ascent in to the mountains just to experience a treatment at this haven of tranquility at the hands of Arika.  She was running the whole spa by herself and must have been exhausted but it didn’t show - it was a fantastic experience and we were very sorry to be leaving having only been able to book just one treatment.

Charming staff, very well trained waiters, and a decent menu of well executed dishes (Western and Asian). High tea wasn't especially glamorous but hit the spot. Brilliant location though not especially beautiful views from the hotel (which itself is quite attractive). Wish I had my golf clubs as the course across the road looks decent. Hotel arranged excellent guides to mossy forest and plantations etc. Comfortable rooms. Nice gardens/borders. Gym and spa looked solid though didn't use. Shower was really nice. Open fire in the lounge was appreciated. Guests were well mannered.

Rooms need a bit of a refresh. Carpets, upholstery. Not terrible though. I didn't like how open the hotel was (front doors always open, common areas connected to interior courtyards). It's a bit chilly and somewhat undermines some of the British style cozy library/lounge vibes. Maybe open doors are good feng shui - in which case fair enough, I just didn't find it comfortable. Each to his own. Internet a bit sketchy though ok - don't arrange an important teams meeting. Didn't have any cigars :) But very nice hotel. Probably deserves an upgrade and a price increase. The next 5 years will be important for this hotel.

We stayed 4D/3N at this lovely heritage property that over looks an 18 hole golf course. You feel transported into a different era when staying at this property; the old world charm returns. The management has done well to maintain the heritage essence while providing all modern day amenities in this hotel. Fireplace lighting ceremony, high tea and nature trail with In house naturalist Madi were a treat. The staff at this property is always smiling, ever helpful and almost felt like an extension of the family. All were very kind to offer suggestions for sightseeing or the use of Hotel's facilities. I hate to choose one out but truly Santhosh at the restaurant requires a special mention for his care and high level of service

The property is next to a road so be prepared for some noise coming through, the Hotel does provide complimentary ear plugs. We didn't use them as by 11 the noise usually would die down. Breakfast is a set menu to choose from (unlimited helpings) - the food on offer was good. Would appreciate a rotating menu for items on offer.

Location was good, close to strawberry farms, tea valleys and Cameron Centrum. Room is cooling and with enough space with family time.

Facilities are a little outdated: the room key card holder has difficulty recognising the magnetic stripe so it takes multiple tries to open the door. The bed sinks in and creaks with movement. Unfortunate incident at the spa, arrived early to use the tea bath facilities per instructions on spa website, but turns out tea bath only starts at appointment time. Upon arrival at the spa valley there was no staff at the reception so couldn’t clarify either. Breakfast was mediocre with limited selection and taste could be improved.

Waiters were primed before about my vegan diet and gave me a range of breakfast choices adapted to suit my taste and were super attentive and friendly . I ate in the Gonbei restaurant one evening and again I was greeted by name and offered a vegan version of the steamboat dish … which was superb ! Room was super comfy and very well appointed with gorgeous balcony looking over the golf course and hills. My favourite hotel in a long time. Complimentary local tour was fascinating and valuable

Absolutely couldnt fault it - saw some people had grumbled about traffic noise but there were ear plugs provided ! They seem to have covered everything possible

Receptionist Ms Chloe took care of even the smallest details of our stay. She had provided all our requirements as per our wish. Ms Chloe suggestions were having few items within our budget and some above our budget limits. She very delicately handled guests request and helped. All other staff members were very friendly. During breakfast interacted with few waiters serving us, Mr Saiful had provided us some guidance as well. Property is worth the money. We were in small family suite on 1st floor. View from our rooms balcony were breathtaking. Facing golf course and mountains was extremely nice. This property is east facing..... so morning sun and sunlight approaching our rooms and balcony in cold chilly weather was exceptional (PS for early morning risers 😂, me and my wife. My 11 years old son didn'tlike to be woken with sunlightin early mornings). However you have curtains to cover the doors and windows, but we deliberately left open to enjoy the early morning view. Restaurants with piano an good classy instrumental music brings up the mood. Also Ms Chloe helped on 2 separate occasions of arranging transport from hotel on short notice. To explain in detail, we took flight from Singapore to Ipoh. Stayed 2 nights in Ipoh to enjoy the local 2 Cave temples and mirror lake. All local transport can be achieved thru Grab app taxi drivers in very reasonable price between 5 to 23 MYR (Malaysian Ringgits) depending on distance. We even book grab taxi from Ipoh to Cameron Highland in 260 MYR. However in Cameron Highlands Grab drivers and facilities are not so good & not prompt. Ms Chloe of Cameron Highland Resort had arranged taxis for local tourist spots and then later on taxi to Ipoh Airport, both on very short notice. We were really thankful to her gesture and efficiency otherwise we could have missed our flight. People have mentioned in previous reviews that too much noise comes from adjacent road traffic. But we didn't find it troublesome.

3 points to highlight here 1. Electrical points to charge your mobile laptops etc is not appropriately provided. 2. Third bed for my son was not long enough and not comfortable 3. All the lights to be switched off from local switches. There was no bed side light control 4. Breakfast choices were very limited but in taste and presentation it was excellent

The location are great. The staffs hospitality were amazing. It's highly recommended for couple who like to have a peaceful and calm holiday. Not much children spotted at the hotel. The roti canai freshly made by order was delicious!

As a person who love the coldness of weather, i find that the ceiling fan should be located above the bed not at the sitting area. I feel warm at night and not comfortable to sleep. If we open the window to feel the chill air, it will be too noisy as it's near to the road side. The pillow are not comfortable as my neck was sore on the next morning. Perhaps more variety on the breakfast menu. I stayed for 2 nights but the menu was exactly the same for both days.

Hotel is exactly what we expected and more. Staff is super friendly and the check-in process was smooth. Rooms are super nice and you can see the english charm through and through. It is right on the main street and all rooms face the street but we didn’t mind the traffic noise too much. Restaurants were clean and the food was very good. Breakfast was amazing, it was a la carte and buffet, so everyone can find something. Free parking right outside.

SPA is only for extra pay, no sauna or pool to enjoy. Beds could be softer (but that’s a personal preference)
