The hotel is centrally located and in a great area - quiet at night & away from the bustling tourist areas. There are a few great coffee shops and bars within walking distance. The staff at the hotel were incredible - very friendly, helpful, and polite upon every interaction. The hotel room itself was quite large and very comfortable - the bathroom was very large! The beds were firm but that was alright with us. Highly recommend staying here for a quiet, upscale feeling away from the hustle of the city.

The Hotel was recommended on the "Guide du Routard" and it frankly exceeded our expectations from various point of view: the location is excellent to visit the main Buenos Aires center area (Retiro, Recoleta, Puerto Madero ...) without need of transport, it is close to bus terminal, metro and train and offers a quite wide options for dining in the evening at walking distance. the hotel infrastructure is well kept, the rooms are clean and well sound-isolated, the beds comfortable, wifi and tv signal perfectly working. Last, but absolutely not least, the reception staff is extremely attentive and professional. we arrived there after a long night bus and since our room was ready, we could check-in much earlier that planned. more that that they were providing all sort of information and promptly answering our various questions. Special thanks to the evening team that gave us a perfect dinner suggestions each night :D (and - cherry on the cake - I neve succeeded to open myself the front door ! :)

I highly recommend this hotel! Great customer service way above and beyond! Safe area and close to very important landmarks. Everything you need is near by. Everyone who works at Carles Hotel is amazing. I felt safe, welcomed and cared during my stay. Facilities are clean. Breakfast has variety and were so kind to provide me with GF, dairy free alternatives. I was nervous about finding to eat but they were so nice to offer some options. Thanks to EVERYONE at Carles! Definitely, I will be back in my next trip and will recommend to everyone who is looking for a place to stay. It’s 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all around!

The overall experience was perfect, rating it as a 10 despite the minor inconveniences I mentioned here. The exceptional service from the staff far exceeded our expectations, they were transparent, fair, attentive, and helpful.

The hotel provides (as a courtesy) a free of charge 500ml bottle of water per room (room of two people), and they don't provide it if the last bottle is still unfinished. Additional bottles are available in the minibar, though much cheaper options can be bought on a supermarket. Also, we experienced occasional high noise from an air circulator, particularly disruptive in the middle of the night. However the staff promptly addressed the issue upon notification.

- The location is perfect and it makes it very easy to visit anything in BA from this location. - The staff is really nice, helpful and professional. - The rooms are absolutely silent thanks to the strong insulation. - The bed/sheets are of high standard, the chair/office are good if you need to use your laptop. The bathroom is nice as well. - Best quality/price I found so far after 50+ hotels visited in my life. Great stay!

My only suggestion is to change the coffee available for the breakfast :)

The room was very pleasant, with perfect size and layout; the bedroom was conveniently situated as the furthest room. The furnishings were very good, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. The bathroom was well-equipped. The staff was very helpful and friendly, which made our stay exceptionally nice.

The window in the bedroom was not sealed very well, allowing some noise at night, but it was nothing too bothersome. The breakfast was fairly average, yet it included everything one might need.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean and well equipped. The staff was so friendly and helpful, starting as we checked in late at night with Taiel. Cecilia and Ignacio were also super helpful and appreciated. Breakfast was delicious with bacon, eggs, pastries, jams, juices, ham, cheese, and desserts.

The hotel is a hidden gem. A diamond to be specific. It's in a great location placed midway between Recoleta and Boca. Easy access to the port for Buquebus and Uruguay. Easy access to the domestic air terminal. Great restaurants all around. The hotel is beautiful. Room 902 is highly recommended with a wraparound balcony. We stayed twice and both rooms were gorgeous. Breakfast was perfect. But best of all were the young crew of staff - Cecilia, Tomas and Nicholas to name but three. Charming, informative, smart and really helpful in navigating both the streets and financial system in Argentina. We were in BA for a week and never felt a moment of danger or worry. It was a blast!

The breakfast room is below street level and therefore windowless. This is a petty point - half an hour a day?

The hotel is lovely, but beds were not very comfortable, and this alone can be a major issue! The hotel uses synthetic mattress protectors that got us sweating at night and were itchy. Being some one who travels regularily, most other hotel have solved this by using softer and organic materials. This is something the staff at Carles Hotels should still work on.
