Relais Colle Buono really is in a league of its own. We stayed for 5 days for a wedding being held nearby. We had 4 rooms at Colle Buono, there were 126 of us attending the wedding and we were the lucky ones to have chosen at truly beautiful hotel. We will be back! Thank you so much to the caretakers/staff of this stunning venue!!

We were a bit disappointed with the evening menu as it was the same every night for our 10 days there In fairness they did say the chef would cook something else if we asked The lunch menu was a little over priced in our opinion

Glorious views from our room over the orchard and into the ridges and mountains beyond. Excellent spa run by the lovely Federica and Clara, both highly skilled and caring therapists, where we had treatments including deep tissue massage, facial, mani and pedicure. And a great restaurant into the bargain. Our dog also loved it and she didn’t use the spa!

Showers needed unblocking but they were sorting it as we left.

The Relais location and surrounding views from the property are so stunning. The nearby town of Alvito is worth driving through with some amazing restaurants and rustic scenery. Bring a translation app for effective communication :) The Relais restaurant is a great experience although it was pricey. We went to both the Relais restaurant and nearby restaurants in Alvito - the value you get is much greater in Alvito. The Relais staff are attentive and keen to make your stay the best it can be.

The disappointing part of the stay was the bed comfort. We found it really uncomfortable and there was 1 night I couldn't fall asleep at all, which impacted our next day's activities. They line the bed mattresses with something that causes overheating - the pillows are massive and not usable. Even despite requesting new pillows from their "Pillow guide" they didn't manage to change them throughout our stay. This was disappointing considering the basic function of an accommodation of any standard is to provide a great night's sleep. The Sauna from their spa doesn't work as expected - there are gaps between doors and frame which causes the heat to escape resulting in more of a room with heating rather than a Sauna experience.

Colle Buono is beautiful and in the most tranquil setting. Facilities are idillic, especially the swimming pool. we also really lovely our room. Perfect location. The orchard was also great for our dog to run around. We would definitely look at staying again.

We have travelled Italy a lot and stayed in many places with our dog, but 40 euros for a 10kg hypoallergenic dog is excessive and almost double to what we usually pay. It would also be handy to have a bin outside to clean up after our dog. We also had to wait 25 minutes for 2 boiled eggs for breakfast and the restaurant was nearly empty.

This is the best place I have ever stayed in Italy. Firstly the location is incredible, nestled in the Comina Valley flanked by beautiful and imposing mountain ranges. Secondly the accomodation is deluxe. The rooms are clean, quiet and well equipt. Thirdly, the pool facilities are luxurious and refreshing. A pristine infinity pool facing an absolutely gorgeous landscape. Fourthly, the staff. All the staff members were helpful and very pleasant. Nothing was too difficult for them and they always responded with an earnest smile. Fifth, the dinner was delicious and diverse, sourced and inspired by local fare. The wine pairing was on point and a great experience. Lastly, the spa was marvelous. 5 different sections (sauna, steamroom, salt wall water bed, ice shower and spa with view of the valley) all to yourselves. Do youselves a favour and book this place for more than one night (unlike I did). The experience was simply brilliant.

Superb view from room and restaurant. Clean, quiet. Car parking. Orchard and vegetable patch. Good location for exploring the Comino Valley area.

At breakfast the glass wall is great for the view but hot if your table is in the sun.

the surrounding area, the location, the quality of the furnishings combined with the sophisticated decor,friendly and extremely attentive and professional staff. we paid for half board and wow The food was absolutely AMAZING, the menu was overseen by a Michelin chef and it showed. The quality taste and presentation of the dishes in the plentiful menu were breathtaking.if your a foodie this is the place to go. We have dined all over the world and never experienced food as tasty as this yet. first class experience, tranquil surroundings we shall return.

The place is clean and very relaxing. Rooms have access to a private balcony where you can sit and work or simply relax while enjoying a wonderful view of the countryside and of the mountains in the distance. We used this place as a starting point to visit the Abruzzo National Park, which is reachable with one hour trip by car. The beds are extremely comfortable.

The room we had was so small that there wasn't room for a single chair or a table (we had a coach instead). If you want to organize a workshop here you find everything you need (a restaurant with projection screen, a large veranda as a working place, a pool, etc.). However, they only have a dozen rooms.

Recommend hiring a car driving here, you are a bit away from most towns and public transport not readily available from this location
